I used Rice & Brown Architects to design and produce plans for a custom beach house in Bay Head, NJ. Excellent service, great ideas, and very easy to work with. Chris and Dustin really hit a home run with the design. In addition, they have been extremely helpful during the construction process. I would highly recommend Rice & Brown Architects and would definitely use them for future projects.

Atlantic Architectural Millwork

Great design! Looks perfect in Spring Lake and fits the neighborhood like the house has been there 100+ years. Modern design details like Marvin Bi-folding door system gives homeowner modern living experience and "old school" Marvin Push-Out casements add to overall traditional designs for modern lifestyles.

New Age Stone

We had customers come into our store before they started their project on renovating their house to get some ideas on what they wanted for their house. After spending a couple of hours with them we set up an appointment to go see their house, it was being gutted when we went there to see the project, so we were lucky we got to see the before and the after. We have been in this business for around 30 years now, and will never forget that house (Kitley's) What Chris and Dustin did to that house just blew me away! What was an old tired, small roomed house without any of the modern niceties, conveniences and amenities was transformed into a beautiful, elegant, functional house.

Commented: wood decking around poolThe deck wood is Ipe. It is very hard and durable and requires no maintenance. it naturally weathers to light grey and rarely if ever splinters, again, its rock hard.

Commented: Can you tell me a little about the roof materials.The roofing here is red cedar shingles. They are 24" long with about 5" to the weather. This is an expensive system but well worth the look and wear.

Commented: Muntin bars size?Hi Candice. The main differences is custom ability. I like Jeld Wen. We typically use 7/8" muntins. Never smaller, and occasionally 1" but 7/8 is best. Good luck.
