Master craftsmanship with a family touch! Most of the people I know how have built a house complain incessantly about how difficult the process and their builder was - they're surprised (to say the least) that we did not have the same experience. Working with V Patrick Gray was a thoughtful, collaborative experience and we really enjoyed the fact that it was a closely knit family business with great communication. We started the project designing the home with their architecture firm (Jon Bolton) and moved on to the design elements with their interior designer (Traci Love). Working with Traci really made our home come alive before it was even built - she learned our aesthetic quickly and would suggest beautiful touches and functional ideas that really made the house 'ours'. Once building started, we worked most closely with Jeremy Gray, who was responsive, quick and accessible for any of our questions. The Grays also have impeccable sub-contractors - the woodwork in particular in our house is beautiful and one of my favorite elements, and the slab and tile companies were also very precise. I'd highly recommend building with the Grays!

We have been working with VPG and Pat Gray since late 2021 on our forever home in Southlake, TX. From the very beginning of purchasing the lot to the architecture/design phase and now in final stages of construction, Pat Gray and his team have been outstanding to work with. We were pretty nervous going into the project based on all of the horror stories people shared about working with various builders in the area. Our experience has been the total opposite and incredibly positive. What we have enjoyed about the process includes: i.) transparency in every conversation, ii.) attention to detail and emphasis on hitting major deadlines and key decisions, and iii.) ability to pivot with proactive steps. Can't say enough great things about Pat Gray, Jerry David, and the entire team at VPG. They are the best at what they do but even better human beings and that's important at the end of the day when you're building something as important as the forever home for your family.

We are extremely pleased with the remodel that was completed on our home. The subs were high quality, professional and the communication with Jeremy Gray could not have been better. He was attentive and available to our calls and questions and even checking to see if we had any concerns. He kept us informed about what would be taking place and when I hear others talk about their contractor horror stories I am so thankful that we used the Grays. They also completed the project on the time table projected! We highly recommend them.

V. Patrick Gray built our home in 2000 and when we had an extensive roof leak I reached out to see if they could help with the restoration. They said yes, and I am so glad they did. Our hand scraped hardwood floors and three interior walls were severely damaged. The project manager, Jeremy Gray, is excellent. He quickly assessed the damage and coordinated all the subs necessary to get the job done right. We have continuous hardwood floors throughout , so it was a big job. The floors look great and all damage was excellently repaired. Jeremy was professional and easy to work with. He kept the job on schedule and addressed any question or issue that came up during the restoration quickly. We will definitely call them for future updates to our home and I would certainly use them for a new build if we ever move. Quality and customer service are still alive and well at V. Patrick Gray. Thank you for your excellence and for making this job as stress-free as possible for us.

Jeremy and his crew did a beautiful job renovating our front and back patio areas. They were extremely professional, easy to work with and did the job quickly (in 4 days!) and within budget. Can't wait to do our next project with them.

We've been in our VPG home just over a year now. As I walked around the house this morning, I marveled at the quality of the build. The perfect walls and corners, the workmanship of the cabinets and flooring, the design and engineering are all outstanding. Pat's choice of associates shows his attention to detail. It started with John Bolton, the architect; great design. Jerry David, the site manager, was flawless in his running of the day-to-day construction. Pat connected us with a great interior designer, Tonya Coleman. She and my wife decorated our house beautifully. We couldn't be more happy with our home. Great experience!

I have seen several homes built by V. Patrick Gray Custom Homes. I have always been impressed with the quality craftsmanship, design, amenities and overall style of the homes. The homes have very livable floorpans, focusing on family life and allowing for great entertaining spaces. Mud rooms, butler panties, expanded utility rooms and screened outdoor spaces are some of my favorite features. Pat has a very creative eye as how to maximize the livable space in a house design. Patrick V. Gray Custom Homes built us a beautiful home this year in Grapevine , Texas. The transitional home exceeded our expectations. Jason ,the superintendent, was always very attentive and responsive to all our request. If Jason did not have the answer he was always willing to research and find the answer that we needed even under tight time frames and cost restraints. We searched in the Grapevine market for over 4 years and kept coming back to Pat and Vintners court. The other builders and neighborhoods we considered in Grapevine were building a lesser quality for more $/sf. Unlike the other builders, Pat truly allows you to build a custom home so that is one of kind and not similar to all the other homes in the neighborhood. My wife and I recently relocated from Chicago to be closer to family. Our home search in the DFW area brought us to a Patrick Gray project that was almost completed. It is a beautiful home and met most of our criteria on a short notice relocation. We love the fact that we get to raise our two babies in this home and in this area. Thus far both Patrick and his main contractor Jerry have been extremely responsive to any questions or concerns we have had. There are punch list items we have not reviewed in detail yet with them, but I feel confident they will get taken care of and are overall minor. Our personal interactions with Patrick have been fantastic and he seems genuinely invested in his clients, them raising their families in his homes as well as in the neighborhoods he helps create.

Patrick Gray Home has built us a fabulous home. They were careful to work with us through most every detail, and even though it was difficult at times when trying to create the vision we had in certain areas, they nailed it. It was our vision and their skill. Their tradesman were great to work with. In the end the home was better than we could have hopped for. Our Patrick Gray Custom Home is quite Stunning! We are very happy with our new home! We found and purchased our home after it was built. Everything you would expect in a custom home was done to perfection. The finish out is amazing! There were a few things we wanted to change before we moved in and they were taken care of very quickly. Pat Gray has been very accommodating. Features you don't find in a spec home include the encapsulating foam blown into all exterior walls and ceiling, Wifi Ecobee thermostats, Wifi enabled garage door opener and Pella sliding patio doors. Appliances are KitchenAid high end and look amazing too. I would highly recommend considering a V. Patrick Gray Custom Home over a Spec home that you can somewhat customize. You will find it doesn't cost anymore for a truly custom home vs. a "Spec customizable home" and the quality is so much better. This is a great home that we will enjoy for many years to come! Hired to rebuild our house after a fire, Pat and his team did an excellent job working through estimates with the insurance company and coordinating not only the normal construction work, but also smoke abatement and the complications of a partial rebuild. The scope of work included taking all but one room of the house down to the studs and replacing the roof and some of second floor framing. I found communications to be frequent and clear. When obstacles were encountered, they were acknowledged and dealt with quickly. On all financial matters, we quickly got to a fair solution - they didn't initially propose a high price and then negotiate down, they proposed a fair price that we nearly always agreed to. I would consider this a more complicated project than either a remodel or construction of a new home and thought it was handled very well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend any type of work.
