Remodeling a kitchen is often an unpleasant experience, but I must say Sharon Navarra and one if the contractors she works with, Sean McKee owner of Kingpost made the inconvenience of turning your house upside down minimal. From the day She helped me pick out cabinets, Quartz counter, and hardware she was very helpful. Sharon always replied to my emails promptly even helping me choose a different quartz counter when I changed my mind. If there was a problem and there were not many, she was right on it to make it right. Sean had the demo and new cabinets installed in 3 days, even putting my microwave back so I would have another cooking choice. Every one Sean sent to do work was excellent. There wasn’t a problem that Sean couldn’t rectify. My kitchen was completed in three weeks and looks beautiful. I have heard of nightmares when people had no kitchen for weeks in end,, not in my case. I guess you could call Sharon Navarra and Sean McKee the Batman and Batgirl of Kitchen Remodeling. They were the best!

When I bought my new home, I knew we had to do major rehab. I didn't have the time to deal with multiple companies to order individual pieces so I needed someone to manage the kitchen for me. Sharon Navarra handled my kitchen renovation for Jilco and Jose Vera was my contractor. Sharon came to see my sister's place, which was what I wanted to basically copy, and then came to my unit to measure. She setup a convenient time for me to come to her showroom and pick out my cabinets, molding, hardware, and countertop. She kept me informed every step of the way and the cabinets were delivered on time and actually early! The only issue with the entire order was a slightly warped pantry door which was replaced as soon as possible. That was only a minor inconvenience and didn't slow down the rehab at all. Sharon arranged for the granite company to come and measure as soon as the cabinets were in place and within a week from that, countertop was installed. Everything was beautiful and even beyond my expectations. Jose and his team did a wonderful job with the entire apartment, from demo to finishing touches. His team had to gut the kitchen and bath, patch and paint all walls including what seemed like hundreds of holes from new wiring! His team installed my new kitchen cabinets and backsplash, added additional flooring in the kitchen and a lot more! I give both Jilco and Jose Vera 5 stars!

From our first interaction she was open to ideas and made a few recommendations but once I got the layout, I was amazed at how she made my small kitchen work!!!! Working with Sharon @ Jilco was such a pleasant experience. My wife and I contacted her in April to help change the island in our kitchen that Jilco had built for the previous owners. She came to the house without hesitation, which i have learned since moving in, is a minor miracle getting people to show up ! We met Sharon back at the shop and went over our options and ordered all the pieces. I was concerned with it all fitting but put my faith in Sharon & Jilco. I had also asked Sharon if she could recommend an installer. She put me in contact with Bobby and all I can say is I wish every contractor modeled themselves off him. I didn't have to worry about anything or micromanage. Bobby handled every aspect of the install and all the pieces fit like a glove from Sharon's knowledge (including the new max size quartz counter-top) I am extremely happy with the end results and I am so happy we chose both Sharon and Bobby for our project. Highly recommend them both.

Sharon was the kitchen specialist I worked with. She couldn't have been more knowledgeable and helpful, as I really didn't know what I wanted to do with the space. Together we worked out a plan to maximize the small area into an amazing functional space. What was more important to me, was that when there was a never-happened-before issue with some cabinet doors, she came on site took pictures and had the company replace all that were not perfect. The timeline was amazingly fast, given that most of the project was done between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thank you, Sharon!!

Reana Jones at Jilco was an invaluable resource during our kitchen renovation. I felt like she listened to what I had in mind and then translated my thoughts and ideas into the perfect cabinets and countertops. She understood that we wanted a modern space that still harkened back to the age of the house (170+ years) -- an updated kitchen that didn't look like an out-of-place add-on. Reana also worked well with our architect. It was so easy to get in touch with her and she happily answered any & all questions -- and made several site visits. I recommend her highly. Wish I could give her more stars!!

We are very happy with our windows we ordered from Jilco and had installed this week. A total of 14 on a old home and the carpenter you recommended - Greg Caruso was outstanding.He is very skilled, his work looks great and he has to be the neatest trade ever in my home. Greg is also timely, prompt etc with communications, estimate and scheduling. I will be recommending him to anyone else who asks me about windows and carpentry as well as Jilco!

My family has had an opportunity to work with Jilco on two major home renovation projects, and cannot recommend them enough! Most recently we worked with Kitchen Designer, Sharon Navarra, to design and install custom kitchen cabinets and counters, and two bathroom vanities and counters. Sharon was so helpful with the layout of all three rooms, took the time to come to the job site for planning, confirming measurements and checking out the finished project, looking at standard and custom cabinet and counter options, looking for companies that could cater to our more modern esthetic, selecting cabinet hardware, and following up any questions or concerns we had as crazy homeowners looking for perfection. We highly recommend Jilco and Sharon as a resource for all kitchen and bath cabinetry, hardware and counter tops! On this same project we also replaced a large number of custom sized windows in our mid-century modern home, and multiple interior and exterior doors. Terry McKeown, window and door specialist, did an excellent job discussing options with us at various price ranges, and in various styles. His knowledge of the products available through the many vendors carried by Jilco was very helpful! He also came out to the job site multiple times to ensure we were getting the right products at the right sizes for our home. We highly recommend Jilco and Terry for new and replacement windows and doors!

