Bay Area Floors & Design exceeded expectation in design, installation, experience and expertise.. They provide holistic design and installation services from start to finish. Lori & team helped us consider lighting, .durability, lifestyle, location etc. when initially our focus was wood color. The installation was smooth and timely. Lori hand picked Sam to do installation from her team of installers because of his expertise in the particular wood we choose and the fact we live in Foster City (landfill). The 1500 square foot job was completed in one week, per schedule and right on budget (no surprises). We absolutely love our new wood floors (see pics) and we wholeheartedly recommend Bay Area Floors and Design.

The company has a very good selection of flooring materials. Our experience with the staff has been very pleasant: low-key sales-wise, very helpful and professional, and quick on follow up and customer service. Owner Lori Wyzard makes it all work. She is very hands-on, very up on trends and materials, and makes sure everything is running smoothly. We have had Bay Area Floors carpet and tile our home twice and both times Lori was with us throughout, including working out even the minutest issue with installer scheduling and logistics. The installers did beautiful work both times and completed on schedule.

Bay Area Floors is a full service flooring showroom that we have used for our remodeling projects over the years. They are up to date and carry an extensive selection of flooring of the highest quality. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful in educating you on all their products. Their installers are professional, tidy and do meticulous work. They are terrific to work with and I would highly recommend them for any project.

I hired BAFD to do some repairs on an existing wood floor. I first went to another company but they were not interested, I understood, as it was not a huge job but a very difficult one. So I put it off thinking it would be difficult and expensive. Sometime later I was referred to BAFD by friend and spoke with Lori. She immediately understood what was required and I scheduled an appointment with her installer. The installer, Sam, showed up and on time, we discussed the project and then Sam went at it. Sam also brings his own Quality Control dept., his wife, who may have out worked Sam. She was more concerned about the detailing of the floor than I was. They were both incredibly professional and efficient. My floor was completed better than original and in less time than i had imagined it would take. I had been stressing over the repairs for about a year before calling BAFD, if I had known they could make it this easy and affordable I would have never hesitated to start the process. I love my floor again.

I have used BAF for more than 10-years. The recently did my home in Lake Tahoe. We picked out carpeting in Arizona, communicated with them, coordinated the installation all long distance. You can only do this with companies that you can trust!
