He removed the popcorn ceiling and replaced it with the "orange peel" textured ceiling. They did an excellent job and are one of the cleanest contractors we have hired.

Justin and his crew at Lutgen did an outstanding job on my Kitchen and bathroom remodel. Six weeks prior to the work being done Justin came over to the house to give an estimate and suggestions. I received an estimate within one day of him coming over. I picked out tile and Justin ordered it, then he came over to pick out grout. The work was being done while I was on vacation so I left the project in Justin and his crews hands. When I came home from vacation I was more then pleased with the work that was done. I had a dishwasher installed, my toilet replaced, kitchen and bathroom tile floor put in. It was all done with attention to detail. The house was clean and everything was done perfectly. I would easily recommend Lutgen for any size of home repair or remodel.

We hired Lutgen Companies to help us demolish our old kitchen and build a new one. They did a fantastic job in taking care of all the details and overseeing the complete project. Justin was a great consultant for decisions on the cabinets, appliances, lighting and back splash. Our kitchen is beautiful!

I called Lutgen Co. because we get the best quality, service, professionalism, etc. from them. We've had Lutgen's for other jobs as well. Lutgen's always keep the appointed time when they say they are coming to house or meeting somewhere. I wanted the knowledge of Justin too because I wasn't sure what is "in" today. He came to house and gave us his recommendations, sent us a quote and basically did all the leg work for us. The kitchen remodel was done in no time at all from beginning to end. The other companies that Lutgen's do business with were also exceptional (plumber and cabinet people), and they were kind, friendly people and they all did great work. When the job was completed (which only took 3 1/2 hours) Justin cleaned the room as if no work had even been done. It was awesome!! Also the cabinet guys cleaned up outside from their sawing, etc. We LOVE the kitchen. Again, Justin was the best. Besides being knowledgeable about the product and end result of our kitchen, he is just a super nice guy. He is a true ASSET to Lutgen Co.

Lutgen Companies completed multiple repair and remodeling projects over the last year and a half and I am pleased with every aspect. Outside, Lutgen's crews repaired siding and roof, painted house and fence, replaced sofits and windows, and added gutters. Inside, my basement was completely refurbished - popcorn ceiling and paneling removed, insulation and sheetrock added, fresh paint, and flooring. A cold, outdated bedroom was also refreshed. The largest project revamped the main level of the home. It included taking out a wall to eliminate the formal dining and living area and created an open concept kitchen, dining and living space. Again - popcorn ceiling removed, wood fireplace removed due to cracked chimney, walls changed, new cabinets, flooring, paint, lights, bathroom, - a whole new footprint. Lastly, an unused office was converted into an exercise room. The crew at Lutgen Companies did an amazing job. Lutgen and their colleagues are competent, courteous, timely, and efficient. No problem passing any inspections. Justin Nelson led the projects and did an outstanding job planning and executing each one. His great attitude, creative vision, product knowledge, and honest input proved invaluable. Justin and the crew are great communicators and fantastic problem solvers. They have been doing this for a long time and their suggestions made complete sense. I'm happy I followed their advice. My home had good bones but was very tired and in need of repair. Now I LOVE my home. Thank you to the whole crew! I strongly recommend Lutgen Companies and will definitely hire them for any future project.

The residing of our home is the third job completed by the Lutgen Companies since we relocated to the St. Cloud area in 2012, first they installed an egress window and second, they added a bathroom in the basement; Justin Nelson was instrumental in the two major projects. Based on previous experience, we went with Justin’s recommendations – Klauer steel siding, a LeafFree gutter system, two Anderson 4000 Series storm doors, and a Manion steel entry door. Then it was time to decide on style and color; we made the final choices but Justin helped by providing actual siding, color samples, and addresses of homes that used combinations we were considering. He also gave us photographs and diagrams. On Wednesday we were notified that the installation crew would begin work on Monday at 7:00 a.m. They arrived en masse; each man knew his task and worked diligently for four days. Their work day ended at 5:00 and equipment was neatly stacked and a concerted effort was made each day to pick up construction debris. Luke, the crew foreman answered our questions and explained why things were a certain way; for example, the existence of a horizontal seam in the board and batten siding and the use of ventilated panels in the portico. He also gave us time to consider changing the use of three colors on the garage. The Lutgen Companies took care of the building code requirements – obtaining the permit and meeting with the building inspector. There were decisions to made along the way but the process was well-organized, efficient and timely. We highly recommend Justin, Luke, and the Lutgen Companies.

Lutgen Companies recently completed remodeling our living room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. We chose Lutgen Companies based on the excellent job they did in 2011 replacing our deck, walkway, and front porch with composite decking materials. They have, once again, proven they are the best. Justin, from the start, has taken charge as project manager and made certain the new Cambria quartz kitchen countertops, flooring in 3 rooms, carpet, painting, and refacing of our fireplace all look beautiful. Sean Lutgen even stopped in to view the excellent work and to help move furniture back into our home. Karen and I will definitely recommend Lutgen Companies.

Lutgen's recently converted our 1957 "tub" bathroom to a modern shower bathroom. We have been very pleased with their work and attention to detail. During the project there were necessary plumbing updates that needed to be made that would affect the space in our downstairs bathroom. Justin Nelson was creative and efficient with a solution that minimized the impact to the downstairs bathroom. During the project we were informed of schedule of what was happening each day. As we added extra projects, such as overhauling the hall closet, painting bedrooms, replacing door knobs, we were given a realistic time to complete the projects. Justin treated our home with care for details like it was his own home. When Justin found a tiny chip in the new shower base, he called in a expert from All Surface Professionals to mend it, magically there is no hint of the repair. During the project we always felt our home was secure having Lutgen's crew coming and going. We are pleased we chose Lutgen's for our project, they did an awesome job and stayed on or under budget for every project..

We have used Lutgen for several jobs at our home. Lutgen did some extensive work after storm damage as well. Justin has been great to work with, he has provided us with accurate estimates, completed the jobs in agreed times. This is a quality company and one that I will use whenever the needs arise.

Justin of Lutgen Companies was amazing. He was very professional and always friendly! He has an extensive construction background which was beneficial to completeing our kitchen, living room and dining room remodeling job as well as our exterior siding, window, roofing and deck with screened in addition. Lutgen completed a full kitchen remodel that included taking down walls and redefining our kitchen area. They also resided my house and replaced a window and sliding door. From the very start of the project Lutgen did a great job of keeping us informed of their plan and progress. Everyone on the jobsite was very friendly and respectful. Each evening we were left with a clean work environment that allowed us to continue enjoying the rest of our home during the construction.
