So happy with the work that Ben, Freddy, Edwin, Paulina, and Claudia did remodeling my kitchen. This was my first major renovation, so I was a little nervous going in, but I felt like I was in good hands after the initial meetings with Ben. He listened to what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions and wasn’t pushy about them, and came prepared with a detailed plan, work schedule, and payment timelines. All the work Freddy and Edwin did was incredible - from demo to finishing touches. They were friendly and professional, answered any questions that I had, worked so quickly, and treated my home with respect. The quality of their work is outstanding. Pricing was a little lower than the other quotes I got, but in the same range. Work was completed ahead of schedule and only slightly over quoted price after I made some changes and the city inspector required additional circuits be added. I’m thrilled with my new kitchen and all the work from the team at My Home Builders!

We recently completed a year-long, top-to-bottom remodel of our home, and it’s hard to put into words just how thrilled we are. Our house was transformed completely, down to the studs, and the results have exceeded every expectation we had. Before starting, my wife and I were honestly apprehensive. We’d heard countless horror stories from friends and family about remodeling projects gone wrong—contractors disappearing with money, timelines doubling or tripling, and unexpected costs piling up. Thankfully, our experience with My Home Builders was the complete opposite. From day one, the entire process was smooth, transparent, and professional. Communication was nothing short of exceptional. Every step of the remodel was explained to us in detail, leaving no room for confusion or surprises. We were fortunate to have Mina as our dedicated project manager, and she was an absolute gem. Mina kept in touch with us daily—sometimes multiple times a day—making sure we were comfortable and informed at every turn. It was almost a year from start to finish for a garage conversion to an ADU. The foreman, Marcelo, told me they’d need to dig a trench from the back yard, down my driveway and front yard for the sewer line. He told me it would only be 3 to 4 days, and he assured he’d take photos of my garden so they could put it back as it was. As weeks passed, plants that had survived initially, died buried under trench dirt, irrigation lines broken and tangled everywhere. When I complained that I couldn’t charge my car for weeks, Marcelo lectured me that I shouldn’t have bought an electric car. It was 8 weeks before they filled the trench. Marcelo told me that the bathroom tile I had chosen would fail. Three tile supply companies assured me it was a high-quality ceramic tile, but MHB said they’d only install it if I paid another $1,800 and signed a waiver not to hold them responsible. Two tile suppliers with twenty years in the business said, ‘they’re trying to rip you off.’ MHB agreed to remove the tile work from my contract so I could hire another installer. They installed my valve upside down, put my doors on backwards, left my hose on and flooded my side yard, forgot my stove was electric and installed a gas line, then had to break through the walls to fix it. Their guy marked up the quartz slab price over 200% and cut it with next to my fishpond which left a coating of silica dust on the pond and all the plants around it. With MHB, you have to buy everything yourself and have it delivered. They tell you this allows you to choose what you want, but what it feels like is, learn to be a builder. You have to research plumbing valves and p-traps, you have to find out the standard height of light switches because they will place them at random heights and blame you for not noticing that the switches were 4” below normal where they’d be blocked by your furniture, and you better learn a lot about stucco because their contract says not to expect it to look like the existing stucco when they’re done. I caught the foreman lying about the stucco, trying to get a standard color instead of the one I had color matched, so MHB agreed to remove stucco from the contract, and I hired a professional to do that work as well. Invoices repeatedly sent ‘upon completion’ when they were not complete. Crew wouldn’t show up for days when they said they’d be there. They treated my property badly. I have security videos of them washing their tools in my fishpond and blowing snot into my fishpond. I told the office I didn’t want Marcelo on my property after all his lies about the trench, the tile, and the stucco, but it didn’t matter what I said. Bryan said, “As we cannot go based on "he said, she said" situation for Marcelo to be removed from your project - at this point I am unable to unilaterally remove him,” so he stayed on my project until the end. I wrote to Roi Maor, the owner of the company several times, because I thought he should know, but he never once responded.

