Rissland Garage Door Company

Rissland installed a new door and opener a few years ago. Right from the start, we had a problem with the electric eyes that keep the door from closing if something blocks it. This became a recurring problem, but Dominic always came promptly to fix or replace them. Then the door came off the track. Dominic came and fixed it (for $400+). A few weeks later, that repair failed and the door is again inoperable. I have called Dominic several times, and he keeps avoiding me and not returning the calls. I can only assume he doesn’t want to back-up his previous work because he knows he did a shoddy job. Too bad. I like supporting local businesses, but I won’t use or recommend Rissland again.

We just used Dominick and Rissland Garage Doors to replace our old garage door openers and service the doors. They are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Dominick took the time to walk me through every aspect of the job and was extremely thorough from the estimate process through job completion. We were very happy with both the fair price and the excellent service. I would not hesitate to use them again and can absolutely recommend them to others.

We recently had Rissland come to our home and install a new garage door opener and new safety cables. We dealt with Domenic and he could not have been more professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He had some very good suggestions with the safety mechanisms on the doors and since we have small children this was very important to us. We had used Rissland for some garage door repairs on our previous home and had a great experience. I would recommend Rissland to anyone when it comes to garage door services.

My garage door spring popped & left my car trapped in the garage. I called several companies who advertised as 'garage door repair' & NONE of them returned my call, except for Dominick at Rissland. Dom was courteous, patient & promptly arrived the following day, as he told me he would. He assessed the situation, provided me with my options & the associated costs, then allowed me to choose what I wanted to do without putting any pressure on me. As a design professional who works with many home-improvement trades, it's refreshing to know that I have colleagues who are as ethical & decent, as I try to be. PS - my mom's garage door broke about a month after mine & of course, the person I called was Dominick at Rissland. Same excellent reliability, same big smile, same good service & a big thumbs-up from mom ;-)

Rissland, Did a fabulous job replacing our door. The selection was more than we needed and the quality was top of the line. Installation was done as scheduled and professional.
