Disaster averted! Thanks to Rick Villandry Remodeling we can now safely use our deck. In addition they saved our sunroom from collapse. The four support posts were rotten at the bottom and just, pretty much, hanging there. Couldn’t have asked for a more professional job done taking my vision and making it a reality.

To say that my kitchen needed work is an understatement. I had a typical outdated kitchen, Java colored cabinets, white laminate countertops/backsplash with the 70’s gold flecks, and popcorn ceilings. Not only was it dated, but there were several failed DIY attempts made over the years that instead of saving me money, were a complete waste of time and money. In January 2020, I hired Rick Villandry Remodeling to renovate my kitchen. From the design process to the day of job completion, Rick and Rich were professional and innovative with ideas about how best to optimize the space and aesthetics in my home. I have lived with this kitchen for more than a year now and can honestly say I wouldn’t change anything about their design or their workmanship. From the lighting over the island and work spaces to the drawers and cabinet features that just make sense, to the recommendation from them to carry the new flooring from the kitchen to living room and foyer. My kitchen is not only beautiful but 100% functional for someone who loves to cook and bake. Rick Villandry Remodeling essentially gave me a new home and I am still as happy when I walk into my kitchen as the day I first saw the completed project. They have earned my trust and respect and I will never choose a different contractor. I already have them lined up for Summer 2021 for a deck and patio-can’t wait!

We hired Rick and Rich to replace an old deck on the back of our home, and we could not be happier with the results. The project turned out to be more complicated than we initially expected (by no fault of theirs, but rather because of some existing issues with the house that were uncovered during demolition of the old deck), and they handled everything perfectly, consulting us when needed and being completely transparent about any changes that were needed. They were conscientious of our family being home during the renovation, left the site cleaned up and organized each day, and were great to work with all the way from the initial designs to the completion of the project. We have already started talking with them about another project next year, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Best guys for the job. The garage space is much roomier and now properly supported. It's never looked better. I would recommend this company again and again.

We had an excellent experience with a major home remodeling project done by RVR. From the moment we met with Rick and Rich (father and son team), we sensed an instant likeability and trust factor. Those feelings quickly grew and strengthened throughout the duration of the project. We chose to have Rich (son) do the initial design work, for which the cost could be applied to the job if we were to select RVR to do the work. We were very impressed with the amazing construction design and we moved ahead with RVR. The entire process; plan/design/build, was truly enjoyable. We’d describe the Villandry’s as professional, honest, hard-working, talented, polite, personable and caring people. They were so proud of their work, and it showed. They were meticulous, leaving the site broom-swept every day. One of the selling factors for us was that both Rick and Rich committed to be onsite working every day and to continue working on our project until its completion. Not only are we glad to sing their praises, but we also want to acknowledge how incredibly friendly and professional everyone else was that worked on the project. In particular, Andrew, a full-time member of the RVR team, was absolutely tremendous and he went above and beyond in every aspect of the job, every day. ALL of the sub-contractors were top-notch professionals in their trade. Rick and Rich project-managed all of the contracted work perfectly. The communication was great and the results were phenomenal. Naturally, with any major home renovation project, there are unforeseen problems that arise. Rick was sure to contact us immediately regarding any obstacle that was faced. He would explain the situation, describe the possible options, and recommend a solution. We never felt pressured. Rick would calmly help us arrive at a decision, then quickly get it resolved. There were many instances when Rick and Rich would graciously, and generously, go the extra mile to ensure that the job was done right. Short-cuts were not an option. Whether it was days spent leveling the house, or digging up and replacing an old cement floor, to doing extra work on the foundation, they performed the job like they were working on their own property. We must also highlight the beautiful hard-scape work designed by Rick. With a sloping grade around the property, lots of attention and imagination was needed to retain the earth and do so with an attractive landscape design. Rick knew what needed to be done and he and the team went to work. He did an awesome job on that unexpected project, a testament to his many skills above and beyond that of master carpenter. With great pleasure, we rate RVR with FIVE STARS!

I have to admit I’m not usually one to write a review but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do so this time. I would highly recommend Rick , Rich and crew to anyone for any job! His craftsmanship is flawless and his attention to detail in every aspect of the job was impeccable. He built my husband and I a sunroom that is simply beautiful.Nothing was missed in the process of making this room all that we had wanted. Was very flexible when it came to a few minor changes we wanted. We also appreciated the fact that whenever we asked his opinion he was open and honest with us. The sunroom was our second time working with Rick. A few years ago he did two decks for us and everyone who sees them comments on their beauty. It never occurred to us to look for anyone besides Rick to build the sunroom. He and his crew are hard workers, polite, fun to work with and super clean. At the end of each day the work area was cleaned up as if they hadn’t even been here. I would not hesitate for a second to have him for our next job. If I could recommend 6+ stars for Rick Villandry Remodeling, I would. They undertook a large project for us; creating a full bedroom, bath, walk-in cedar closet, and exercise area in the unfinished basement area......and they finished ahead of schedule. This also included installing an egress window through part of the foundation. Our experience: Rick understands the project. He insists on top-quality work and materials, customer satisfaction, and working within budget, plans and working area (including daily clean-up). He demands the best from his crew, insisting on attention-to-detail, and that's what they provided. Rick and his team were expert and meticulous in every aspect. Rick, his son Rich, and amazing crew remodeled two bathrooms for us this past summer. The craftsmanship, loads of TLC and hard, quality labor that went into updating and renovating these rooms are what made them two stunning features in our home. Rick was honest, listened to our wants and needs, and went above and beyond to fulfill what we had hoped for. The bathrooms are absolutely stunning. We will certainly use Rick Villandry Remodeling for future projects!

Master craftsman and great communicator. Understood my wishes from the start, designed and executed a pergola that is a masterpiece! Great listener, did everything to make the customer happy and succeeded on all accounts! Provides meticulous oversight over his crew and the results are there to enjoy for a long time! Couldn't be happier! Hired Rick Villandry Remoldeling to finish our attic. When Rick came to the house to price the job we immediately felt confident. He understood exactly what we wanted. He kept us aware of any unexpected changes to make sure we were happy. Rick happily accommodated when we requested a minor change. We completely trusted Rick and his entire crew and subcontractors. My wife and I were looking to build a Master Bedroom suite over our existing garage. After an exhausting search for a contractor that could do this project within our budget, and one we felt comfortable working with, we met Rick Villandry Remodeling! From the very first meeting and until the very last day of the project, Rick and his crew were amazing to work with. They made what could have been a stressful project into such an easy transition for our family. We were never left in the dark, wondering, confused or stressed at any time during the project. They showed up when they said they were going to show up and always on time. Rick and his crew were such perfectionists with even the smallest details. They were super clean and very efficient. The finished carpentry work is probably just about the best I have ever seen. We never at any point felt like we were being "taking for a ride," as is the case with some other contractors. Included in this project was a small office area for my wife. She had a vision of what she wanted for this space and Rick absolutely nailed it with the design of this room.
