I know people are often looking for good contractors, and I wanted to share the AMAZING experience we had with Distinctive Designers & Builders. This is long, but worth it: https://dd-builders.com/ We recently hired them to build a mudroom, and they were professional, efficient, creative, and timely with every aspect of the project-and compared to a few other quotes we got, they were middle of the road. From day one, they were easy to get ahold of and always in communication. They showed up every morning, including Saturdays, at 7:30 and worked many days until sun down! We couldn’t believe it. The project took just over 3 weeks from start to finish. The crew was polite, professional, clean, and focused. Each time there was even a slight variation from our original contract (which often happens with projects like this), they created an addendum and we reviewed and signed it, before they proceeded. Marc, the foreman, is phenomenal. He came up with creative solutions we needed help with (the dog bowls for one), and had great rapport with his team and with us.