MY Home Builders recently completed a bathroom remodel for us, and the results are fantastic. They were extremely professional and maintained excellent communication from start to finish. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship is second to none. The team was quick, clean, and very polite, completing the project on time and on budget. Never knew how much work it was to do a remodel not to mention a full remodel with a ADU. Danny was one of the seven contractors I had coming to my house to give me an estimate and the only one I trusted and made me feel like I would be well taken care of. The project started in December and I was told it would be a six to seven months project. Danny stood by his word and my home is simply beautiful. The ADU that was built for my mother is awesome. Everyone was so helpful. The Foreman, Julio was so sweet and helpful. The staff talked with me as if I was a family member, making sure I was alright at all times. Couldn’t help but love all of them. To be honest, the renovation project and process and working with a contractor scared me a lot going into it. But, I have to say that working with Sam and Matthew, and their team of Maya, Loyo, and Javier and their crew a great experience. Sam and Matthew put together a beautiful open floor plan for my new kitchen and living room area and two new bathrooms. Sam and the My Home Builders had three (3) areas of excellence: (1) Great tools and communication. My Home Builders provided a website tool to track phases of the project where all project documents and agreements are stored and to track billing so everything is paid on time. Sam was very on top of things and was accessible by text or phone. Matthew was also very accessible for questions about project cost and change questions. They along with the rest of the team were very supportive when issues came up and helped resolve them in a timely manner. 
(2) The vendors they worked with were kind, professional, and had excellent quality. The tile design team at International Tile provided amazing design service and great prices. Eddie and Jen Hardwood Flooring fixed the problematic and uneven floor, and provided a great selection of hardwood flooring and great service. Victor and AV&V team who installed the master bathroom glass doors were great to work with and friendly and accommodating to my often erratic schedule. (3) Maya, Loyo, and Javier and their framing, drywall, plumbing, electrical, painting, and woodworking teams did quality work and were responsive to questions or issues that came up during the process, and made great recommendations for design elements or use of various hardware for doors or in the bathroom or kitchen. Their tile installer did such good quality work in the kitchen and bathrooms, as it is the highlight of the project. The demolition process was quick and painless. The framing and drywall process was also smooth. Sam made very good recommendations throughout the project, including replacing the plumbing, electrical, and the interior and closet doors, along with his recommendation on materials from tile and flooring vendors. The My Home Builders team handles problems and difficulties very well. Service after the project is good as their team provided checks and adjustments after project completion. During the most recent rains, there was a leak in the roof in the new section where the old chimney and his team took care of it and fixed it immediately and checked if the leak caused any other issues. My Home Builders team (Matthew, Sam, Maya, Loyo, Javier and the rest of the team) was a pleasure to work with. The Covid-19 pandemic made a typical renovation project which has its challenges under normal circumstances even more challenging but the My Home Builders team made the project and process as smooth as it could be. I would work with the My Home Builders team on another project in the future. My personal thanks to Sam for all that he did!!

We bought a fixer-upper home that required a significant amount of work (kitchen, moving walls, bathroom renovations, etc.). Danny has been thoughtful throughout the entire process providing guidance not only on the aesthetics of the renovations, but really touching on the nuts and bolts of the house (plumbing, electrical, etc.) to make sure we don't have to make significant repairs in the near future. Danny also has been great working with the different people and companies involved getting a fair price for quality goods on cabinetry, flooring, and demo work. We had our master bathroom remodeled. They were awesome! The project manager Edoe was personable, honest and reliable. The project from start to finish went as planned. The workers were punctual, professional and polite. Steps were always taken to ensure a clean and safe environment. We love our bathroom.

Less than a year after this company did my kitchen and bathroom the paint flaked off all the white cabinets, the recessed lighting they installed in the ceiling lost connection and stopped working, pieces that should be secured down came undone, paint bubbled on moulding they'd done, and tile cracked where they'd installed a fixture with uneven pressure. They played games and gave me the run around about fixing these things until we were out of the one year warranty and then said they wouldn't fix it because the warranty had expired. I argued with them that I had alerted them of the problems within the warranty and then they started giving me additional costs that I'd have to pay out of my own pocket in order to get them to fix these things. During the job itself there were numerous mistakes, and every time something had to be redone it was at my cost on material. An entire kitchen wall was tiled unevenly and when I brought it to their attention I got stuck with the cost of purchasing more tile. A week after the bathroom faucets were installed, water started leaking out of my wall. On top of that, the job ran one month for every week they quoted it would take to finish. The entire process was a nightmare and after 150K on a bathroom and kitchen remodel with this company and one year's time I have no overhead lighting and my cabinets look worse than before they started the job. They are crooks and to this day I am still trying to get these items fixed.

I highly recommend using MY Home Builders Inc. Although my family and I worked specifically with Edoe Barzilay, the entire team worked with us throughout our home project. The entire team worked collaboratively to answer any questions we had. When Edoe was not available, Matthew was. When I had questions regarding a design element, the owner Omri personally stopped by to discuss solutions. This company has great communication skills. I also liked that they shared various ideas regarding material options. It is important to note that our job started right at the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown and the team met with us via Zoom to review our blueprints. Omri and Edoe met with us and explained the various sections of the blueprints that we needed to understand. They were patient and answered ALL of our questions. In addition, the work they completed on my house was executed flawlessly. Throughout the process neighbors stopped by my house to comment on how much they liked the work that was done. Many neighbors told me how they watched the workers each day and how impressed they were by their patience and attention to detail. Finally, although it has been a month since completion...I am still receiving compliments on the work and remarks on how smoothly the work was completed. My family and I are extremely pleased with the results of our project. Please call and ask for Edoe, he is the BEST!

I called them and spoke with Ron a bunch to get a quote for the plans I already had. I wasn't confident about the pricing I got from my original contractor so I spoke with Ron about my situation and he was very accommodating. You can tell that they do honest work and don't over charge for things that shouldn't be overcharged. The only reason I wasn't able to go with him was because it would be pain for me to get out of my current signed contract with someone else, but definitely gave me the peace of mind I needed. I would highly consider them for future projects. Thanks, Ron.

