We hired Ben and Britt to undertake an extensive renovation of our heritage property in Wortley Village (Westcott). From the outset we found both Ben and Britt to be very engaged with our project, and the vision we had for the house. We had previously hired a contractor who proved incapable of handling the project, and we had a planned to add a second story, but Britt introduced a layout for our renovation that included re-doing the entire house and adding a small extension in the back instead. This suited our requirements for a second bathroom, office and also improved our current living space. She had a great vision for our project from the outset, and was excellent at helping us narrow down our design choices through the process. We wanted to preserve a heritage feel to the house despite the dramatic changes we were making, and she kept this in mind for all our decisions. Britt was also mindful of making sure the layout, design, and materials used were practical for our family with two young children. She is very direct when discussing the pros and cons of various design choices, and we really enjoyed working with her. The result is an incredible living space that exceeded our expectations. Ben was the main point of contact for the construction side of things, and throughout the process he was very communicative and straightforward about when things would be done and how long they would take. He took a very proactive approach to keeping us in the loop about how the project was progressing, and we always felt like we were up-to-date. The house is 125 years old, and a few unexpected items came up, but Ben was very good at communicating the issues that arose. They also completed the work within the budget that we discussed, and there were no surprises on any of the work that they outlined when we signed the contract. Even with the issues arising from the age of the house, we felt that they were very fair with trying to keep the costs as low as possible for us. Ben was regularly on site, and we often ran into him on the weekends when we were checking out the house. They use good quality contractors, and Ben has a good rapport with them, which helped the work move smoothly. Overall we would highly recommending working with Ben and Britt for any renovation project. A renovation of this size could have been very stressful, but the stress was kept to a minimum by their professionalism. They treated our project like it was their own house they were restoring, and it was a pleasure to deal with them throughout the process. We are very happy that we hired them, and thrilled with the end result.

I had a renovation project (floors, stairs, painting, fireplace) with Ben & Britt, where I primarily worked with design lead Sheri. The team handled both the design, and project management aspects of the renovation. The design was fantastic and working with Sheri was easy - she will both conform to your preferences but also let you know (politely!) when she thinks something might be a mistake. Her guidance was crucial to the final project choices. As far as the renovation itself went, the entire team went out of their way to make the actual renovation process as easy as possible for me. Sheri double-checked everything as the process was going on, and caught things that I might have missed. The thing that I appreciated most was the great communication and honesty of the team. They were honest about how choices would impact the budget, and there were NO surprises at the end of the project. They even managed to save some money on certain aspects and pass that along. At the end of the day, I'm so happy in my new home and that's all I could have asked.

I truly don't even know where to start. I had been following Ben & Britt at Home on Instagram for quite some time as we were thinking of renovating our home and her projects were so beautiful. When we fell in love with a downtown property and ended up needing to sell our beloved home, I immediately reached out to Britt; and actually, only Britt to stage our home. As a member of the design community myself, I do everything in my power to use only the best talent in our projects. My family and I recently relocated from Los Angeles to the London area. As we came to the end of our first Canadian renovation project, I started looking for a staging partner. While I interviewed three potential candidates, Britt from Ben & Britt was the front runner from the moment she arrived on site. As we walked thru the project, I could tell she had the ideas and experience I was looking for. Her quote arrived in a timely manner, and she was flexible on our start date. We can't recommend Ben & Britt at Home enough! They took our empty cottage, and turned both indoors and outdoors into our dream space. Ben & Britt completed this project on a major time crunch (with global furniture delays), and every piece is perfect. They captured our vision effortlessly while maintaining functionality in every room. Our cottage was move-in ready, down to the kitchen supplies, bedding and towels. As an extra special touch, they even decorated the entire space for Christmas so we could host without having to make one trip to the store. My experience with Ben and Britt at Home was amazing. I worked with Sheri and she was amazing. At the start I wanted my new house to be a "love it or list it...of course I wanted to love it." Ben and Britt came in to help us design our unfinished basement and were such a dream to work with! They were both so accommodating, really listened to our needs and smashed out an amazing layout that we absolutely love! We went from not knowing at all how we were going to plan the space to being totally obsessed. Brittany’s design choices are immaculate and the way she optimized the space was incredible. There is absolutely no way we would have come up with the genius design, and they are so flexible, accommodating, professional and incredibly responsive! Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I hired Ben and Britt at Home to decorate my new two bedroom apartment. They have done an absolutely fantastic job. My apartment now looks amazing, is comfortable and practical, and it feels like a space I really belong in. Brittany's whirlwind of enthusiasm and insightful vision made it fun to work with her. Ben and Britt were amazing to work with! We thought that we might have to move out of our home because with our growing family the space was just not functional anymore. I recently bought my first home and didn’t know where to start with designing and renovating it to make it feel like my own.
