I stumbled upon Acorn Interiors out of curiosity as Paula has a design shop in Andover. I was so impressed to see Paula's work-room on site and to be able to see amazing window treatments, pillows, etc in progress. It was comforting to know that a client has that direct connection to the designer/creator as the collaboration process unfolds. I am so happy I took my time (over 2 years) to finally go ahead and have window treatments and shades done for my kitchen sink window and eating area. I knew Paula and Denise were the right choice. The valances came out beautifully and as I was admiring how custom stitched the trim along the bottom of the valance appeared, it turns out that Paula hand-stitched it on herself. It clearly shows! I can't wait to start my next project!

We have had a few projects done by Acorn Design Center. The latest was window treatments in our family room. I was looking was something very particular, that added color to the room bust was not intrusive and was not similar to the windows in my earlier house. Paula listened to all my requirements, patiently matched colors, patterns, designs to each fabric change I made. I get a lot of compliments on the change in my family room. She is friendly and approachable and has a very good design sense. She is also a treasure trove of resources. Every time, we have a home design job, I would not hesitate to go with her again.

Working with Paula from Acorn Design Center was a wonderful experience. Having moved into a new house I wanted to ensure I had the highest quality of shades in my home. Paula came to my house with various samples to choose from. The order was placed in a timely manner and I was kept informed on the status of delivery. Once they arrived Acorn contacted me and scheduled a convenient time to complete the installation. I am very pleased with the quality of the shades and the excellent customer service. I highly recommend using Acorn for your decorating needs.

I recently moved into a brand new townhouse (new construction) and needed to put up window treatments for all of my windows. Working with Paula from Acorn Design Center was a great experience; she took plenty of time to help me figure out exactly the right colors and textures that would blend perfectly with the walls and granite (a very busy granite pattern). For most of my front windows I had Paula install Hunter Douglas Salt and Pepper 2.5" wood blinds, for the bathrooms and laundry I had amazing light brown linen-texture cellular top down/bottom up shades installed and for the kitchen I had HD woven wood shades installed to which Paula added a beautiful ribbon and bead trim at the bottom. Paula also had the great idea of having just sheer panel curtains (to match the woven wood shades) covering the kitchen sliding glass door with beautiful medallion holdbacks- this way I have great light control, privacy, and ease of using the door. The kitchen looks really beautiful... I am looking forward to working with Paula soon on more window projects!

I highly recommend Acorn Design Center. Paula went above and beyond to help in choosing the perfect fabric and trims for my bedroom drapes, valence and window seat cushion project. Her elegant designs and excellent workmanship have really transformed our master bedroom. Paula and her team made the process super easy and enjoyable and even delivered our new look faster than expected. Acorn is the only company I will use for future window treatments in our home.

I had window treatments made for a TV room. The service was very professional, accommodating, and thorough. Paula is very meticulous, and it is reflected in her work.

Paula, the owner of Acorn Designs, got back to me right away, sending me fabric samples of a pattern I had requested for our dining room drape project. She was very patient, as I tried to match a solid linen to another patterned linen in the connecting kitchen. I ended up sourcing the fabric myself, but she did every possible move to make the process as easy as possible. She did source the drape rods, and this also was efficient, following an emailed image for me to choose the stag rods. She set up a time to measure around the windows in a very timely fashion. I was extremely impressed with the turnover time, skill, and gorgeous work on our new dining room drapes. She also gave design advice on another room, and hemmed a sheer in the dining room that hangs on a door leading to the porch. Installation was also efficient, and took the headache of placing drape rods in plaster walls away. Thank you!!

I was buying a new condo and had no idea where to start with the windows. Walked into Acorn Design Center and felt right away that Paula was going to be able to help me to add privacy to my home yet keep the clean look I like on windows. She also anticipated a problem I could have in the future putting drapes because of design flaw in the window. She had her carpenter fix that and it will no longer be a probem.
