We had an excellent experience converting our garage into an ADU with Creative Home Remodeling. Our initial contractor, after the initial permits were approved, raised the cost of their bid. Creative Home Remodeling came in with a bid lower than the original and with a faster timeline so we went with them. Additionally, David and crew said they would be able to maintain the vaulted ceiling, which the previous contractor said was not possible. This extra effort to try and meet our needs, definitely made a difference. From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with Creative Home Remodeling. The team was very professional, focused on quality and we were always updated on progress and next steps. The project was completed on time and we are very very happy with the way it turned out. Highly recommend Creative Home Remodeling if you are considering a garage to ADU conversion.

Ben & his team were on point throughout my entire remodeling process, from the ideation through to the final installation. Ben was super responsive to all my (many) questions and very available. I was in need of redoing the shower in my bathroom. It had developed a leak in the valve behind the tile. The tile was original to the house. So, I needed to have a complete tear-out and re-tiling of the shower as well as the bathroom floor. I got 4 estimates and I decided on Creative Home Remodeling Group. I dealt mainly with Ben, the general contractor. I had told him my reservations in using a general contractor from years past. Ben made sure that all of my concerns were met to my satisfaction. He communicated with me from start to finish. He worked around my work schedule. There were a couple of hiccups along the way, but they were dealt with in a timely manner. All in all, it was well-handled and all the trades involved made sure to clean up each day. The tile and painting were wee done, as well as the plumbing and initial tear-out of the tile and vanity and the toilet. I really appreciated everyone involved to make this job as seamless as possible. The bathroom looks really nice. Thank you.

Painters, cabinet workers, drywaller, and floor persons were good at what they did pleasant and left the work area clean each day when there was a “wrinkle“ I was able to call David and it was taken care of in a timely manner. I remodeled my kitchen and a bathroom with David and Kris. They stepped in after I had a contractor do some really shoddy work. The results from Creative are stunning. I am so happy with my new kitchen and my new bathroom. And Kris is so kind, thoughtful, and down to earth. He is such a calming presence, and always tries his best to get you what you want. My husband and I really enjoyed working with Ben and his team at Creative Home Remodeling Group. Ben oversaw everything from making the plans, getting them approved by the city, scheduling the entire build and doing all final inspections. We really appreciate how communicative Ben was with what day and a time window we could expect the different work groups to come and what work would be done those days. If my husband or I ever had questions or problems with anything that was going on during our construction we were encouraged to call Ben and he helped create a solution that was workable for all of us. We liked that Ben and his team took care of everything from beginning to end and we did not have to hire any additional contractors along the way. We did have to purchase the specific fixtures and tiling we wanted.) We added apx 200 sq feet to our home, which included a bathroom, walk-in closet and room extension. The total process took exactly 1 year from signing our contract to us being able to use our added rooms. (That included making the plans, getting them approved by the city, the build, the installation and final walkthrough with the city inspector.) I have never done a renovation before and decided to start with my master bathroom. I chose Creative Home Remodeling Group online after reading reviews and comparing to other companies. I submitted a request for a quote and someone called back immediately and made an appointment with me. Ben was the project manager that came to my home to look at my project and give his suggestions regarding possibilities for the room. He was cordial, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He submitted his written proposal in a timely fashion and I quickly made the decision to proceed with this company. What impressed me most about Ben is his attention to detail and his communication skills. He called me almost everyday of the remodel and was onsite all the time. His team of skilled workers were awesome and I was very happy with their work. We had a slight delay with the timeline as we failed the first inspection. It had nothing to do with the work, but rather an old school inspector that was unnecessarily over diligent. That set us back a week, but we still completed the project by Thanksgiving which was my goal. Ben worked extra hard to make this happen and I was extremely grateful. Overall, I would highly recommend this company and I plan to use them again for a future project next year. I've heard horror stories about contractors, but Ben was was great! This was my first major remodeling project. I had never worked with a contractor before, and I was worried about trusting my house and investing a considerable amount of money with somebody I had never met before. I interviewed some contractors, and I wasn't happy that they wanted to sell me what they had, rather than listening to me and helping me develop a design that could fulfill my expectations and accommodate my budget. I contacted Creative Home Remodeling and I liked them from the beginning because they listened to me, and showed professionalism and respect from the first day. I worked most of the time with their manager, Ido (Kris). Ido clearly has a lot of experience in the business, and he helped me develop ideas that ended up in the beautiful interior design that I have now. Ido and the CHR's team came up with a solution to modify the structure of my home, so I could turn the kitchen, dining room and living room into a large open space. At first I didn't think it would be possible - but they came up with the right solution and executed it efficiently and in the estimated time. I was also worried at the beginning about out of control costs - I had heard many horror stories from other people before. But CHR proved to be fair and worked with me when unexpected issues appeared. We negotiated a scope of work and a written estimate from the beginning, and I didn't pay a dollar over what was negotiated. There were budget overruns - but they came from issues that were not possible to see before starting the work. Ido was clear at the beginning that, because the house is old, he didn't know what he may uncover once he removed the walls and the underfloor, and there could be extra expenses. These extra expenses came from things like uncovering a very uneven subfloor, replacing a 70 year old iron sewer, adding structure to bring things up to code, and a few other minor things. But CHR was always willing to work with me on the pricing, and I found them to be pretty fair. I have to say - the sticker price seemed steep at the beginning, and adding the overruns was a strain on my budget. But in the end, you get what you pay for. CHR delivered what they promised they would deliver. Ido was always on top of things, listened to all my concerns and responded very efficiently and professionally to what I asked for. Being an engineer myself, I can be strict when focusing on details, but Ido always accommodated my requests (as long as they were reasonable, of course). I was also very happy that the house was finished in the promised timeframe. Before starting the job. There were a few minor delays because of the issues that we discovered during the construction, but overall, the project was finished on time and at a reasonable cost. My house now looks like a new house, and I'm enjoying it every day. I will definitely recommend Creative Home Remodeling to anybody that is thinking of doing a remodeling job, big or small.