Our old bathroom was in serious need of a renovation and I didn't have any personal recommendations for a contractor; we lucked out when Danny G came to interview. I liked Danny's friendly, straightforward manner, devoid of slickness or hard sell; he has been consistent throughout the project. His considerable work experience was obvious as he walked me through the process. Danny G spent the time in the planning stage to find out what I wanted and discussed ideas that would work with the space. This is important: he is not the designer, he is the builder and will tell you what is structurally possible. Once a plan is agreed upon, he and his crew do the work but the client selects and obtains the necessary fixtures, tile, paint color, etc. He has resources to help, but you should have a good idea of what you want or consider getting a designer. On the business end, once I committed to the job, the contract was clear, covering a schedule of payments and stages. Danny kept me up to date with what he needed from my end and when his crew was going to be on site; they come on time and work diligently. What a great combination: an experienced contractor with great people skills who wants you to be happy with the job and wants to make it as pleasant and easy as possible for the client. He's been there for my every question and issue and gets back to me right away. I'm impressed by Danny's team, all very professional people who do excellent, clean work while treating the area with respect; there's not one guy working in my house that I wouldn't have back (we are all on lockdown at home due to the pandemic). I'm impressed by the beautiful work that is being done and how creative and collaborative this team is. So to summarize: I found an honest, personable, skilled contractor backed by a wonderful team of professionals who are doing what they promised, no games here. The work is beautiful and well constructed with fine attention to detail. I feel supported if any questions come up and absolutely admire the way that they do business. The prices are fair and I feel that I have good value and guidance. I'm very happy with Danny G and MY Home Builders Inc (including the staffers at the home office) and wouldn't go looking anywhere else for my future projects.

We selected My Home Builders by using Houzz. They gave us several companies, which they set up the first telephone contacts. It made getting referrals quite nice when you do not have any idea who to call for a large remodel on your home. In the end after meeting with a few companies and doing homework on each we chose My Home Builders. Everything via online looked stellar. When we met with Danny, we immediately felt comfortable with him. He has put up with us calling him at all hours, even weekends for our many questions and when hiccups have happened. Danny gets right back to us and understands how important it is to us, being our home. Danny set us up with a cabinet company, whose price was fabulous and looks amazing. He also got us a great deal with a fabricator company that did our quartz counter top. Denny, the foreman, and his crew are all really nice guys. They have transformed our master bathroom into a luxurious oasis. The downstairs shower was also gutted and redone. It was done specifically for the parents when they visit. They absolutely loved it! A few electrical miscellaneous items were done as well. As I mentioned hiccups, I won't lie, there has been a few, but that is to be expected. One was regarding the grout in the downstairs bathroom floor. Don't quite understand the grouting color mishaps, but in the end Denny and his guys stood by and made it right. Another one was the cabinet company did not make the cabinet to the correct specifications, causing it to not line up with the already installed lighted medicine cabinets above the sinks and the lights that were correctly installed above the plumbing. To prevent having to have the cabinet completely removed and a long wait time in remaking the cabinet, Denny's crew removed the lighted medicine and light reinstalled to line up with the cabinet's sink which were not line up in the design. The end results from Denny's crew made it look beautiful. correctly. They came on a Sunday, when the bedroom below the master bathroom had water pouring out of the ceiling. Denny found the problem and began removing the bedroom's ceiling. The problem was a bad weld on faucet valve stem that took a few days to spring a leak. 100% not their mistake. The faucet company was amazing too, they sent us a replacement and is going to cover the cost of the damage. My Home Builders totally stepped up to the plate to fix the room for us. So grateful especially since they had it done in time for our son to use the room before his visit, in under a week. Danny, the project manager; Pauline, the office manger and Denny, the foreman, all are great set of people to remodel your home. We love how our bathrooms came out!!!

My Home Builders stepped in and worked on our home when we lost our previous contractor. They were a team of professionals who worked with our budget and ensured that we were happy with our results. Within the span of a year, Yaron and Roy became our extended family. They were attentive and quick to answer any questions or concerns that we had. We recently had MHB renovate our family room and bathroom. They were done in the time frame promised and on budget. Danny, Denys and Pauline were great and very attentive. I am an architect and very picky when it comes to contractors especially for my own house. They were professional and responsive when we had questions and changes. The remodel turned out much better than expected and we will definitely use them again for all our future work.

My Home Builders did a fantastic job on our remodel! We had walls blown out to create more ‘openness’ in the design, a complete kitchen remodel, and a new room added. We were way more than impressed with their professionalism, design expertise, the high quality of their subcontractors, their dedication to keep the project moving at a great pace (subs showed up when they said they would!), and their pledge to stay on budget! Yaron, Johnny and Ronen are just the best. They walked us through the project with patience, and explained everything we needed to know well ahead of when we needed to know it. When we had our first meeting with Yaron, he got where we were headed right away, had fantastic design suggestions, and within about a half an hour had computer design suggestions on his laptop that ended up being most of what we ended up with! Johnny dropped by regularly to see how things were going, always wanting to make sure we were happy and had all our questions answered. And Ronen the on-site forman/project manager (not sure those are correct titles, but you get the idea) did lots of heavy lifting every single day keeping crews busy, and making sure we knew what was coming up next and how to prepare for it. I can’t tell you what a great job he did keeping things moving, answering questions, solving problems, and helping us stay on budget! We interviewed 6 contractors before deciding on My Home Builders. Man, did we luck out! If you’re looking for professionalism, honesty, integrity, and just a terrific team of people to do your project… don’t even think about it… hire them!

Excellent company. They nearly re-built our entire house. We had them remodel the floors, walls, foundation, light, electrical, walls plumbing and bathroom. They used quality materials throughout. The process was as quick as possible. Our project manager was there every step of the way and made the whole experience painless.

