American Heritage, (Shem, Hope, Josh, David, Dayton, Hank and the AHH Pool team) are wonderful to work with! We have been very impressed with their work ethic, honesty, and loyal work. But we are also very pleased with the project they did! Our pool is beautiful! The pool is the perfect oasis I was hoping for!! Pools these days are not cheap so it’s scary paying that much, but so reassuring when you work with a company that truly cares. At one point in the process we reached out to the company with some concerns and they were very quick to respond. They took full accountability for the concern and fixed it in a very timely manner! Hope was fabulous to work with!! She was very, very honest and understanding. She made us feel like valued customers, not just a price tag! We honestly can’t say enough good things about this company’s work, ethic, and individuals they hire!

American Heritage built our pool and we are so happy with the work they did. They had great communication throughout the process and we always knew what to expect next. They were always on schedule and have been very responsive even when we needed to fix or adjust something. We are very pleased with the final product and we have already referred some of our friends to them.

Shem Foster and Jon Hunter with American Heritage Homes built our gorgeous second home in Hurricane and we couldn’t be happier with the design inside and out. It feels like a luxurious hotel with its upscale touches. They were extremely responsive to our minimal requests and made the entire experience painless. We had Seth and Shem Foster and their team, build us a house at Dixie Springs in Hurricane, Utah 10 years ago. They gave us freedom to make changes in their plan and really make it our home. Seth said about the plans they offer, “Forget all of that and just tell me what you want” and we did. Used these folks to build a pool and spa in my backyard. Nothing but professional, honest, and straight forward through the whole process. Pricing was fair and job completed before planned completion date. I will be short and to the point. I have dealt with many contractors over the years some good some not so good.as a rule most will do a satisfactory job. Honesty and customer service are hard to come b, especially if you want them to come back and fix something. I have used American Heritage Homes on my home and 2 other projects their work is 5 star, but more importantly their Honesty, Integrity, Customer Service, and their willingness to come back and correct things is 10 star.

Steve and Maurine Clark: Our experience working with American Heritage Homes We chose American Heritage Homes as our builder because of the detail and quality they put into their homes and their willingness to put enough information on their website for us to find out about the company and what kind of quality they put into their homes. This allowed us to make the best decision for a builder on our home project. Our experience with American Heritage Homes was a smooth, happy and exciting time for us. We made it a joint project with them. Seth, Shem and all of the staff we worked with were excellent. We very much appreciated the advice we received from all of the subcontractors we worked with. We found them to be knowledgeable and were very helpful to us in making the many decisions needed to select the finishes and materials to include in our home. We appreciated the help Seth gave us in looking over the plans for the house and making suggestions for changes that would avoid construction problems and improve the flow of the design. We also appreciate his help in working with our plan designer to get the plans completed. The plan we used was not one of American Heritage’s standard floorplans but Seth and the staff were very willing to work with a plan we brought to them. We began working with American Heritage Homes as soon as we purchased the building lot in February of 2016. Seth let us know that all he needed to start planning the actual build was six weeks notice. In February of 2018 when we attended the St. George Parade of Homes, we informed Seth that our house in California was on the market and that we would be moving to Utah in mid-April and be ready to start construction. We moved to Utah April 15, 2018 and construction was begun on April 21st. The project ran very smooth with only a few minor issues. We found that they were very responsive to problems and corrected them quickly. We included some special items in the build that we informed Seth about at the beginning of the project which included wiring for internet, cable TV, amateur radio equipment and a whole house backup generator. All of the items were installed by the subcontractors and their cooperation was excellent. The home was completed in the third week of August 2018 which was only one week later than their estimate of four and one-half months. In essence, the house was completed on time and on budget. Any items that were over the allowed budget were a result of us choosing more costly materials. Our thanks go out to American Heritage Homes, and all of their subcontractors and suppliers. Thanks for a great job and a job well done!!

American Heritage (Shem & Jon) were fabulous to work with. We contracted with American Heritage to build our swimming pool in late August of 2018. They committed to have our pool completed by Thanksgiving so that we could use it when our family came for the holiday. Even though it was a tight window, they kept to their word and had our pool pretty much completed by early November, and we were swimming in it by Thanksgiving. The real testament to their integrity, trust, accountability and excellence came after we made the final payment in November. More often than not, as soon as a contractor is paid it gets very difficult to get them back out to fix any issues. That was NOT the case with American Heritage. As we were getting ready to use the pool for the first time, we noticed staining on the plaster and the light wasn't working. We contacted Jon (the project manager for our project) and he took the ball and made sure the issues were resolved. As of this review, we have just one remaining equipment issue but I have no doubt that it will be fixed soon. I would definitely use American Heritage again for any construction project, and I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for a home and/or pool contractor.

