“Nottingham builders did an absolutely phenomenal job building our dream home! From helping us to identify an architect and being there every step of the way throughout the design phase, to providing complete transparency regarding budget and their profit margin (It's a simple cost + % model) and helping to ensure we stayed within our budget -- Nottingham was completely above board. No hidden fees. We were able to select our interior options for cabinetry, lighting, flooring, etc... on our own and were not forced to choose from a defined set of options. And the quality of the construction was second to none. This is a solid home! Owner Lee Norton is unlike any of the builders we interviewed. He is honest, trustworthy and genuinely cares about each and every project as if it were for his own family. His team, including the subcontractors he works with, are experienced, talented and good, decent people. “We just finished our kitchen and three baths remodel. The crews were always on time and remained on schedule throughout the project. Very competitive pricing a bit higher the average but worth every penny. Their craftsmanship and attention to details produced a superior kitchen and a first class master bath. “Dennis renovated my entire home and added approximately 1200 square feet to the existing footprint. This was a lenghty and complicated process that was estimated at 10 months and took every bit as long. We renovated 5 bathrooms and added another full bath as well as a master suite and guest suite and reconfigured much of the home taking everything else down to the studs. All new mechanicals and insulation and hardscape were done. The project was done with high quality and for at least 15% less than the closest estimate. Dennis was great through the entire project. As expected, there were ups and downs over the course of the year. If you aren't ready for some unexpected findings, don't even embark on a renovation of any sort. I say this as I want you to know this review is legit. However, every step of the the way, Dennis was at the project overseeing the work, answering questions, and keeping us informed. He is the job foreman and GC. It's his own personal business that he grew up working in with his father. Unlike many GC's he could put on a tool belt and do the job himself, and that gives him insight to know if the work being done is actually done right. I have referred Dennis to my friends and he has done work for 2. Both have been very happy. My wife and I love it when Dennis stops by to tweek things or just say hi. He is an honest and honorable man whom I respect. Contrast that with most people I know who undertook renovation projects. For most of them, the last time they saw their GC was in court. I recommend Dennis Kelbus without any any reservation. You should STRONGLY consider Dennis for your project of any size.”