I found out about MYHB thru a co worker. We had plans made by an architect to build an ADU and reached out to them for a bid. Pricing was fair, service was great and construction was well performed on schedule to passed all city inspections. Concerns and changes always come up, but they handle it with a smile. My husband and I bought an old 1909 craftsman and our goal was to preserve the integrity of the house while still making it feel new and our own. From the start, Yaron completely envisioned what we were going for and his team - Johnny and Mika - were truly excellent to work with on a daily basis. Johnny made sure to keep us informed every step of the way, he and Mika helped us make creative decisions and the whole crew finished our project on deadline! Excellent. Pure excellence. From the start to the end, and through the long journey in between, My Home Builders constantly held themselves to an unparalleled level of excellence. When we started the construction process, Yaron was one of a handful of people we met with. From the beginning, my husband and I immediately felt that his talent and eye for design was impeccable. He gave us new ideas on the spot and immediately started sketching new ideas on his computer. We were blown away by his flexibility, insight, and vision. Other contractors and design-build firms told us the limitations or told us they would get back to us in a few weeks. From that first meeting (and through the entire process), Yaron truly listened to what we wanted and made it a reality. Our project was not simple, and not cheap. We completely gutted our kitchen, took down a load bearing wall in a two story house, moved the laundry room, changed a powder room into a full bathroom, redid a fireplace, added and moved doors and windows, and installed new tile in the entire downstairs. We actually stalled for quite a long time after our first meeting with Yaron, not because of our lack of confidence with him, but because we needed to be sure that we wanted to spend this much money and time on the remodel - our budget was $180K and the timeline was to be 4 months. Once we knew that we wanted to proceed, the decision for My Home Builders was ultimately because of the feeling that we had when Yaron took us on a tour of some of his recently finished projects. We met some of his clients and each of them had such a good relationship with Yaron. To me, that was telling of how the client was being treated and heard during the construction process. My fear in construction (based on multiple friends’ stories) was that we would hire a contractor who would then leave us mid-way through the project or ask for more money to make the plans happen. We decided that day that My Home Builders would be our choice of company, not only because of the design and vision, but more importantly, because of the integrity of the person in charge. Our process was a long one, and, as it seems always happens in construction, we did have some problems and changes. We were constantly kept updated and felt that we could trust what the Project Manager and workers were explaining to us. Yaron and the Project Managers were always available to chat and calm us down. Our story wouldn’t be complete without the bad news. Just as we were about to finish the project, a huge problem happened that set us back quite a bit. It was disheartening to all, and, in the end, came at quite a large expense. My Home Builders worked hard to fix it and repair and replace everything. Knowing that it was their mistake, they never once blamed us or expected us to pay for anything - they made sure that everything was perfect and they spent lots of their own money making that happen. We used My Home builders to build a master suite on to our house and remodel the kitchen. Yaron and His team lead Alek, Are excellent general contractors who know how to keep a schedule and a budget. Always cordial knowledgeable and to the point. The vast majority of their workers and sub contractors are outstanding, and these gentlemen are always available for a questions phone calls and changes. After the completion they were available for touch ups even 2 months later, which to me is the type of service that sets them apart. The results reflect great craftsmanship and attention. We highly recommend them and will use them again.

We consulted with Yaron Yashar before starting a complete renovation of a two-story home in Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village. Ours was a pretty extensive project -- we were removing load-bearing walls and reconfiguring some spaces -- and Yaron's input was incredibly on the mark. He came across as extremely friendly, competent, and professional. We also valued his creativity and willingness to challenge our own thinking in a friendly and respectful way. Yaron has lots of experience, and he could easily pull up examples of of similar work that he had done on other homes in the Los Angeles area. He could quickly interpret our architect's plans and understood the local building codes that could impact our project. Finally, he was always very flexible, meeting us at our home on weekday evenings, which made our lives so much easier. My wife and I both know that our project is in much better shape because we incorporated Yaron's ideas and advice!

MY home builders were referred to us by our friends who did an extensive remodel with them in 2015. Interviewing contractors with different agendas and business practices can be a very tiring process, so their proffesional and on point approach were highly appreciated. The project included adding 500sqft off the back for an additional master suite, remodeling the kitchen and baths, replacing all windows and doors and painting interior and exterior. These guys are pros at their craft, as well as very easy-going and comfortable to work with. They have great advice for design, a great knowledge of city codes and requirements and make you feel like you're their only client. I must mention it wasn't the cheapest bid we recieved, bit definitely the one we felt the most confident with. Luckily we were not disappointed.

