Jen Violette began working with molten glass in 1991 at the age of 18 while a freshman at Alfred University. She received her BFA with honors in glass and metal sculpture in 1994 and has been working with glass for 24 years. She has studied extensively with famous glass artists Lino Tagliapietra, William Morris, Pino Signoretto, Dante Marioni, and Karen Willenbrink-Johnsen among others.
Violette's Vermont art studio is surrounded by beautiful flower gardens, berry bushes and fruit trees. She has won numerous awards for her glass art and exhibits her pieces in a dozen fine glass galleries nationwide.
