Short & Paulk Supply Co

Short and Paulk was established in 1941 by J.P. Short III and his uncle, H.M. Paulk. The company was originally established as a hardware store. H.M. Paulk died in 1961, and J.P. Short III purchased his interest in the business the same year. Jay Short is currently the 3rd generation CEO of the company which operates four Home centers in Tifton, Sylvester, Albany, and Dawson GA, along with a truss plant and door shop in Tifton. Today Short and Paulk supplies a diverse line of hardware, lumber, and building materials to contractors and homeowners all over south Georgia. The business has changed a great deal over the years. Since starting the Company up in 1941 with 3 employees, Short and Paulk currently employs over 65 full and part-time employees. Our Contractor Salespeople have an average of 18 years of experience in the construction industry. They have the experience and expertise to solve most any problem their customers may have. We don't consider anything a sale until it's delivered!