We recently completed two bathroom remodel projects with My Home Builders and every single person, starting with our Project Manager, Sharon On was at the top of their game! We have all either had prior experiences with or listened to conversations where a friend, family member or co-worker was remodeling and it turned into disappointment. For us, My Home Builders did everything they said they would. Sharon was proactive, patient, imaginative and smart! She knows her business. Our Experience with my home builders was very pleasant. After being referred to them by our lender who had previous business with them, we decided to meet with Roy to discuss remodeling our four bathrooms. They are very businesslike, to the point,very reliable and attentive, most of all they have great workmanship. We are truly happy with the look of our newly renovated home. After a few months of drawing and approving plans by our architect we chose MY Home Builders to perform our construction project, that included adding 500sqft, a new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, and pretty much facelifting the entire rest of the house. Roy and Yaron took their time in preparing and planning the project down to the last detail. We value their work and business ethics and always felt cared for and properly handled. These guys will always take your calls and emails, always address your concerns, and will make sure you are satisfied. We had 6 weeks to get our newly purchased home ready for move in. Yaron and his team were able to deliver! Kitchen and bath remodeling, interior paint, and a new roof. My Home Builders is definitely a solid, honest, and profesional construction company. We interviewed different contractors for our major remodeling project and found them the most suitable. 650sqft of an addition to the front of the house including reconfiguring the entire floor plan, adding a bathroom, enlarging the living room and creating a brand new kitchen. New roof new paint and new windows were also re done. Permits took under 2 months to obtain with their team of engineers and construction took roughly 5 months. Changes and delays always take place on projects of this size but they handle all of it with care. I much appreciate their overall approach and of course the final result is stunning. When spending nearly 300k (with finishes and appliances) you need to feel the value, and feel well treated. We absolutely do.

Yaron and his MYHB team did a complete remodel and addition to our house. We had multiple contractors give us bids, and Yaron's was in the middle. We chose to go with him as he was the most professional and honest. He is very knowledgeable and that is important in getting an accurate estimate. Also, he completed the project on time - as promised. I think anyone who has been involved with a construction project knows that issues will come up during the project. With Yaron, you can be rest assured he will work hard to make sure any of those issues are addressed quickly and within the project's budget (if possible). In terms of the finished project, we are very happy with the results. The 333 sq ft addition looks great, and is seamless with the house. No one can actually tell it is an addition and that we expanded one side of the entire house out, and my doing that we were able to add a bathroom, laundry room, and expand the size of the bedrooms. We gathered a few referrals from friends to find a contractor for expending our detached garage/ storage and back yard artificial grass on our home. After meeting with 3 companies, my wife and I felt the most comfortable with Roy's personable approach and professionalism. His partner Yaron joined for the next meeting and explained all the ins and outs. The process started in early October , and ended by December 22nd their team of architects and engineers had plans stamped and approved by the city. The project included adding 160sqft storage to detached garage including plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, foundation sidings and more... and 1000sqft of artifical grass including iragation system and the entire back yard gardening. Like any major project, changes were made along the way and a few hick ups arose, but everything was taken care of promptly and courteously. Workers were here every day and did great work at a great pace. The office always updated us on the progress and answered our every question. The 3 main guys : Roy Yaron and their foreman Uri, were always attentive and caring. Roy will always promptly take care of your every concern, and Yaron just has the best eye for design, fixtures finishes and styles. He was even kind enough to let us work directly with his vendors at his wholesale prices, which saved us a bunch of money. The results are beautiful and we feel confident that they have our back if we ever need them for questions concerns or repairs. We will gladly recommend them, and have actually already introduced them to our neighbor. Don't start your project without AT LEAST consulting with them first!

I hired "My Home Builders" to do a full interior rennovation of our home. They did the most amazing job!! Yaron Yashar is an amazing contract. He has vision and came up with suggestions I could have never dreamed up. The estimate was right on and they didn't go over budget. Finding quality pros you can trust and appreciate is not a given. Thats why my wife and I feel very lucky to have met Roy and his team. From the initial estimate we felt he was our guy, and thru the entire process of our major remodel his staff and crew were always at the top of their game. The place looks amazing, and their service is second to none.

I was nervous at first to hire any contractors because of the horror stories you hear. Believe it or not I randomly chose this company from The Home Improvement Catalog. I was sold to this company when my husband and I met Yaron (Owner of My Home Builders). He seemed meticulous and detailed, and you could tell he really cared about his company and doing great work. This is why we hired him and I also liked that you paid him in installments and only when they passed inspections. We did a approximate 500 square foot addition which included a master bedroom, with bathroom, and laundry room with a walk in closet. He quoted us less money then other contractors did and he included more work. It is true what they say, things do come up and problems occur. For example, we had and old house with original old wire electrical and our attic caught fire in the beginning of the project on a hot July day. The cause of the fire was determined to be caused by the old electrical wiring. Yaron acted more like a lawyer instead of a contractor when the insurance adjuster had the meeting about the damage to the attic. Side note, luckily we had ADT fire sensors which automatically called the fire department to put out the fire early before any real damage was done (we were lucky). Yaron helped us get probably double the amount of money we were supposed to receive on our claim. (Yaron gave the insurance adjuster such a hard time that he pretty much agreed to Yaron's quote to fix the damage.) We used that money to redo all the electrical in the house. He finished the project in about 3 and half months including new electrical on the whole house. Also, he had his foreman named Ben over see the project and take care of all the day to day operations. Ben always answered his phone when ever we had even a small question. They are an organized company with integrity which I can't tell you how important that is to us. At the end, I would hire him again because they delivered a quality product. Coming soon pictures of finished bathroom.

