Kitchens Galore

For our home renovation, Laura played an integral part in the cabinet design process - from materials and style selection, to making great recommendations on how to configure the interior cabinets. She’s experienced, professional, easy to talk to, and very responsive. There was some miscommunication with regard to reviewing and placing the order, as well as some quality issues (warping) with some of the cabinets. To be fair, the warping might have stemmed from the cabinets sitting in the garage in the hot summer heat. As is with any home renovation, mishaps are unfortunately all too common, and anticipated, but what stood out to me the most, was how Laura handled each situation promptly, took full responsibility, and made sure that my cabinets came out absolutely amazing, and they did! I would use her again for my future projects, and recommend her for all your cabinet needs.

Laura recently designed and provided cabinets for a huge kitchen designed from scratch for our remodel. We are super happy with the finished product and are loving every bit of this kitchen. Given how big this project was, there was bound to be imperfections in the cabinets. But Laura solved them all for us. She paid a significant amount of attention to detail and fixed every single thing to make it all perfect in the end. She has been extremely responsive to all our communication. And as I said before, you can trust Laura to deliver a perfect end result, and she will go out of her way to make it happen if she has to.

We hired Laura to help us with our kitchen renovation and are so glad we did. We live in an older home, and were overdue for a kitchen renovation. We wanted to make the most of a smaller space without having to move any walls. Laura came in person to our home and gave a recommendation for the layout that we hadn’t considered and it is probably my favorite thing that we did with the space. Communication throughout the project was great; she is very responsive by text, phone, and email. The cabinets themselves are lovely and fit together beautifully. I like the frameless style as it helped us modernize our Tudor-style home without losing the original character and charm. Custom cabinets also enabled us to make the most of every nook and cranny of our space. Laura has amazing design sense: as part of our project she designed a stunning hutch for extra kitchen and dish storage. It’s truly gorgeous. Laura also referred us to great people to work with to buy glass for the cabinets and cabinet knobs and pulls. I honestly wish I had reached out to her sooner in my kitchen renovation process as she’s been in the business so long she knows great people to work with. The only thing I wish we’d had more of is clearer communication on pricing and how the design decisions we made would impact that. In the future, I’ll ask more questions myself along the way to avoid sticker shock later in the process. Overall, though, we’re very happy with the end result of our renovation and Laura is a big part of that. I’d recommend her to anyone considering a renovation.

Laura is an incredibly experienced kitchen designer. We hired her during a large renovation to do the design and cabinetry of our mudroom and our kitchen. She was thorough and detail-oriented throughout the whole process. Even despite some hiccups with our designer and GC during the project, she was fully committed to seeing it through until the cabinets were installed perfectly down to the last detail. They look beautiful and we have even more storage now than we need, which I never thought possible in our kitchen! We appreciated her designer's eye and her referrals for a fabricator and an installer. While she was more expensive than a few other options we looked into, Laura was worth it. She is a very experienced professional.

Laura was great to work with and our kitchen came out great. We changed our minds a couple times as we were figuring out exactly what we wanted and she was patient and flexible and we ultimately got a beautiful kitchen. She had great ideas for us and the quality of the cabinets she uses is also outstanding. We were very happy with her.

Laura was an excellent designer to work with on our very first home/kitchen remodel. She is extremely knowledgeable about the entire remodel process from end-to-end, and while her business is focused on cabinetry, she was kind and helpful enough to answer our questions regarding hoods, countertops, hardware, appliances, etc. During the design phase, she reviewed my inspiration photos and quickly picked up on the look we were going for. She was able to recommend which cabinets in her available lines we should select based on our desired look and budget. Her mock-ups were beautiful, and really helped us envision the space and feel confident in placing our order. Laura was communicative throughout the build process and kept us up to date on timelines - we were on a time crunch and our cabinets were being finished up over the December holiday season, so she was very helpful in holding the builders accountable to getting our order to us on time. The cabinets were delivered in great condition with all required parts included, and Laura was in communication with our contractor to answer all of their installation questions. A few of the cabinets had some minor imperfections, and Laura was insistent that we order replacement parts so that our final result was absolutely perfect! She really cares about her clients and wants to make sure we are happy with our kitchen for the long haul, and we definitely are!

Laura at Kitchens Galore was a pleasure to deal with. After years of wishing and planning it was time for us to do the kitchen of our dreams. Laura helped our dreams come true. She is very knowledgeable about the whole process of a remodel and of the options for cabinetry. Great personality to deal with and very professional. Laura at Kitchens Galore helped us from the ‘blank state’ to cabinet design to (almost!) fully installed. We are very happy with the cabinet quality and how the room looks overall.