We worked with Sharon for our kitchen design and Michael for windows and doors and they were both a pleasure to work with. Every time we visited the showroom they spent time answering all of our questions and we never felt pressured. They truly made the overwhelming experience of a home renovation a lot easier!

I worked with Reana at Jilco to remodel my kitchen. Reana made the process so easy and fun. She is so knowledgeable and provided valuable input on layout, cabinetry and aesthetic choices. All of my orders were seamless, with no significant issues. I can't recommend Reana and Jilco highly enough.

I recently renovated my kitchen, and used Jilco for the cabinetry. Sharon was professional and helpful throughout the entire process. The price, quality, and delivery time of the cabinets were good as well. There were a few issues with the logistics that should have been explained to my contractor and I prior to purchase. My contractor was able to work these problems out, but at an additional cost to me. The reason that I cannot give 5 stars has to do with the shipping department. My information was initially entered into the system incorrectly, and for some reason could not be corrected (although I had gone in to correct it several times). This caused issues with the delivery service, and made it so that they could not contact me. Aside from these issues, I am very happy with the look and quality of the cabinets.

My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the service and end product. We recently purchased all new Anderson windows and a slider for a home purchase and were extremely pleased with the entire staff from the initial order to delivery to the follow up after the job. Billy Gesson was the ultimate professional. Our project was not a big one but he took the time to walk us through all the details of purchasing a window blind for our extra large front window. From the style and color to mounts and remotes he gave great advice. Within two weeks from first conversation we had a beautiful remote controlled window blind. It's even on a timer- opens and closes at the precise times we have set! Pure luxury! Thanks to Jilco and their professional work ethic!

Sharon was fantastic. I would specifically recommend her to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen. I had no idea what I was looking for or even shopping for. She helped us connect the dots throughout the entire time of the project. Additionally, she stopped by my house during constructions a handful of times to make sure everything was as we wanted. Rarely do I write reviews unless there is something special to let other folks know about. Jilco has some of the professional, knowledgeable & patient people I've ever encountered from the front desk, sales to delivery. Danny Stevens provided the expertise and guidance I needed as a first time home owner purchasing a number of replacement windows & doors for my home. His patience and follow through is to be commended! There were a couple of "stumbles" which Danny handled promptly. I highly recommend Jilco for any projects, whether for renovation or new build.

We had a great experience with JILCO – we were doing a full renovation of our home (Rye, NY) and were getting all new windows. Someone recommended having JILCO price them out – very fortunate that we did. They had the best price for the same windows. Was very surprised how knowledgeable they were (even caught something the Architect missed and saved us from buying the wrong window). Awesome service, delivery was on-time and learned how much more they do – we are going back for doors and fixtures. I have used Jilco Window Corp for two renovation projects in my home. I would use them again and again! It is a pleasure to work with a company that clearly hires professional, knowledgeable people that are well educated in their field. I did not have any problems from design to install. There were none of those awful surprises that we all fear when doing a home improvement project. They were there in person or on the phone anytime I, or my contractor, had a question. I would highly recommend them with no reservations.

I hired Jilco to replace all the windows in my house about 5 years ago. I wanted high-end insulation, used Serious Windows and Therma Tru (french) doors. The windows were installed perfectly. Not so the doors. The front door was mounted with an outswing, but the astragal was mounted on the inside of the door. As a result the door latches and strikers are exposed to elements and have rusted (see photo). There is water penetration on the floor. The door hinges have also rusted. I have been trying to mount my own astragal without success. I have contacted Terry McKeon at Jilco for help solving this problem 1/2 a dozen times, and have never received a response, despite the so-called warranty. Since this review, the manager Mark Thomson came out with a ThermaTru specialist and promised to fix the problem. I have upgraded their rating.

I purchased an entry door with skylights and a storm door to finish the job; in the fall. The door came without the promised saddle, it had to be replaced. The salesman told me to purchase the painting kit because the factory painting was inferior. This cost me an additional $650.00 and was done poorly. That was on top of the $1500 installation fee. I was sold an Anderson 4000 screen, when attempting to insert the screen door I found out they sold me an Anderson 3000. I was rushed out of the store and treated very poorly when I went back to them for assistance. I will never go back

We have purchased all of our windows, doors, and cabinetry from Jilco for the past 20 years and will continue to do so for the next 20 years. Jilco is staffed by some amazing people, full of knowledge, and are always eager to help. We are very proud to have such a great relationship with an amazing company!

I've used Jilco on every house I have owned for everything from windows, interior doors, trim, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and interior hardware. I've purchased as both a homeowner doing it myself and had their installers do work. As a DIYer, they are amazing to deal with. Their kitchen designers blew me away with their suggestions and ideas and their product selection let me build whatever I could dream of (with their help). As a homeowner hiring a contractor, their work was impeccable. Their workers were immaculate and their installation far exceeded my stringent expectations. Not only will I continue to be a customer, I highly recommend them to anyone in the area.
