I am extremely happy with my wood floors from Hull Forest Products. From my initial phone call with Mary to my visit to Hull to meet with Ernie to see the different options in person, everything went smoothly from start to finish. I choose live-sawn white oak in random widths (3”, 4”, and 5”) and the quality is outstanding. The boards are so expertly milled that there was very little waste. Because of this, I even had enough leftover to install flooring on my third floor with the overage my contractor had allowed for. My installer also commented that the flooring was a pleasure to work with. I am so glad I choose Hull Forest Products and I know I will enjoy these floors for years to come!

In restoring an 1873 colonial revival home, we were looking to install an approx 450 sq ft oak kitchen floor. After pouring through countless websites, brochures and samples, we visited the Hull Forest Products showroom. What a huge difference it made to take the time to do that! We saw, felt and smelled wonderful wood samples and felt utterly confident finally to make a choice of the white oak engineered wide planks, character grade. We are supremely happy with the results! We visited Hull's sawmill in CT and were very impressed with the people we met and the various woods. We chose select sap maple wide plank flooring for our city loft and we couldn't be more pleased with our choice. Our project got delayed for 6 months due to Covid, and Hull was very gracious in holding our wood for all that time without any additional cost. We installed the wood with a clear finish, and it looks just fabulous. Our builder was extremely pleased with the quality of the wood as well.

This was my second time using Hull Forest Products (HFP) for my Maine home remodeling projects using 3/4” T&G, wide plank maple flooring. Both times I was very happy & satisfied with the results, once using premium tiger (red) maple, and the second time using premium all-sapwood hard (sugar) maple. HFP specializes in northern hardwoods from forests they manage and in conjunction with forest owners. Mary Hull and Belinda Culp were very responsive to all my many questions and their follow-up was superb, even throughout this trying time of COVID-19. My flooring contractor was impressed with the trueness of the HFP tongue & groove milling process which produces very straight planks even in the widest widths and longest lengths. With the stress relief cuts on the bottom of planks, I’ve had no problems with cupping even after seven years (and I turn the heat off in my cottage when I close up for the winter!) You won’t get Lumber Liquidator prices, but you’ll be happy to know that with HFP - you get what you pay for.
