We met with 5 different local builders when we started this custom build adventure. Cheryl Lee, hands down, left the best impression! She was knowledgeable, budget conscious and open to and interested in our ideas. From day one, working with Cheryl and Brad's team felt like family. They were always timely and attentive to any and all questions that we had and patient and informative when we were chewing over a decision. Building a custom home is a big undertaking. Choosing CL Design Build to fulfill my lifelong dream of building a custom home was a no brainer. Having toured one of Cheryl Lee’s gorgeous houses back in the days when luxury home tours were a thing, I continued to keep a close eye on her projects via the internet. When the decision was finally made to pull the trigger and start building, CL Design Build was at the top of the list. By this time, I knew I could count on CL Design Build for a beautiful, quality house with timeless appeal. Cheryl and her team did not disappoint. They did an amazing job listening to our needs and wants and incorporating all kinds of details that truly makes this house our very own. From our very first meeting, Cheryl understood that outdoor living spaces were a must-have, and she delivered, including a screened-porch, expansive deck, and a rear elevation that is just as attractive as the front. Inside, we enjoy panoramic views from windows Cheryl made certain to include in the plan. Our needs and wants for our home were communicated in so many ways—through photos, meetings, email, texts, and phone conversations, and Cheryl and team addressed them all. I could also count on Cheryl and team to find a beautiful option or solution when needed. There are so many, many decisions and choices in building a custom home, so this was much appreciated. I highly recommend CL Design Build. Cheryl and team have a lot of pride in their work, and it shows in the finished product—our forever home.

CL Design-Build is a one stop shop for all your design and building needs. They have a licensed architect(Cheryl Lee) that works directly with you to create the design you want. Once you have the design they set up the schedule for the completion of your project. They have a full set of experienced sub-contractors that they have worked with for many years that then complete the work under the supervision of the architect. My experience with them is that they are timely with their work and keep you posted on the progress on your project. The sub-contractors used are very friendly and will answer your questions or get you your answer if they must go back to the architect or site manager. They also have the contacts they work with to get the materials for your project(including cabinets, counter tops, appliances, and flooring). We found the cost for the project to be in line with what others charge. We are very pleased with the completed project.

CL Design-Build finished our basement. I had a tight budget but didn't want it to look like the budget was tight. Cheryl and her team did an outstanding job. They really worked with us to deliver a high quality project and stayed on budget. We Would highly recommend CL Design-Build.

CLDesign was amazing to work with. The project moved along so seamlessly that at times it didn't even feel like we were even building. Cheryl and her team took care of every detail. I would not build again without CLDesign. In fact the project was fun! If a bump in the road did occur (which was a rare occasion) Cheryl had a solution or two in place. She is a true professional. I felt so comfortable with her team of tradesmen that worked on the various aspects of construction and that means a lot to a homeowner. Entrusting people into your home and wanting quality work are definitely two things you can count on.

My experience with CL Design-Build was wonderful. We hired Cheryl to help us through what we thought was going to be a very extensive complete remodel. Cheryl listened closely and drew up great plans. It soon became clear that it would be cheaper and faster to demolish the existing home, keeping the foundation, and build as new. We ran into some issues (well and septic, etc.) that caused delays and added expenses, but Cheryl was always conscious of our budget and did everything possible to keep our costs down. We were also living in temporary housing during this period, which had to end by a certain date, and she made sure we could get in to the new home even though everything wasn't complete. Cheryl has a great team of subs, has really creative design ideas, and did a terrific job all the way through our entire process.

CL Design-Build has been our guide from concept to build. They are professional, provide key input, are on top of trends and technology and very reliable.

We began working with Cheryl on plans for our vacation home when we originally hired her as an architect. After taking the plans to several builders, her company as well, her bid was competitive and we felt she would do best at building our vision of our home. Cheryl's team worked through this horrible past winter and our house was pretty much finished on time with little issues. We enjoyed working with Cheryl and her team and are very happy with their finished product. At the end of the build we really appreciated Cheryl's willingness to respond to our schedule needs and overall understanding of how everyone was impacted by this winter. We would recommend CL Design-Build for architectural plans and construction.
