Hallmark Floors

This review is a little late, but I'm so fed up with these floors that I decided to finally write a review. Here is the back story...we remodeled our entire first floor in 2021. Other than the laundry room and half-bath, our entire first floor plan has Hallmark Monterey Caballero Hardwood Floors, which have now been discontinued. Picking out engineered hardwood floors wasn't easy. Obviously, once a decision is made, you're pretty much stuck with them. We brought home countless samples from multiple flooring companies. We had a designer that provided us with ideas as well. Even after we decided on Hallmark, part of me was hesitant & I even tried looking at other wood floors. Nevertheless, we had to make a decision to stay on schedule with the first floor project. The floors are decent looking. After a few weeks or so, we started realizing that we may have made a grave mistake. These floors are so soft and sensitive that whenever something is accidentally dropped, it either scratches the floor or you notice a significant dent. These floors are not durable whatsoever. Keep in mind that we do not allow shoes to be worn in the house and we have no pets. All the chairs/furniture, including the range, are fitted with Scotch guard floor protectors. Yet, with all these safeguards, there are several scratches and dents in various areas. They look awful! It gets worse. From the get-go, we noticed footprints every time. This includes footprints with bare feet or with socks. Even after using their TrueClean Floor Cleaner, as required, we notice footprints immediately. These floors are too difficult to keep clean. We contacted Hallmark and the flooring company that we bought the floors from. They had a person contact me and I explained the issue we were experiencing. He instructed me to clean the floor with a damp cloth, which I did, and asked me if I noticed residue. I did notice a residue. The residue on the cloth was the same color as the TrueClean cleaner. Nonetheless, I was told that they could not help me further and that this wasn't covered under warranty. Even though my specific flooring was discontinued, they are still offering the Monterey collection with the same finish. We deeply regret this decision. I would stay clear of Hallmark Floors.

We took our time picking the right floor and selected Hallmark. It is now installed and looks beautiful. Richards Carpet and Flooring in Ham Lake MN did a great and timely job. They put together a schedule and me it precisely. The 5" Hallmark product looks beautiful.

We chose Hallmark floors because we needed to remove the carpet and have something durable because we have dogs. Hallmark floors are durable and look beautiful—we have the Clyde Maple. Originally, we were going to put them in our kitchen/living room and hallway, but I loved them so much when installed that we added on and put them in all of our bedrooms, too. Not only is Hallmark flooring a joy to look at, but it's also a breeze to maintain. Compared to our previous carpet and laminate, it's a world of difference in elegance and ease of cleaning.

My finance and I purchased our first home in March! We installed the regatta spinnaker oak floors ourselves…it not only transformed the space but we were able to do it in a weekend! We absolutely love the floors - the quality is obvious and the color is perfect a perfect, light, natural shade. Highly recommend.

We just had the Avenue Collection-Newbury Hickory installed in our great room and we couldn't be happier! The floor is beautiful and with two dogs, not a paw print in sight! The color and finish are perfect, and the variations give it so much character. The wide board look is truly stunning :)

We are so happy with the quality and appearance of our Hallmark floors. We have the American Traditional Classic Red Oak engineered floors. Our whole downstairs looks brand new!!!

We are in love with our Hallmark floors. We chose the Ventura Sandbar Hickory hardwood to complement our California coastal decor and have been thrilled with the appearance and durability of the flooring. It has tones of tan, gray, and blue/green, making it a beautiful focal point for our furnishings. Taking care of the floors also have been easy and they show absolutely no signs of wear after 6-7 months. I’m so happy that we chose Hallmark!

We had the Orris Maple wood floors installed in our new construction home and absolutely LOVE them. They are gorgeous. The color brightens the home, makes it feel warm, and adds a modern feel. We get so many compliments on our floors and could not have chosen a better one!

I recently purchased the Hallmark Serenity Clean Plus grade wood planks, and my experience has been far from satisfactory. The product description promised "Wood planks with limited pronounced color, variation and more nuanced contrast," but the actual planks exhibited highly varied colors, mineral streaks, bleached areas, and knots. The discrepancy between the sample in stores and the delivered product was striking. The quality control seemed lacking, with a significant number of planks showing factory defects, including an alarming 60% waist factor. The first delivery arrived with factory defects and in the wrong color – yellow instead of the light grey I ordered. Dealing with customer service was equally frustrating. Responses took days, and the Florida representative displayed poor customer service skills, offering minimal assistance. It's disheartening that, due to factory defects, my initial installation had to be undone, and I had to endure a three-week wait for a replacement batch. Overall, my experience with Hallmark has been marked by subpar product quality, discrepancies in color, and unimpressive customer service. I hope others are spared from such a disappointing purchase.

I couldn't be happier with our new hardwood floors from Hallmark! The quality, depth of color, character, and finish are absolutely gorgeous! I definitely made the right decision in choosing the Monterey - Hickory - Gaucho in multiple widths for our new construction home!

Hello, we got our hallmark flooring installed in October 2023 and couldn’t be happier. We chose Hallmark due to the durability, reputation, and quality of the product. We also had a specific color in mind and the Monterey Hardwood Collection in Alhambra Oak was exactly what we wanted. We are very happy with our decision on Hallmark floors!

We have the Alta Vista Del Mar Oak and they are just show stopping stunning! They easy to clean even with a small dog, and we literally get comments every time someone new comes over! We haven’t had any issues with them, we did buy the cleaner which we think honestly works the best. We got the wider width as well, which we thinks makes it feel a little cozier and homey.