These guys are great. I had my home built while living in New Jersey. It was easier coordinating with the AHH team from 2400 miles away than it often was with a contractor from my own neighborhood. It was nice to be able to work with the company owners on a regular basis as the project was being completed. Seth and Shem were excellent in directing the design and construction phase while their wives, Tamara and Caroline, were providing all of the administrative and financial information that I needed. Yvonne, who is identified as the interior designer, is much more that her title states. She was fantastic in handling several projects at one time, moving each project along, paying great attention to detail and demonstrating great communication skills while coordinating activities with the subcontractors that made us aware that our project was always recieving attention. Brent, customer care representative, worked with my wife and me after construction to address any issues that we had and made all necessary repairs. Repairs were few and minor. Brent also was a good source of information for my wife and me as we were moving to Utah from a great distance. All construction projects will have some problems along the way, and when they occurred during our project, AHH stood behind every bit of their work and made sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. I guess the best compliment that I can give regarding AHH is to say that my sister-in-law is now looking to move to the Ivins area and if she decides to build a new home, I will strongly suggest that she talk to the Folks at AHH.

We built with American Heritage about a year ago in Hurricane, Utah. They were absolutely amazing to work with! We live 3.5 hours from where we were building so to keep a close eye on our new home was hard (it’s our vacation home). But, they kept us informed, answered every call and were great with any questions or changes we made. To this day, they are still responsive to all of our calls if we have questions. We absolutely love our home! We couldn’t be happier with the quality! We would recommend American Heritage to anyone building in that area.

Our experience with American Heritage Homes was very positive and we are not your "average" homeowners. We actually know a lot about the industry since my husband is a General Contractor and I am a Real Estate Broker. I've spent my 20+ years of my career specializing in new construction. Our commercial construction company is in Northern Utah so when we decided to build a second home in "Southern" Utah, we interviewed many builders. Feeling good about our interaction with American Heritage Homes, and comfortable with the price, options and terms we signed a contract to have them build our home. Our experience was as perfect as possible. Any issues we had were resolved quickly and fairly. Enough that when we sold that home to build a larger more custom home we once again hired them to build our retirement home. They worked with us through many design changes and custom features. The sub-contractors were easy to work with and very professional. We have called on many of them when we have needed maintenance and they have treated us very well. We have referred AHH to many neighbors as well as close relatives. They also love their homes and have had positive experiences. We highly recommend American Heritage Homes and their owners Seth and Shem Foster. I honestly would use them time and time again.

This is the 3rd time we have built a home and it has been a wonderful experience. The team at American Heritage Homes, is professional, HONEST and fun to work with. I hired American Heritage to build my first new homes and I am sorry I did. The quality of work is poor and they made one mistake after another. All I got from Shem was lies and excuses. They installed the wrong size window, the wrong type of window. They even drywalled over a window and never even noticed. They put the wrong concret finish, forgot to install an outdoor drain then started landscaping my front yard without even asking me what i wanted. They installed my new refrigerator with a dent in the door and did not even tell me. They put the wrong size water heater and put the gas meter right in front of my $ 400 iron gate. These people just dont care

Our experience with American Heritage was seamless and stress free. Seth, Shem and Yvonne were exceedingly helpful and accommodating to the many changes we made to the plans of our house and everything was done on schedule. What makes AHH Great in my mind is that from the 1st time I stepped into the model home and spoke with Bob I felt relaxed. It didn't take long for me to realize that everyone that I came in contact with during the process makes every step feel personal, professional and with a since of pride! AHH recently built an AMAZING pool in our backyard! From start to finish they met deadlines on time. They communicated with us almost everyday, letting us know what to expect next. We would highly recommend them to our friends and family!

The AHH team just completed our house in Hurricane in August, 2016 and they did an excellent job. We live in California and when we started the building process, we heard all the horror stories about trying to build a house "long distance" but AHH made sure that none of that happened. There were a few hiccups along the way but that's to be expected for this type of project. Communication is the key factor for a successful job like this and, even for the hiccups, they were on top of it all the way. And one more sign of a professional organization is that, even now, after the job is done, they are just as responsive to our needs and questions as before. They really do care to do a good job! We can't say enough good things about AHH and their professional staff and will recommend them to anyone who want to build a home in our area.

I have lived in my residence for over a year, it was built by A.H.H. Last week they started construction next door. They are supposed to water down the dirt to keep dust down, I asked the concrete crew to water the dirt to stop the dust clouds from turning the roof of my white camper red and move a vehicle. The roof of my white camper is now red. American Heritage Homes response? No contact with me to hear my side. Had I known a year ago what I know now about A.H.H attitude I would not have built. Also, if you like trash in empty lots, clouds of red dust wafting on you this place is for you.

