I can't say enough about our satisfaction with Les Letlow and the entire TLC Design/Build team! Beginning with the thought provoking design sessions with Les where he allowed us to visualize our dreams as we described them to him. Les would continue by adding ideas from his wealth of design/build experience using design software so we could see them and make decisions on options to include that we didn't even know were possible. Then the build process began and it was the most positive, quality build we have ever experienced and we have built 5 new homes and had many remodeling experiences. The end result was a beautiful new addition and remodeling of our lake home. We still thank God for our incredible lake house every time we are there! We were so pleased with Les and his team that we hired them again to upgrade our pantry with beautiful cabinets and finishes that matched the design they created for our initial remodel. Les and his team delivered again! And when your build is complete, Les is not done. He makes his team available to quickly correct any issues or items that need any additional adjustments, etc. through the warranty period and beyond. If you are considering a new build or remodeling project you owe it to yourself to contact TLC Design/Build to give them the opportunity to delight you as well!

I would like to highly recommend the TLC Design/Build LLC for any project that you might have. Les does an outstanding job visualizing what you tell him that you want. He then can show you how it will look on a computer screen and change anything that needs changing. Several things drew me to Les: Firstly, He has an outstanding reputation in Lee County for all the work he has done over the years. Secondly is his attention to detail. I think his attention to detail is what separates him from his competition. He can do it all from new house construction to old house remodeling to just a kitchen or just a bathroom or just an addition. So, if you want the best, give Les a call.

Les Letlow is one of those rare contractors who keeps his word and conducts business with the highest degree of integrity. In addition to Les, the TLC employees that we worked with including Steve, Mike, Steven, and Dan were all very professional, highly skilled, and trustworthy people. The subcontractors that Les employs were very impressive, customer service-oriented people. You might find someone to do your renovation project cheaper, but cheaper is probably what you will get. After all, this is your home and most likely your greatest financial asset, so I suggest you call Les to get it done right.

We had heard through word of mouth about the quality work done by Les Letlow and his Design Company. We decided to contact him for an interview concerning our need for converting one of our Bedrooms into a walk-in closet. Our desire was for something more than that which we could complete ourselves. Upon visiting with Les and observing some of his previous designs and works it became apparent that he knew his business well. We moved forward with his company. Les was patient and professional with us as we worked through the project. We did experience some inevitable delays because our work was done in and around the COVID-19 pandemic. This was obviously of no fault of Les and his company. When the project was completed we could not have been more pleased and excited with the product. The room now adds much needed first class hanging space, drawer space and a mid-room island to handle all our wardrobe needs. We would highly recommend Les Letlow and TLC Design, and we would be most pleased to work with him again should the need arise.

After talking with Les, we chose TLC Design/Build to add an Isokern fireplace in our lakehouse family room and to customize the exterior of the house. It was helpful and fun to see pictures of our planned changes on TLC’s 3D design software in advance of the work. From the planning phase through the punch list, Les and was responsive to all of our calls, texts, and emails. He selected talented artisans to craft our copper chimney cap, and to install our cedar ceilings, corbels and shutters. We found that all work was done by those with integrity. Our experience with TLC was so good and we are very happy with all of the work they did for us.

We purchased a 1950s brick ranch that needed renovation and re-design. Based on recommendations, we decided to use Les Letlow—- His drawings for an updated design were excellent. TLC Design/Build is in the midst of a third project for me. The first was an award winning full kitchen remodel that took me from a small dark galley kitchen to a wide open gathering space. This is s great company! My most recent project was a update/remodeling of my kitchen. I contact Mr. Letlow, made appointment to meet with him to share ideas on what I wanted. Mr. Letlow showed up with cabinet samples, computer and his ideas for my kitchen. He had thought of everything, lighting, appliances, etc. Suggestions on what appliances, light fixtures that would highlight the kitchen. I already had a few ideas of my own, which he implemented into the plans. To make a long story short, the kitchen was completed in record time, under my budget and the nicest people (workman) you want in your home. Mr. Letlow stands behind his work; you want quality work, beautiful results - he is your man. I now have a beautiful, updated kitchen that I'm proud of and love to show off.

Les is an unbelievable worker. He built a handicap accessible home for my husband and I and did a spectacular job! This is our forever home. Les has also followed up with us several times to make sure we were satisfied.

