Craftsmen Homebuilders Inc. is a small dedicated group of experienced craftsmen able to handle any remodeling project, no matter how large or complex. We enjoy working on all types of projects from historic restoration to modern / contemporary concrete and glass. Charlie Englebert, the owner, has been active in local residential construction for over 40 years. Over those years he has collaborated with the late restoration architect Harvie Jones as well as Bird and Kamback and other architects so he is well versed in the multiple disciplines it takes to complete a project that satisfies the needs of the client. We also offer design services and we design the majority of what we build. Our designer, Pete, was a master carpenter and project lead previously, therefore he understands structure and the exact needs of carpenters on the job. His background in marketing, architecture, and industrial design bring a unique skill set together to help evolve good design with a minimum of stress to our clients. The nucleus of our company, owner, designer, and three project leads has worked together for more than 15 years. Many of our client relationships have lasted equally long as we maintain our projects after they are completed.