We hired My Home Builders when we got our house to redo the kitchen and the kids bathroom. We were very happy with the design and the help we got to put everything together. Yaron helped us choosing everything before we even started the project. Great service and fast execution. We bought a old house in tarzana that needed tons of work. Yaron came over (from a recommendation) and sketch us the new and improved layout. In the first meeting we know he's our guy. He promised that the remodel will take about 8 weeks witch we complete it in 9 weeks (after we added more work) he helped us with color choosing and fine details. I originally met with My Home Builders to have a smaller closet project done in our bedroom. Once I met with Gabriel, we started discussing the possibility of getting our completely wrecked old 2nd bath and Landry room redone. At the time I wasn't expecting being able to accomplish that big project anytime soon. However he came up with really smart solutions to cut costs and still have the amazing result I wanted. They were so great at working with in our budget and finding way to get the project done beautifully. They always stayed with in the time they quoted to get the project done as well as helped through any unexpected issues that may arise. Both Gabriel and Jessie have the patients and resolve of a saint for the amount of weekend texts they got from this confused house wife standing in a Home Depot. Never complained once and made the process so so much easier for me. Sometimes I thought they were more concern about the end result than I was! There's no doubt My Home Builders care about your project as much as you do and deliver the same quality they'd expect in their own homes. There was never a moment where they weren't available to help me or answer my questions. I'm so very happy about the whole process. Both areas they worked on have turned out absolutely perfect. We had the pleasure of completeing our home renovation with MY Home Builders this year. They were recommended by a neighboor who has worked them in the past. Their proffesionalism and workmanship are top notch, but the personable care and attention really mattered to us the most. I have used their service from Dec 28th, 2015 to May 25th, 2016 for a master bedroom addition and complete house remodeling (kitchen, existing bathroom, existing bed rooms and living room) Interview/evaluation. I first know of My Home Builders from Yelps. They have about 25 reviews and all of them are positive. I called to make an appointment. The owner came to my house a few days later. He asked very detail questions. For example, I say I want to paint the interior of the house, he then asks me how many colors that I plan to paint, does the paint job include the ceiling, doors, baseboard trims etc. Some I haven’t thought in my initial plan. Quote/estimate. I have received a quote with detail description for the jobs with a total bidding amount. It also includes a payment plan. You might have difficulty to compare the bidding with My Home Builders’ if you make some small changes in between the bidding. Because quote from My Home Builders does not itemize with a price list, say, each interior door (32”X 80”) will cost you $XXX. It also make it hard to answer the questions when I show off the final remodeling results to my friends. They ask how much is the kitchen when all I have is the estimate for the wholesome projects. Even with the detail description on the jobs, a lot of them are redundant to the regular customers. (They are probably important to the architects or engineers). For example, do I really care about stating putting stud 16” apart to make a wall? Probably not. That is the reason I hire the professional to do the jobs. As a customer, I am more interested in what is included and what is not up front. For example, the quote mentions of installing 4’ x 6’ double panel slide vinyl windows. What it does not say is the brand of the windows. I have 7 windows installed during the whole remodeling projects. I ended up with two brands (Milgard and Jeld-Wen), three different panel locks (leveler, push buttons, clamps). If overall consistency is what you are looking for, you may want to ask more details on each tasks before you sign the contract. Contractors/crews. There are basically two kinds of contractors. A handyman/business owner who is also working the jobs on site (he may have his helpers or getting day-labors from Home Depot), or a central office that guides its teams or subcontractors. My Home Builders, Inc belongs to later. I don’t verify if the crews from My Home Builders are subcontractors but I do saw some crew members drive trucks with other company’s logo. However, when I ask more tasks on the site and offering additional payment upfront, they are still asking me to pay directly to the office. Regardless if there is subcontractor or not, the craftsmanship is outstanding. One thing deal with central office style is that every job instruction has to come from the office. Even if you are on the job site and want to make some demands/modifications, the crews will very politely decline and ask you to call the office to get the request approved, which may be frustrating sometimes as the project manager may be out of reach when you needed the most. Permits. The company loves to have permits from top executives to the bottom crews. They do respect my decision not to submit permit application on one of the tasks. Referral. There are some tasks that they don’t do and instead, I will get a referral. I have tried three from their recommendation: Low voltage wiring, HVAC and shower glass doors. Some are good, some are not so great. Some are good bargain, some are overpriced. Overall, you still need to look out for a good deal by reaching out. Communication. This is probably their weakest link. Because this is an office in central control, every communication has to pass from the project manager, to the foreman, to the crew team leader, and finally to the workers. I have some incidents that they are doing the jobs wrong. For examples, I have completely rearranged the kitchen sink/stove locations. But when the plumber came, he simply replaced the existing pipes because he didn’t receive the correct kitchen layout plan. Fortunately, a few phone calls/txts correct the issues. But it was a stressful situation. Progression. One of the best strength of My Home Builders. Crews work 6 days a week (exclude holidays) once I signed the contract. Sometimes, I will have 6~7 members working on different tasks on the same day. Considering that they have 12 projects (or 12 job sites) when I sign mine, this is very impressive. For comparison, there is another home remodeling project in my neighborhood with similar scale (master bedroom addition, complete kitchen/whole house remodeling). It started two months before I started mine. As for now, almost two months after My Home Builders finished my project, it still hasn’t completed. Responding time. Depending on the urgency of the requests, or questions, the responding time can be immediately, or a few days later either by phone, txt or email from the project manager. In addition, the receptionist is always there to take my phone calls and take notes. Interestingly, the voice mail on the project manager’s cell phone is full when I tried to leave a message. I choose txt and email anyway. Extra Cost. One of the most uncontrollable expenses is the hidden cost associated with the extra requests during the contract. Because without competition, the constructor can ask whatever the price they want. As for My Home Builders, the price stays reasonable. I had asked adding more tasks during the remodeling: Tank-less water heater, ceiling wall re-enforcement and electric panel relocation. These three increase the budget up to $16.6 K which is about 11% over the estimate. One of the good strength that My Home Builders have is that they don’t charge on small requests. For example, if you sign up an electric project and want to add, say one more electric outlet, change ceiling fan etc., during the process, most likely they will agree to do it without additional cost. However, they will not do Ikea assembling, just in case if you have some PAX closet system purchase like me and want to get it installed. Payment. The project manager will inform me about payment depending on the progress. The payment plan is not on fixed installments. Rather, it depends on when a specific task has been started/completed. The payment amount varies as well. At the end of last payment, which is listed as passing final inspection, I receive a complementary fruit basket as a token of appreciation. Follow-up. As the office like my design, a professional photographer is hired to take the final pictures. A complete walk-through follows a few days later. I was suggested to write a review, which I am glad to do so. Conclusion. In my opinion, DIY probably is the best thing you can do because you can control every step on the projects and all will be done precisely according to your plans… if you know the codes, handy enough and have the time. Besides DIY, My Home Builders come very close. There are some small projects may be more suitable for DIY, but for big projects like complete home remodeling or room addition, I will give my recommendation. The final craftsmanship is outstanding. The quality/price index are excellent (they are not cheap but reasonable).