The Letlow Company did an outstanding job in renovating our small ranch home built in 1963. A two car garage was added and the original carport enclosed.. The exterior maintained the apppearance of the era but the interior was restructured. A bedroom and two very small baths were converted into a large walk in closet and spacious master bath. The previous carport was remodeled to house a study, guest bath, and walk in closet. Vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors matched to existing adjacent floors, and exquisite cabinets completed the update. We are very pleased.

Les did an outstanding job of designing and then executing on the work to complete my remodel. He was sensitive to my need to stay within my budget and managed to be ~10% below my target. His subcontractors were courteous and professional. In addition, Les responded quickly to any of my inquiries and was always looking for ways to help me improve my remodeling job.

Les Letlow took our ideals for the bathroom remodel and developed a design that exceeded both mine and my wife's vision. The project took longer than expected because of some unforeseen subcontractor issues, but once finished we couldn't be happier with the results.

The Letlow Company recently completed a redesign of our master suite, dining room, kitchen, powder room, pantry, and laundry room. Pre-planning and pre-ordering supplies were the keys to a timely completion of the project. The assistance of his site coordinator and designer were also important in ensuring the outcome. The results are beautiful and will be enjoyed by our family for years to come.

We had a 3rd or 4th project completed by the Letlow Company. This last project was a custom bathroom for my wife. The quality of work exceeded our expectations and the project came in way under budget. His staff are friendly and skilled craftman. Les Letlow recently built a screened-in porch for me on an existing rock patio. He provided a drawing in advance so that I had a good concept of the finished product. Some constraints were encountered with building restrictions near property lines but he handled all the discussions with the City planners and offered alternate options from our original plans. Everything was handled professionally, efficiently and the quality was excellent. Les offered suggestions along the way and I am extremely pleased with the results. Les built our house about 9 years ago. Recently we noticed the rubber insulation between the panes of our transoms, was buckling. I had no idea whom to call so called Les. He responded promptly and furnished old invoices and names of companies he had gotten building materials from which was very helpful. I'm so glad he is still in business and willing to help out an old client!

Remodel the exterior of a residential property: work was completed within budget and only slightly beyond the projected completion date. Letlow provided helpful advice with formulating the design plan for this renovation. Company workers and 3rd party vendors were respectful of the residents and turned over a clean work site.

March 31, 2012 lightning stuck our house and started a fire that caused $300,000.00 worth of damage. With help from The Letlow Co. our house is now like new and we are so thankful to have hired this company. Mr. Letlow rebuilt our house in 2012 after tornado damage. He was very professional in all respects from planning, framing, and the completion of finish work. He and his workers were on time and paid attention to details. His computer system was compatible with the insurance company's, and he was instrumental in working with the insurance adjusters to achieve the goal of rebuilding our home. He kept us informed throughout the process and made suggestions which enhanced our home. Mr. Letlow will be my building contractor for any future remodeling or construction.

Over the past 13 years he built our original house, remodeled my mother's apartment and finished off our basement . He is a professional in every sense of the word. We needed to find a contractor for a significant addition to our home which also included replacing all of the doors and windows in the house as well as replacing the outside siding with stacked stone and vinyl shingles. We solicited estimates from several contractors and Les stood out immediately. The other contractors walked around the house, took a few measurements and provided a high level estimate for the job. Les asked a lot of questions, took a lot of measurements and provided a very detailed estimate along with a not to exceed price. While his estimate was a bit higher, we had much greater confidence in it because it was so detailed and we knew we wouldn't run into any surprises. Another valuable skill Les brought to the table was design. We completely changed the elevation of the house and Les was able to offer several options and provided beautiful drawings of each option to help us decide We hired Les and he did an AMAZING job. He totally transformed our house using contractors who did quality work. Les managed the project and handled all issues quickly and to our satisfaction. He demands quality work and refuses to cut corners resulting in excellent results. He also came in under the not to exceed estimate which made us very happy. Les also stands behind his work. Over a year after the project was completed, we sent him an email on a rainy Sunday morning noting that one of the windows was leaking. Les called within an hour of us sending the email and asked if he could come see the problem right then (it was a 30 minute drive to get to our house). He came out, inspected the problem and had the window replaced within the week. We can't say enough good things about Les as a person or as a quality contractor.
