Andrea Guay is a visual artist with a free spirit. Her landscapes are reflections of her personality: spontaneity tempered by contemplation and deliberation. “All of my work develops from my experience and interaction with a local landscape. I combine personal experience with daily life, dreams, history and visual impressions from contemporary or historical media to create studies of a moment in time." Believing that original art should be part of everyday life. Guay keeps her pricing affordable and encourages her clients to select pieces that they have an emotional connection to. "You have to want to look at a piece again and again. Hanging original art in your home or office is the strongest way to create the most personal spaces!" Andrea Guay earned a BA in Architecture from Wellesley College and completed the New York/Paris Program at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Her work hangs in private collections in 9 states and three countries.

i have purchased multiple pieces from Andrea. She has a way of bringing life and energy into the room with her art. Each piece is so expressive,I have them in different homes and some are oil and one is watercolor. I never tire of seeing them. She can also do color schemes so I will certainly be purchasing a commissioned piece.
I have four of Andrea's original paintings hanging in my house - everything from colorful to neutral landscapes, an urban cityscape and a rural scene. They work well with my eclectic style. Andrea is easy to work with and listens to client needs, when helping clients choose pieces from her existing collection or commissioning an original work of art. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more work from Andrea.
I've bought many of this artists paintings
I own at least 4 of Andrea's pieces. My favorite is one called Spring House (or maybe Old Spring House) that hangs in the living room over the fireplace, but the most complimented one is a large vertical piece from within a multi-colored woods.
