Create Interior Design and Remodeling

Our experience with Create Interior Design was fabulous from beginning to end. We hired them to do a variety of small improvement projects when we moved into a new house. He provided clear, comprehensive estimates and stayed completely within the budget. All the projects were completed with expert care and many exceeded our hopes and expectations. Unlike many contractors, he is a very good communicator and kept us up-to-date and in the loop throughout. Could not recommend them more highly.

Team was very professional. Shawn provided recommendations, drawings and walked me through everything. Then the team came and was super professional, on time, and did a great job. Will definitely be using them again. Did mantel, stone, backsplash and everything looks great!

Before finding Shawn, I spent a lot of time researching ideas, doing my own designs, it didn't get me anywhere. Shawn's very experienced, patient, and did an amazing job on the design. He made very good use of every inch in my kitchen and made it so beautiful! I'm very happy with the work!

We had Shawn to design our kitchen, living room, guest bath, and master bath. (a) His designs really do look amazing as if they are out of a magazine. In my opinion, a mark of a good designer is one in which their design looks identical to the finished product. So far we've completed construction on both of the bathrooms and they look pretty darn close if not just the same as the design. (b) Usually contractors are notorious for being difficult to get a hold of or take a long time to reply when you have a question. Shawn did his best to answer our questions or concerns within 24 hours. We also never felt pressured by Shawn to do anything we didn’t feel comfortable doing. (c) Not only do his designs look high end, but the materials he procured could easily be found online and were actually surprisingly reasonable in cost. No point in having a great design if the materials end up being unaffordable for the client. We still have to finish the kitchen and living room, but so far he's been a pleasure to work with!

I contracted Create Interior Design to do the design work for my master bathroom remodel. I found Create Interior Design through Houzz, and the examples of his designs were aligned my taste. Shawn was very responsive as soon as I contacted him via Houzz. He scheduled an onsite consultation and took extra time and care while at my home to understand our requirements. I have a small space and the original master bathroom has an open space to the vanity area and to the left an enclosed space for the toilet and shower. I wanted one big master bathroom that had a tub for soaking, a separate shower, double vanity, and enclosed toilet room. I know, a tall order, given the limited space and options for expansion. However, Shawn DELIVERED! Not only did he give me three layout options, but he also gave us his recommendation on the most optimal and explained why. My husband and I took a while to decide as we also had a second opinion about layout, just to ensure we were getting the most optimal layout for our space. Shawn was patient with us and never rushed or pushed us. In the end we trusted Shawn and went with the option he recommended. We then sent him examples of bathroom designs we liked and he took about 1.5 weeks to deliver the final design in 3D. When we saw the final design we were BLOWN away! My husband and I have similar taste and know what we like, but having to decide the details would take us forever. Shawn’s design incorporated everything we liked and put our ideas together in a way that exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a designer and a one stop shop from design to construction and project management, Create Interior Design is the place to go! Although I will not be using them for the construction work (I already have a contractor), based on how great Shawn has been to work with, he has proved to me that he would be an amazing partner for the entire work of the project.

Awesome kitchen design and remodel experience from this very friendly and detail oriented company. I liked how they managed the construction project from start to finish and how they were willing to provide accommodations whenever needed. We ended up slightly changing our minds on a design concept midway through the project and the designers were experienced enough to adapt to this without it causing a significant increase in our financial commitments.
