Rettinger was able to repair my gas fireplace for a reasonable fee when the dealer I bought it from tried to rip me off and couldn’t repair it. I know who I will continue to use for such things! I wish I had used them in the first place.

I could not be more pleased with my new Osburn matrix stove insert. The team at rettinger is excellent. Dan was very helpful with the stove and setting up the process. Dave did the inspection and explained the necessary repairs. Mitchell and his worker installed the stove quickly and efficiently and Mitchell explained the Initial fire process very well. Every step of the way communication was easy and efficient. A very professional organization

We recently had a wood stove installed by Rettinger, the installers were fairly knowledgeable and did a decent job even though Rettinger failed to supply the required heat shield and side door lock. Since this was a replacement stove we had we questions about the new catalytic system. We went in to speak with Lee about our concerns. He appeared to be fairly agitated when he came out of his office immediately stated he had to leave at 11:30 (it was 11:26 at this time) and said he wouldn’t come out from behind the counter to deal with us. Since the stove is basically unusable without the heat shield I asked about the status of the heat shields delivery, he said he had no idea when it would be delivered. It’s the middle of October and we have an unusable wood stove. Not sure what we did to deserve this type of customer service but it was extremely uncomfortable. This was the second stove (previously purchase a pellet stove) we purchased from Rettinger and it will be the last. My hunting club is planning to replace our old stove in the spring, there is no way I would ever consider dealing with Rettinger ever again. In my experience most companies with poor customer service don’t pay attention or care about to poor reviews, so I expect this to never be addressed or resolved. There is another fireplace store further down Rt 73 and a real nice store in Burlington. Visit them before dealing with Rettinger.

Dave Jr and his crew did a fantastic job helping us to make a beautiful statement with a modern minimal vertical gas conversion fireplace! The showroom was a valuable resource to find and 'test drive' the perfect model. The installation was a tricky one, in an historic Philadelphia loft space, but their experience allowed us to arrive at exactly the perfect solution! Thanks Dave!

The gas fireplace is a beautiful addition, keeps the house warm and is easy to operate. The annual service is terrific and keeps the fireplace in top form.
