Excellent experience with McCarter-Moorhouse who built a custom home for us in a challenging location in the central Idaho mountains. He responded to our questions promptly and addressed issues promptly. From initial excavation to final roof/siding, his crews were experienced and took pride in their work. Project completed on budget.

Building a home or business is a stressful experience. Dave has made the process an absolute pleasure. He is easy to work with and always knows the answers to our questions or gets them in a timely fashion. From design through the permitting process Dave has guided us through with grace! When we came up with a bad idea, Dave was not afraid to tell us and give us solid options. When deciding on a builder, it is imperative that the number one condition of relationship is TRUST. My husband and I used McCarter-Moorhouse to design and build our custom home in 2012. Dave and his wife were wonderful to work with! I was concerned I would not be able to make decisions in a timely manner and that the project would take too long. They said four months from start to finish and they delivered. They helped us stay on budget, and achieve a dream we never thought would become a reality. If you have a chance to work with this company, do not hesitate! Hire them. You won't regret the decision.