Repeat client alert! This is a glowing review of my second time working with Sharon at My Home Builders. This year I had my kitchen remodeled and the process was so easy with the My Home team. I think it says a lot about a company that we worked with the same foreman (Joe) and craftsman as last year - many familiar faces and each person as professional as the next. Sharon was most helpful when we came to the realization that we would need to replace the bottom cabinets (I was hoping to save them) but when the old countertop came off, it was obvious we needed to upgrade them. I was concerned about the price, but Sharon not only came up with a great solution to just replace the bottom cabinets, but also had a fair priced cabinetry company to recommend. I LOVE my new kitchen and I am so happy with the new cabinets! Again, the crew was very quiet, neat and speedy - the kitchen was remodeled in just 4 weeks! I also had two wood-paneled walls drywalled and was so impressed by Miguel's skillful work. I will definitely be a client for life. I've realized that as a homeowner, your best friend is your construction company and it was great working with old friends again. Looking forward to the next project and I happily recommend My Home Builders! --------- Being first time home owners, we were very anxious about renovating our bathrooms. We've and countless people we've asked have had some questionable and not-so-great experiences with "professional" contractors. So, we really did our research. We interviewed no less than 5 construction companies! We're so happy we chose My Home Builders. They delivered on schedule and did everything as promised. We lived in the house while the two bathrooms were remodeled and it was as convenient as it could have been. They never made a mess and contained the different areas so that dust clean up was minimal after they finished. Foreman Joe was always helpful and attentive to our project. Both Yaron and Sharon were very knowledgable and their project manager Jessie was always professional and organized. In fact, each one of their workers were polite, friendly and dedicated - these are some very hard working people! I would recommend My Home Builders in a heartbeat and I look forward to working with them again for my renovation needs. It's difficult to find a construction company that you can trust, but My Home really pulled through and made sure we were satisfied with the result. MyHomeBuilders has provided my family the renovated kitchen and bathroom we were looking for at a reasonable price! Yaron, the owner, came by to write up the bid and I immediately felt at ease that he would do his very best to work with my limited budget, yet still maintaining a high standard of work. For instance, during one of our walk-throughs, he noticed something that was done that was not to his liking. Rather than letting things be, he decided to change it, even though it would mean more work (and money) on his part. That incident showed his commitment to excellence. He is very easy to work with, showed an innate ability to come up with the perfect design that would open up the kitchen, and looked out for my best interest on several issues (i.e. making sure to get the work permitted, selecting tile over hardwood in bathroom, humidifiers in restrooms to prevent mold). In fact, much of the advice that he dispensed was based on his own personal experience renovating his own home. Yaron also shined when we had to select different tiles, bathroom/ kitchen hardware, and paint. He made sure that everything complemented perfectly. Thanks Yaron!

My Home Builders is the contractor you need. When my wife and I considered adding on a guest room and master suite to our 2-bdrm home in Burbank, we were trepidatious based on all the nightmare contractor stories we've heard. Yaron came out to give us a quote and he was the antithesis of what we expected. MHB is an extremely professional and customer friendly organization. Building in Burbank is not easy with all the municipal interference, but they helped us negotiate all of it, and they handled the permit process. We are completing the project next week (ahead of schedule) and living through the remodel has been as easy as living through a remodel can be. Yaron's crews have been friendly and considerate. Along the way we have had our concerns about details in the work being done, and MHB has been sure to address everything and make the changes we need. Whatever your project, you need a contractor who both knows what they're doing and you can trust. Yaron and My Home Builders meet those important requirements.

