Rich has helped us freshen up our house and completely build and decorate our beach house. He is very professional and very detail oriented. He is there for every step and follows up a few weeks later. Any problem he handled with speed and efficiency.

Incredibly brilliant in his ability to visualize the finished product in his mind as soon as Rich stepped into our home for a consultation. Rich Starley was recommended to us by an audio visual company after he designed their showroom. Our project was to redesign and remodel our family room to hold a 75 inch UHD television. The project was a complicated engineering concept because a wall had to extended, electrical and plumbing had to be changed and a room had to be built to house the complicated stereo components and speakers needed for a theatre quality sound system. No other interior designer could figure out how to do the job. Not only did Rich create the design he also redesigned the entire great room with furniture, draperies, paint, carpet, artwork, and a beautiful cabinet to hold the television that in itself is a work of art. Rich is a masterful project manager that maintained and coordinated a very tight schedule. His team of craftsman were always on time and were neat and clean and professional. Rich's communication skills were excellent. We would discuss the project at least 3 times a day from start until completion. I would recommend Rich Starley highly and use his talents over and over again. he deserves a 6 star rating.

Rich helped us with a complete remodel of our home, and I would highly recommend him for any project that you are considering. Rich has a background in construction, and this proved very valuable throughout the project. He was easy to work with, had great advice, and helped make this large project very enjoyable. Rich kept us one step ahead throughout the project, and this helped to avoid any unecessary delays. Selecting tile, granite, fixtures, etc. can be a daunting task, but Rich was very good at narrowing down the field by listening to our likes and dislikes. Ultimately, we built a house exactly the way we envisioned it! I credit Rich with so much of this. He really made the project both fun and easy. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Rich Starley Interior Design has handled many projects for us including a family room remodel, new pool and patio, upgraded kitchen and bedroom, and he also designed most of our furniture and accessories. Each project was handled very professionally and the quality of the work was exceptional. All the materials used were first rate. The projects were completed timely and exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoy our home and pool and the work done by IDS continues to bring us happiness.

Rich helped us create our five bedroom, nine bathroom dream house in Palos Verdes. (You can see many of the pictures on his home page.) With his incredible eye for detail, his vast knowledge of all aspects of design, and his connections with everyone from the best sub contractors to the most talented seamstresses and everyone in between, Rich was able to guide us through what can often be an extremely stressful and difficult process and made the whole thing actually enjoyable! He was able to bring his own artistic vision to the project while still listening to our hopes and dreams for our home, which resulted in one amazing house! I have been using Rich Starley's interior/exterior design services for approximately 14 years. Most recently, he designed and oversaw the complete redo of the kitchen, master bedroom, master bath, formal entry hall, and rear patio with new spa of a home which I purchased about one year ago. In addition, he designed all new window treatments and the furnishing concepts for all rooms. This included the design and construction of custom pieces and re-upholstering of all other existing furniture. This project has been ongoing with several new items due for early 2016. I consider Rich to be a world-class designer with excellent knowledge of all phases of interior and exterior design and construction. I look forward to a continuing association with him.

My husband and I have used Rich as our interior decorator for over 25 years. We still have most of the original pieces, including sofas, that we bought from Rich which speaks to Rich's commitment to quality pieces that will last a lifetime. Rich has impeccable taste but has allowed us to remain involved in the selection of fabrics, finishes, etc. With Rich's eye for design you know that any project he takes on will be beautifully done with an eye to detail. Most recently we have updated our master bedroom by reupholstering the headboard and footboard of our Cal King bed, updated bedding with a new custom bedspread and pillows, reupholstered a chaise lounge and updated lamp shades - giving the original furniture that we bought from Rich 16 years ago a completely new and current look.

Rich Starley completed both a renovation of an existing house and the complete design of a new house we built. He is creative, detail oriented and develops beautiful rooms. He is also extremely well organized, professional, reliable and a pleasure to work with. Rich is respectful of budgets and works with homeowners, contractors and suppliers well. He can design in both traditional styles and modern, and I can recommend him without reservation. Never a disappointment!

Rich Starley has decorated 4 different homes for me over the years, and 2 businesses, and I have always loved his work and his ideas. I first met Rich in Utah where he did the interior decoration for 2 homes for me and a business. When completed, they were both more than I had hoped for. I currently live in Las Vegas and he has done two homes for me here a business. I plan on employing his services for another business here in the near future.
