Randy Russell was our architect for our home. I found him by finding pictures of his work online, and was drawn to it immediately. His attention to small details and lines is beyond amazing. He focuses on function as well as form, so our house is not only beautiful, but also functions well and is built around our specific lives. Our house was a unique challenge being built on a pre-existing foundation, and Randy was always up for any challenge or idea we had during the process. During our meetings, I felt like Randy really listened to our preferences, patiently discussed his other ideas or any concerns, and he was able to incorporate different ideas into a workable solution for everyone. Randy took our ideas and made them 100% better! Randy is good with flexibility and deadlines, so while building is always stressful, Randy made the design process a fun adventure and made us realize a lot of our "dream home" ideas were more attainable than we thought! I would love to work with Randy again in the future and absolutely recommend him to anyone.

We were quite pleased with our experience with Randy. He was very prompt, professional and helpful. He listened to our wants and did a great job of putting them into our plans. When we wished to make a minor change to the original plan, he was very flexible and came up with new options quickly. As time as gone by, we have appreciated the work Randy did for us more and more. My wife and I engaged Randy Russell to build our new home after interviewing many architects. Selecting Randy was a great decision. He was talented, knowledgeable, exceptionally responsive, and had high integrity. He is a true professional. He designed the house, engaged engineers to do the technical specifications and helped us monitor its construction. This was very important since we were not living in the state in which the house was constructed. He coordinated very well with the builder (Randy Wall from Lebanon, another great professional). Throughout the design and construction process he was very open to discussions on various alternatives. We are very pleased with the house and I can highly recommend Randy Russell.

This adorable cottage went from small and dingy on the inside to spacious, open and ready to entertain friends and family. As the daughter of the owner, I saw the house before any renovations were contemplated. I followed the progress from the initial design through construction and completion, and cannot tell you how impressive the transformation has been in each space of the house. The kitchen, for example, was cramped and separated from the rest of the house and was totally reconfigured to be open and flow into the rest of the living space. Outside space was also added with a large porch to allow my Mom, her friends, and our family to enjoy beautiful sunsets and extra space when visiting. Somehow the space feels just right for a small family, but also for hosting a large number of guests. I know my Mom is proud of her new home and from the comments of neighbors, it is clear that this house is also the pride of the neighborhood.

I had the opportunity to work with Randy Russell as the general contractor on the McNicholl residence. The plans and specifications for the project were done with care and professionalism. Randy was very much involved throughout the building of the home from the excavation through the finish details.