Excellent contractors with great service. Very happy we chose them after we interviewed 3 contractors. The personal chemistry was the best and Yaron seemed to care about every detail. Our 2 new bathrooms look amazing, and their communication and staff were super easy and friendly thru the entire process. Highly recommended!

I had just had 2 bathrooms and my vanity area fully renovated by this company. The owner,the office staff, and the interior design team were so very helpful & professional with all the planning stages. They worked with my ideas and were easy to deal with. I can't say enough about Yaron being about 2 months on the job, and using his expertise & craftsmanship. He always showed pride in his work &listened to all my concerns throughout the project. I sure am very pleased with the end results! Both of my bathrooms are unique and have exceed my expectations. Two thumbs up for MHB. I would recommend them for your future renovations.

I needed my office remodeled. (approx 2700 sq’) We haven't done any remodeling since we moved in years ago. It was time to upgrade. The excitement was in the air! We felt like It was embarrassing when clients would come in to visit with us. Although this does not happen often, as we are mostly a call center, We wanted to feel good about our work space. I was referred to MHB by a friend, and Boy am I glad I went to them first. Lots of construction companies specialize in houses. And while that is this companie's main focus, they are also experts in office remodeling as well. nothing less than GREAT! They were professional, kind, clean, skillful, and every other adjective I can add for a contractor. My office now looks like it belongs to a multi-million dollar corporation. Excuse my a lengthy review, but you should know exactly what you're getting into when it comes to these General Contractors. My wife and I found My Home Builders, after being disappointed in the past. From our initial meeting with Yaron to signing the contract, I was (and still remain) impressed. their standards of customer satisfaction and Their delivery of all they promise. So, We first started the process in April. Yaron is the supervisor and was on time for all of his appointments with my wife and me. He was very neat, friendly, and excited to be invited into our home. He surveyed our 1960's old kitchen and agreed that we needed to make a drastic change. He came back about a week later and took measurements, asked us questions about what we wanted in a new kitchen, and in less than an hour he had developed a 3-D image for us to look at. It was impressive to see how quickly he and his team could generate such a nice design. Yaron knows what he’s doing, and we are sure he has done this project many times. While a small business owners, Yaron, and Roy have aspirations to expand; in my opinion, they are well on their way. Yaron knows how much work his crews can handle and only works a few jobs simultaneously. His prices are competitive ( trust me...you get what you pay for). We wanted our kitchen done as soon as possible, he said the earliest he could start was may. So we agreed to start on may 1st. now, That gave us some time to shop for all of the appliances, hardware, countertops, tile which He personally took us to a showroom where we picked out our tiles and countertops. He searched for and provided options for all of the finishes (sinks, faucets, hardware, outlets, switches…) To be honest, I was probably a nightmare to work for. I have done a lot of my own sub – contracting in the past in my house and have seen the gamut of work ethics, cleanliness standards, and punctuality of the average tradesman. We moved out of our place during the month of the remodel and I was a little paranoid that something would go wrong and I would end up on an episode of some nightmare remodeling TV show. And so I learned that you have nothing to worry about when My Home Builders, are in your home. their workers are clean, friendly, willing to answer questions, and care about your home. I discovered that Roy visits the job site weekly, but he too genuinely cares about your home. He looks at the rest of your property to see if there is any way he can help improve the safety, functionality, or even value of your home. He is well connected in the community of tradesmen and "knows a guy" for just about anything. I like that! called/texted almost daily regarding the schedule and timeline. I asked for changes to the wiring after the tile had been installed. Did he ever tell me "no" or grow frustrated? No!! He would just say, "I have a better idea!" and proceed to amaze my wife and me with his solutions. Would I recommend this company to strangers? Yes. Would I refer this company to my friends? already have. Would I refer this company to my mother? Absolutely. Would I use this company again? I look forward to it!

I do believe that Roy and Yaron are partners, and you would be hard pressed to find a more honest, creative, and efficient team of contractors and builders for your next project, large or small.. It is not easy to find a company that you can trust these days. I have heard enough horror stories in the past. I hired My Home Builders to work through a long series of jobs, including a new kitchen, two new showers and bathroom and also painting the whole house. Roy quoted a very reasonable price, presented receipts for purchases, and worked diligently and steadily through the projects. I can't imagine a better company to work with. these guys were a pleasure to have onsite and completed the work with integrity and dispatch. We also learned that once you find the company that does well for you, getting more remodeling done at once is worth the extra time and money to get it over with. It really was absolutely wonderful having My Home Builders transform our never- been-updated kitchen &baths into simply gorgeous, functional, light filled spaces that are now the envy of our family, friends, and neighbors. During our first meeting with Roy, he listened carefully to my color preferences and lengthy wish list in order to come up with a design plan for each of my three rooms. and then, at our next meeting, I was able to view 3D computer images of how the finished rooms would look like, and to say I was astonished to see he'd included every item on my wish list. starting From demo to completion - always ahead of schedule. and by the way - Roy kept us well Informed about every step of the work. This was super important to us. He came early each day to meet with the work crew and us, and was always available by phone / text as well. The project foreman, and his entire crew were super friendly and polite, so it was a pleasure having them in our home each and every day. And true to his word, Roy made certain we were both satisfied with every detail before the job was fully completed. - Since I tend to be very particular, I was thrilled to work with such a company that also shares my views of a job well done!!