When my wife and I qualified a builder for our most recent home our primary considerations were quality of build and integrity. Seth & Shem came very highly recommended in both regards. No construction project will be perfect. A contractors ability to foresee potential problems and eliminate them and how the respond when a problem arises is what sets them apart. Shem and Seth are very detail oriented and at the same time maintain schedules. When problems came up they presented us with the options, their recommendations and let us choose how to move forward. Very professional but with a personal touch. I have no problem recommending AHH!

We looked throughout the St George area to build a house. We did not want an HOA and wanted a little bit of a yard. But more than anything we wanted a good builder. We happened upon Dixie Springs and loved it. The views, the people, and the homes were all what we were looking for. And then we found Seth and Shem at American Heritage Homes. We were so impressed with their professionalism and upbeat attitudes. We loved their homes! They were more than willing to work with us on all of the "little" things that we wanted. American Heritage built our home in Dixie Springs in 2013. I have build 6 homes in my life (3 custom and 3 cookie cutter) and this was by far the most personal and pleasant experience. Cost was fair, after the sale service and quality was excellent. Seth and Shem exceeded my expectations with the sale and build cycles, Yvonne was helpful with interior selections and Josh was excellent in follow up service - always taking care of items without question. What a pleasure that has been. As with all builders using subcontractors, their challenge is to make sure they receive quality workmanship in a timely manner from those subs and they have done an good job with this. Never before have I walked into a finished home and been surprised with extra features that I did not expect; and they provide value in their homes with excellent standards, which allowed us to focus on upgrades that added value instead of being nickel and dimed to death with upgrades like many other builders with low grade standards. The owners of American Heritage are great folks to work with. They are well organized, and are generally responsive. They worked with us on any issues and stood behind their work after we moved in. We feel they are honest and hard working. We had some issues and they worked hard to make us happy. We are pleased with the overall construction. We have issues with the flooring which was the result of the work by the subcontractor, but we would highly recommend this builder to others.

We have been looking in to building a home in southern Utah. We had been looking all around the St. George area. American Heritage Homes, came highly recommended by many people. So we called Seth Foster, and met with him. We explained what we were looking for. We took one of their plans, and made our own changes. It turned out beautiful!! We met with their recommended Mortgage Company. It is finally finished! We just received our keys yesterday. They were great to work with! Looked forward each week, for our call from Yvonne, their Design Consultant. She let us know what they were doing each week. She was GREAT! We would recommend them, to do any projects you may have. Still having things needed to be looked into, but that is expected with a new house.

We moved from Georgia to Utah in June 2014. We met with Seth, Shem, Bob, and Yvonne in April 2013 and began building our house in beautiful Dixie Springs. Over the next three months during the building process, we mainly dealt with the American Heritage Homes' team from 2100 miles away. The team members kept us informed through constant emails, phone calls, and pictures. We really appreciated the workmanship, professionalism, and caring attitude that they showed us during the construction process and beyond. I had heard many positive things about American Heritage homes through rialable sources but didnt know a home builder could meet let alone go above and beyond my expectations. I knew right after meeting with the owners Shem & Seth and their building team that I was in good hands for my very first custom home build. Everything from the beginning stages, they took time to drive me around to seveal of their existing homes and homes in production to give me ideas on floor plans and then took time to go over in great detail to customize my plan accordingly. Since then I've met in person to go over details for interior:(paint,finishes,cabinetry,flooring,fixtures, window treatments etc) and exterior options and details(lighting,cement color and texture, landscaping etc), they've been very thorough and have kept me in the loop of things on a weekly basis! My Mind is definitely at ease knowing I can trust such a reputable team. This has been such a positive experience for me and I'm looking forward to move in day, in my new American Heritage home. American Heritage Homes built our 4 bedroom home. Seth helped us find the right location for our family. Shem kept the building on schedule. Joshua followed up on details. Yvonne was our support person who had timely answers to our questions and tasteful suggestions. Throughout the building period the staff were available and willing to help us, even after business hours. We did experience some oversights by the builder, two were resolved, and two were not. However, the quality of the home is superior. We recommend American Heritage Homes without hesitation.

Seth and Shem Foster were geat to work with. Their suggestions, experience, and ability to preform the work were excellent. Work was performed in a very timely manner, and of the highest quality. I have had several homes built for me in differrant parts of the country by differant contractors. Those experiences very from good to bad. when shopping for a house we couldn't find a favorite so decided to build and found American Heritage Homes in the neighborhood that we wanted to build. We talked to several residents in the neighborhood and they all claimed that AHH did a fantastic job. So we too had them build our favorite floor plan and we're a week away from closing. They have been great to work with and they communicate almost daily with updates and progress of the home. P.S the builder also lives in the neighborhood. That's been a plus
