T has been the seller for three gabbeh carpets which define my living and working spaces in a two room mountain cabin. My first reason for all three purchases was to warm the wooden floors in winter. Then the beauty and quality of the carpets attracted me. Then the prices weren't out of sight. The three carpets are all very different, and one is quite old. The wools are all soft enough to lay a baby on, sturdy, wonderful to walk on in bare feet. I have tended towards the natural wool tones, and greatly enjoy the varied shades of cream to dark chocolate. The antique is perhaps the most remarkable because it is as soft and flexible as a tapestry, yet I am using it at the door. These were the foundations of my décor. I have added furniture, window treatments, and designed each living space after it was blocked out by the carpet. T has been very professional, pleasant, efficient to work with, and has a strong sense of the value of his inventory. Nevertheless, with each sale, he was willing to do a bit of bargaining, so that it was affordable in the end. I look forward to many years of continuous and hard use.

T Robinson's store is a wonderful example of what one can have in oriental carpetsand rugs! Sizes run from small prayer carpets to room-size rugs....Most are old but there is also a selection of modern, newly designed rugs. My first impression left me with feeling that I was in an art gallery. And, it truely is the way the caapets are displayed. Personally, I have 2 rugs that T and I choose together.
