Purchased many high quality furniture pieces over the years from both the Wayne and Fairfield stores. Been happy with every purchase. Recently purchased a sofa with reclining leg lifts. Extremely happy with it. The delivery guys covered the sofa and handled it with care but one of the sofa legs put a slight gouge in my wooden alder front door. Contacted Mark Bograd and he put me in touch with Arline and she scheduled Chuck to perform his magic and the door is like new with no visibility of the gouge. Mark formerly owned Bograds Furniture store that has since closed, has been in the furniture business for 40 years and a few years ago joined White House. He is an encyclopedia of furniture knowledge. They stand by their products and delivery. They are the only high end furniture store left in my area and they are the store of my choice. Highly recommend them.!!!

I have worked with Gayle Weiner for 20 years and wouldn't do a project without her. Together we have tackled bedrooms, living areas, and dining spaces. I have always appreciated Gayle's design knowledge and her great style. In addition, she is tremendously patient and detail oriented. Her designs were always done with my family of six in mind. She embraced our love of color and casual style to create timeless, beautiful rooms that are both livable and magazine ready. Veronica Pluto was amazing to work with to remodel our bedroom. She was so easy to work with and had amazing ideas to create the kind of tranquil space we desired. She was always responsive and totally flexible and always made it work. The best thing about working with her was that she really listens to what the client wants and then she figures out how to make that happen with a beautiful result. I highly recommend Veronica.

“Let’s ask Sue” is our new mantra for all of our decorating needs. I’m being total honest. We recently went shopping for new master bedroom furniture and décor and my wife and I got totally overwhelmed with the myriad of choices available. Dazed and confused from a long day of wondering around all the big box stores and being stalked, we finally stopped in White House Living. We walked into an amazing showroom that had unique pieces throughout. We stopped in the doorway not knowing if we should go inside (and be overwhelmed, again) or run! Then Sue greeted us. Having told her about our day, she reassuringly sat us at her desk and talked to us, not at us. She asked about style, color, functionality, and budget. Her repour eased and focused us. With her many years of design experience, Sue is very efficient in her approach to the process. Her advice and guidance were invaluable. She met with us for the afternoon and helped select furniture and accessories for our bedroom. “Let’s call Sue” We had such a pleasant experience we decided to meet with Sue for our living room and dining room remodel. We built-up such a nice relationship with Sue that this time went smoothly. We had paint color anxiety and Sue said: “well you have a beautiful grey in your bedroom, how about this color? It’s called Griege.” Perfect match to our new floor. On to the furniture. Easy-peasy! All the designers at White House Living are pleasant and approachable. You can tell they truly love designing. As they walked by they would stop and discuss our selections and give their advice and speak honestly. “Shopping” at WHL made us feel like part of a design team that collaborated to make our decisions easy. No more big box stores for us. We will always go back to White “Home” Living and Sue!

White House Living is one of my favorite destinations for gorgeous furniture and incredible customer service. The interior designers working here are exceptional and are highly skilled at translating your style, likes, and dislikes into stunning home decor. The furniture is of the highest quality and the selection is unmatched. Highly recommend!

I worked with Mona Johnson to redecorate my living room in my new townhouse in Mahwah. She did an amazing job! She got to understand me and my style quickly - she found pieces that have come together and work well. From the media cabinet, area rug, couch, ottoman and chairs - I love them all! She is professional and caring. I look forward to working with her again!

We really enjoyed working with Mona Johnson. Her years of experience, in-depth knowledge of the furniture business, and keen understanding of our likes and dislikes enabled her to design and deliver a wonderful new home for us. She worked with our contractor to know how our planned kitchen, bath, floor, wall and ceiling re-dos would impact the design plans and she suggested not only furniture and rugs but wall colors, window treatments, and lighting fixtures as well. When the furniture was ready, she supervised the installation and made sure everything was exactly as ordered. She arranged for prompt replacement of anything that did not meet her specifications. Throughout, she was willing to spend all the time with us we needed, and made sure we were kept up-to-date on the status of our large order. We couldn't have done anything like it on our own, even if we had the time and talent, and the discounts she helped arrange for our custom furniture were much appreciated. Thanks again Mona! Veronica has a real gift and should be cherished and used by all. I am not even sure where to begin when it comes to the fantastic work that she did on my home. Once we met Veronica, I already knew that was the perfect match for my home and no one else would be able to accomplish what I wanted to be done. Veronica is very empathetic and understanding when it came to what I had wanted to be done on my home and to make it a dream house for my family and I.
