After interviewing 5 designers I chose Dan. My husband and I bought a fixer upper and needed a complete kitchen remodel. The space was small and we couldn’t visualize anything. We had Dan come out, he spent time with us, talked about our uses and wants, measured and then he presented us with 7 designs! Once we met again, we dialed one in and he supplied a rendering. My kitchen hasn’t even been built yet and I am so excited - Dan was knowledgeable and helpful. I definitely recommend!!

Dan was a pleasure to work with. I had a vision in my head of the look of my kitchen cabinets and Dan didn't expect me to settle on something close - he was very patient and brought samples until I saw exactly what I wanted. I spent a lot of hime on Houzz getting ideas from their photos but even though I, for the most part, knew what I wanted, Dan was helpful with ideas, products to use and changes. He finished the project in the time frame presented and his pricing was accurate. Couldn't be happier.

Dan designed and remodeled all three bathrooms. He provided valuable advice on appliances and fixtures. Best of all he had his crew working everyday so the project was completed in a timely manner. It went so well that we kept adding other remodeling projects we needed to do such as new ceiling fans, tiling a hallway, upgrading storage cabinets. replacing a skylight, new baseboards and painting. All of the work more than met our expectations and we now have a very beautiful home. Thanks, Dan.

I have lived in my home for 37 years and have used Dan for every remodel over that time span. He is remarkable for his space planning designs and absolute attention to detail. He is always available to discuss a project and stands by his work even after the job has been completed.

If you are looking for a job that is perfect, do go with Dan Nesovic. He personally supervises his work and created for us a perfect kitchen. His professional attention to detail is unsurpassed in our opinion. All deadlines were met or exceeded. Years later, after the completion, we had questions about some wear and he came to our home and had one of his workers correct the wear and gave suggestions to avoid it in the future. He's the BEST!

Dan remodeled my kitchen. He reconfigured the design to maximize the space and create a flow that matched my needs. His design is timeless and I continue to receive compliments years after completion. I also had the plumbing, fireplace and flooring redone.

Dan designed our addition that included a master bedroom, master bath, covered deck and laundry room. He made sure it looked like that portion had always been part of the original design rather than a tacked on structure. He also was very sensitive to include plenty of maneuvering space for a wheel chair in the bedroom and bathroom. And he remodeled our kitchen/pantry so that all the appliances were updated, walls removed for a more open space and new custom cabinets. Plus he replaced all of our wood decks to Ipe.

Dan has been our contractor of choice for over twenty years. The most recent project involved remaking a space at the rear of our garage into a beautiful, functional office that has become the most used room in our home. Prior to that, Dan completely remodeled our kitchen and our master bath/dressing area. We know we can count on Dan for his expertise in design and his experience in all aspects of construction. He and his crews have always been prompt and reliable, and his prices are fair. Moreover, we know that Dan will ensure that the finished product is customized to our requirements while adding his own creative flair.

Dan did our bedrooms and bathrooms quite a few years ago. Dan was great to work with. He understood exactly what the designer had in mind and produced it. We were extremely happy with the work and the workman. They were pleasant and professional. They started on time daily and left the house clean when they left. We almost missed them when the job finished. We are still happy with the results.

Dan Nesovic designed our kitchen remodel in the Fall of 2012. Dan contacted us and made an appointment to come to our home to learn about our project and to take measurements of our kitchen. Thus began a rather long and fruitful relationship. Dan's approach to a complex remodel job is to get to know his clients so he understands what they really want in the end product. Our remodel project was complicated because there were two very different options to consider. One involved maintaing the existing room configuration and the other required removing a part of an adjoining wall and reconfiguring the traffic flow of the kitchen. Both were possible and Dan drew up plans for each scenario. We held several meetings to discuss how either configuration would fit our personal preferences. In the end, to our surprise, we choose to stay with the existing configuration. This decision was directly related to our meetings with Dan. Dan would question our ideas and brought different perspectives to each plan. There were things we had not given thought to regarding our lifestyle and practical use of the space and it was a great opportunity for us to envision not only the end product but our use of the space as well. As of the writing of this review we have lived with our new kitchen for 4 years and are still overwhelming pleased with everything we had done. The details: Initially Dan proposed to do all the work, demolition, framing and drywall, electrical, plumbing and cabinetry. We had bids for several aspects of this job and Dan was flexible enough to allow us to use other tradesmen for some of these tasks. The other tradesmen were excellent workers and communicators and Dan worked seamlessly with them. Using other tradesmen simply meant more work for us as we had to perform the job of general contractor and keep everyone coordinated, a job maybe better left to Dan. We decided not to remove the wall and relocate the peninsula. We did raise the ceiling and worked with Dan on the design of the custom cabinets to fit our space. This was another interesting experience. My wife and I (and friends) built our own first home, a two story home. We built it from below the ground up (we even rented tractor and backhoe to dig the basement ourselves). I say this to give some feeling of what Dan had to deal with. He had to present ideas that sometimes were in contrast to tried and true building practices we had previously used. We had our disagreements and Dan and I could be both stubborn and persuasive. I found Dan to be very reasonable in defending his opinions and more often than not, after I consulted with independent builders I knew personally, his approach was the better. He allowed us to rigorously evaluate those things we were unsure of and would bend towards our preferences if we were not satisfied. This is what made for a great working relationship. Dan provided the custom cabinets, the Corian countertops and advised us on the extensive lighting plan allowing us to use premium lighting fixtures at affordable prices (his fixture vendor). Dan's installer was very personable, professional and capable. He is an asset because he could trouble shoot unexpected installation problems leaving the final cabinets fitting well and looking beautiful. The cabinets were made to fit our space with no wasted dead space behind (the pantry was full depth to the back wall whereas stock pantries are a standard depth leaving hidden unused dead space). Dan was not satisfied until the detail work was complete and even had to have some side panels remade to fit tighter because of the unevenness of our old walls. Dan worked within our time frame which was very extended due to some unexpected life changes. We started meeting with Dan in September of 2012 and work began in January 2013, completed in the middle of February 2013. He was patient with the longer delays between setting up the plan and actually executing the project and never seemed frustrated with us. This made the whole experience much easier to deal with.
Fast forward to 2017 and a remodel/update of our master bath. We brought Dan in to design and over see the project. Again, Dan was flexible with the various tasks involved with the project an I was able to do the demo, drywall repair and some simple construction. We included a lot of extras (an entire wall of linen closets) and worked thru these additions with the greatest of ease. I won't go into more detail because it would read the same as the kitchen upgrade above. As of this writing, all that is left to do is the counter/basin install (which is set for today). Overall I can sincerely give Dan Nesovic an enthusiastic recommendation.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, due to the age of the project (8 years old), we do not have the exact wall color or make/model of the wall sconces, as both were chosen, paid...
