I consider myself lucky having found Pacific Rim Sash & Door to help with a project of replacing almost 400 windows for my historic residential property designed by Pietro Belluschi and built in Portland, Oregon in 1942. All of our original windows in our 7 handsome buildings needed replacing and Pacific Rim helped us select the proper windows for the property and facilitated the smooth process of having them installed. Pacific Rim steered us to an installer they thought appropriate for our very tricky situation of preserving interior millwork, period plaster and the brickwork exterior. (Lamont Bros. Design and Construction). The entire project which could have become a complete nightmare was completed thanks in a large part to the professional service Pacific Rim provided. Their cooperation and coordination between the contractors doing the installation and the manufacturer of the windows kept the project on track from beginning to end, ironing out all the issues that always come up when tackling any job of this scale and complexity. It has been a pleasure working with Pacific Rim. Our project was a very complicated window and exterior metal door package. The cost for supply and installation was pushing $400,000. The window and door frame product was Fleetwood. The insulated glass units were mostly triple glazed and were from 3-different vendors. We simply could not have done this project without Pacific Rim.
