Hiring Earl to design the total renovation of the 1920s Spanish Revival house we bought in 2015 was the best decision we made. Given how stressful a project a home renovation can be, Earl was always the reassuring, knowledgable, thorough and creative presence who helped keep everything on track. Earl spent some time getting to know us so that he understood our priorities, our aesthetic and how we lived. He then went to work and we began a rewarding, collaborative journey. His attention to detail is phenomenal, his input was always relevant and his creativity helped turn a perfectly ordinary house into an imaginative, exciting one, perfectly suited to our lifestyle. We wholeheartedly recommend Earl!

Parson Architecture did the addition to the back of my house in LA. The house used to have a small kitchen and only one bath, but now I've got a huge kitchen with eat-in area, plenty of built-in storage, french doors opening onto a large deck, and a new second bathroom plus laundry room. And it all flows together. I think many architecture firms can do an addition that just gets you your additional square footage. Plain & simple. But Parson understands how you want to use the space, how you want your life-patterns to flow through it, and how to maximize the space you have and the characteristics your home already has. Parson even seems to consider how sunlight and landscaping impacts the feel of your space and your enjoyment of it. The renovated Parson's space works because Parson understands homes, people, and how people use homes. Couldn't be happier.

I worked with Earl Parson of Parson Architecture in bringing our LePort Montessori School to life in Irvine. Throughout the design, jurisdictional processing and construction process Earl served as a pro-active and committed team player all the way through the end helping towards getting our doors open. The design of our facilities is unique since the design must accommodate the needs of our children. This requires great attention to detail to specific nuances not found in a typical project. Earl was sensitive to our use type, creating welcoming spaces supporting a pleasant learning environment for our students and teaching spaces for our staff. Additionally, the construction process was on a fast track schedule. This required a responsive design professional working collaboratively with the construction team and City. Earl's dedication to the project led him to the construction site on a regular basis resolving questions in the field, driving prompt coordination with consultants and seeing the project all the way through to our Grand Opening event with families.

We were looking to do a major remodel on our home and was immediately drawn to Earl's designs. After meeting with him, we knew that he was someone we could end up working with. Unfortunately, we changed directions with the project but I still highly recommend Earl. Even for smaller projects (which we can see doing in the future!) because he is very creative. He takes the time to get to know the client and understands their needs.

I've worked with (Earl) Parson Architecture on two projects, both with excellent results! The first was a 2-story addition to our home, and the second was a kitchen/family room expansion and new bathroom for an investment property. On the second (and more recent) project, Earl provided multiple layout options to consider with pros/cons of each version. He also was a great asset navigating through the permit process with ease. His demeanor is kind and conscientious; and his work is thoughtful, reasonable and punctual. I look forward to working with him again!

Working with Earl Parson on an design piece for my home was a great pleasure. He is creative, communicative, and a consummate professional. He gave me plenty of opportunity to give feedback into the project and kept me closely updated on his progress all along the way. The end result was a piece that I enjoy daily and treasure dearly.
