We have ordered several beams from this site. They are beautiful and very easy company to work with. This is our second home we have used beams to make the farmhouse design we were looking for. Great product.

We purchased reclaimed barn wood as flooring for a contemporary cabin in Hocking Hills. The staff at Antique Beams & Boards were always prompt and courteous when answering our many questions - there were a lot! They were so patient when we had to move out the delivery date more than once, due to the build process running behind. The floors are now in, and everyone who has seen then has remarked about how gorgeous they are. We can't wait to showcase the finished project, of which these floors are an integral part. I'm sure cabin 2 will incorporate the same flooring, again from Antique Beams & Boards.

We recently built a new home and bought 7 large barn beams from Antique Beams and Boards ! From the beginning they were great to work with ! Jen in the office was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make our purchase go smoothly! She talked to owner Matt , they picked out several rustic beams they thought would work well with our job ! She then sent numerous pictures ! The beams were perfect ! They cleaned them, cut them to size and debugged them ! When we were ready the owner Matt delivered them ! They are perfect and just what we wanted ! We highly recommend them if you’re looking for old beams, flooring or barn siding ! They work with you at every step to get you what you want !

The customer service before they received my money was ok; however, after they received my money it turned unbelievably horrible! First, when i lined up my contractor for install I was quoted a time frame for completion by Antique Beams and Boards. ( They completed 5 weeks after ) I had box beams and other beams made. I was told mine was a large order. There was a crack in one of the box beams, a chunk missing from another, and one handrail that was cut 1' short at their shop. My contractor had to glue the cracked beam, make do with the chunk that was missing and piece another in. I was told that the handrail that was 1' short was correct on the invoice and therefore it should be right. When I returned it to pick up the new one THEIR writing was still on the end the rail, and they tried to blame me for it being too short stating that my contractor must have cut it. I would recommend NOT using this company! I have never been treated so badly.

Comment from Antique Beams & Boards:
Jim placed his order in the middle of November and paid his 50% deposit, we informed him the order was complete before Christmas but at that point, he wanted to wait until after the holidays for delivery. We personally delivered the order to Jim and his son, who helped to unload it into the house on January 6th. This order was naturally light-colored wood that was stained dark. Any kind of break would have been evident both in our inspections as well as when Jim helped move all of the individual pieces into the house. At this point Jim was happy and we had still yet to be paid the balance on the order. We do not often deliver material without payment in full at time of delivery, but Jim seemed happy with everything and we are confident in our quality of work. We delivered the material anyhow out of good faith. Part of his order was 3 pieces of handrail made of different material, one piece at 8'6", one at 5'6", and one at 4'. These lengths were correctly stated on his invoice build sheet and all three were triple-checked with the length of each marked on the end. On January 8th, Jim asked if we would stain the handrails to match the box beams, this was not part of the original order but we agreed to at no extra charge. He brought them out along with the final payment on the order out to us on January 13th. Jim picked up the stained handrails over a week later. It was not until the 26th that he texted us about a piece broken off of one of the box beams, almost 3 weeks after delivery to his house under construction. We informed Jim that this had to have happened at the job site, as it was a very noticeable fresh break that could not have been missed here or by him when we delivered. He insisted it happened at our shop and wanted a replacement. We informed him he would have to pay for a replacement or that we would fix the piece he had at no charge. His contractor ended up fixing the piece. He did not inform us of the "short" chunk of handrail until February 8th. At this point, Jim had been belligerent both on the phone with the female office manager and to employees at the yard. Again we attempted to appease him and agreed to replace the 8'6" handrail that he claimed was cut short. He now however wanted it to be 9' long. We agreed again at no extra charge and asked him to bring back the piece he claimed was cut short. What he brought back to us was the 5'6" piece, clearly marked by us on the end, not the piece he claimed was short. We gave him the replacement anyhow in the hopes of being done with him. We are a company that prides itself on customer service and quality. We have been in business for 16 years and have many repeat customers that have been around since the beginning. It is very unfortunate when a customer takes advantage of that.

We have gotten supplies from Antique Beams and Boards for several projects over the years. I have always been impressed with the attention to detail and knowledge of the materials they provide. They have done a nice job to honor the history and craftsmanship that was put into the reclaimed lumber they sell.

The best selection of antique beams, varying in color, size and hewn. I was able to get exactly what I wanted and this was the only place in the country that I could find that would hollow out the beam so that We could install in over a laminated (LVL) beam. It fit perfectly over the beam! Matt was helpful and patient with all my questions!

Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Fast response time, accurate estimate of delivery date, and material was accurately described. Sample was representative of delivered product which was old barn siding for a feature wall and 21 foot beams. Prompt, efficient, and courteous. They worked hard to understand what we wanted out of our project, made helpful suggestions and provided advice which proved useful. I recommend Antique Beams and Boards without reservation. A pleasure to work with these people. Project cost covers the wood and shipping, not total project, labor, etc.

I had a very specific mantle idea when we decided to make over our 1950s fireplace; however, had a hard time sourcing a hand-hewn, reclaimed wood beam locally in VA. I contacted Antique Beams & Boards using their online form and had a quote within 24 hours (business day) from Matt, the owner. He also invited me to call if I had questions. I didn't think the owner would really have time to answer a phone call, but he did and he was friendly and professional in answering my questions. Invoicing was super easy. And I got a text with pictures of my mantle from Ben a couple days before it shipped, which was an unexpected bonus! Shipping was fast through UPS and the mantle is exactly what I had envisioned. Working with this company could not have been easier. The quote was more than fair - I had 2 local quotes from mill shops that were similar but the final product wasn't even going to be what I wanted. Both my husband and I are totally pleased and would work with Matt and his crew again if we have the need.

We had the opportunity to work with Antique Beams & Boards on a home project involving several hand hewn beams and a wood mantle, and couldn’t be more thrilled with the way the project turned out!! After months of research and communication in preparation for our project, it was clear Matt and Antique Beams & Boards would be able to provide exactly what we were looking for. They were extremely passionate and knowledgeable about not only their reclaimed wood products, but showed genuine interest in making sure our project turned out perfect! After finalizing several details, the beams arrived and turned out better than we could have imagined! The beams compliment one another and certainly complimented the environment they were installed in! I would definitely recommend Antique Beams & Boards to anyone who is looking for reclaimed wood!
