Thank you for your feedback.
I'd like to address your concerns directly, and I believe it's important for anyone reading your review to hear our perspective as well. As you know, your project was substantial – the type and size that YBB specializes in, and we appreciated the opportunity to work on it.
Construction projects of this scale involve many complexities. We work diligently to maintain clear expectations, manage budgets, and ensure smooth production. Our client relationships are partnerships, and we emphasize clear communication throughout every project. We're committed to providing the best possible service, but open communication and collaboration are essential for success.
Regarding your specific comments, we addressed every item throughout the project, as we do with all our clients. Your review focuses on negative points, which are taken out of context or misrepresent the facts. Large remodels can be challenging, and I consistently guided you, often advising against expanding the project's scope, so you would have less on your plate and be able to manage budget decisions and expectation of the completed work easier. There were so many positives and extra value our team of service professionals added to this project. We visited last week to assure you on a couple of items in the ADU, they didn't need repair, it was a complementary customer service visit that we satisfied for you. To note, we passed the building department final inspection for your project in Nov 2023.
We maintain open communication with our clients, and the issues you mentioned were discussed thoroughly before you made your decisions. Your review doesn't accurately reflect my professionalism or the effort I put into your project. Your absence during key phases of the project led to misunderstandings, despite our efforts to keep you informed.
I'm incredibly proud of our YBB team, subcontractors, and vendors. They were all carefully chosen to align with the project's scope, budget, and desired quality. I hold my in-house staff in the highest regard, they share my passion and dedication to delivering excellent service.
In conclusion, I'm proud of the work we did and the team that helped you through your remodel. We will learn and improve from your review. It's unfortunate that online reviews don't always reflect the truth. I take great pride in my work, YBB online reviews reflect that.
I wish you all the best, Sherry. My offer for paint touch-up and advice on continued maintenance still stands.
Sincerely,
Cam and the YBB remodel Team
