We hired Joe Luna, Luna Design Group to design an attached garage with a roof-top deck and a new front porch on our small lot. Joe came up with a clever design that is beautiful, functional, and fits with the character of our 100+ year old house. Every detail, including materials, was specified in the design, making it really easy for us and for our contractors. Everything that was specified was high quality, appropriate for the style of our house, and to be built to last. He also worked with our town to ensure the design would conform as closely as possible to relevant codes (we needed a special permit for any change in this case). He has relationships with contractors who were all excellent options. Joe also visited the site regularly to ensure that the job was done to his specifications. The end result greatly exceeded our expectations.

We were determined to have our addition blend in from the outside as well as the inside. We have seen so many additions that look as though someone stuck a box on the back of a house. Joe did not disappoint. People are just as impressed with the outside as they are with the inside. In a situation that can be very stressful, Joe was easy to work with. He understood what we wanted to accomplish and easily helped us over any bumps that came up along the way. We love our addition and I would hire Joe again.

When a tree fell on our house a few years after our initial construction was complete, Joe made himself just as available and responsive as when we were doing the original construction. I have worked with Luna Design on several high-end remodels. I have always found Luna Design to be be thorough, meticulous professionals who not only provide a great design, but who are willing ot listen when a solution to a problem is required in the field. It is not often that a design professional shows such mutual respect for the trades. I believe this respect makes for a smooth running project and happier clients.

Though the area of our house renovated by Joe Luna is now 14 years old, it still garners wows from first-time beholders. Luna incorporated the surrounding land skillfully into the design and his combination of space and light was superb. Part of this design was a performance area with a 40 person seating capacity. It's views and multi-functionality is viewed as the best around. The master bedroom suite with it's second floor veranda, the other major part of this renovation still delightst for vistas, functionality and light.

Luna Design delivered a stunning design beyond my expectations and they did it on the first presentation of sketches. They were excellent in follow through, easy to work with, and made communications with them quick very easy. They were also responsive to design suggestions and not afraid to guide my ideas to practical solutions. High recommend.