5.0 star rating We've been in our Lakewood home over 27 years and finally made the decision to put our "60's kitchen out to pasture. We had three good contractors bid for this project. We were most impressed by Ben of Creative Home Remodeling Group. His enthusiasm, attention to detail and follow-thru remained constant from concept to completion. Ben overperformed and under promised. His crew of company contractor specialists have been with him for years, and their rapport and communication showed in the finished project. He was on site and/or in phone contact with them and us constantly. They finished ahead of time with Ben staying on task through each stage and to final inspection. No reflection on Ben or his company, but us being a first- time user of a contractor's services, we were a little green about the process, the quotation and what to expect. It is often said to add 20% to the bid for unexpected costs. There were two legitimate additions that couldn't be anticipated. They were fully explained and understood. It is important for anyone doing this, to make good notes and keep in mind what the bidder is contracting to provide and what your responsibilities will be. Ben made this clear from the start-nothing hidden. Many items required us to go to the vendor, choose, and to pay directly, outside the bid parameters. These items-specifically: the vinyl flooring, the quartz counter tops and backsplash, sink, faucet and disposal being the main ones. For the most part, only the highest expense (the cabinets) was factored into the quotation. My wife and I would use Ben and Creative Remodel again and recommend him and his Studio City company without reservation.

It is almost impossible to find the right words to describe just how pleased we are with the work Ben Sviri and his team from Creative Home Remodeling Group did for us during our recent bathroom remodeling project. We are very happy with their excellent work. At the beginning they gave us a very comprehensive assessment of what we needed to do to accomplish our goals, and they provided a detailed and competitive bid. From the outset, and throughout the project, Ben provided excellent communication, answered our all our questions, and responded to our needs in a timely, thorough and flexible manner. All along the way, he informed us in advance about the steps and timeframes in the process. He orchestrated this complex process with great deftness. We didn’t need the inspector’s comments to know that they had done a good job, but his glowing remarks on the final product affirmed our own assessment. We were also very pleased that the project was completed within the timeframe we had agreed upon. Despite a couple of delays that were unforeseen and not their fault, Ben was able to accelerate the schedule so that it could be done on time. One often hears people say, “the proof is in the pudding.” The pudding, our new bathroom, is great. It looks great, and it’s functional. It’s better than what we imagined. In the last 10 years, my family has dealt with multiple contractors across different projects. From back yard remodeling to a wet bar conversion and now a COMPLETE downstairs remodel. To say that my previous experiences with contractors was not great would be an understatement. In fact, I was so concerned when we decided to remodel our downstairs that I interviewed multiple contractors with my guard up. Kris from CHRG was one and let me tell you from Day 1, he was honest, caring and made sure that he kept his word the entire way. These guys have my HIGHEST recommendation. We had a blockage somewhere in our plumbing line and couldn't use our upstairs toilet for over a year. Our contractor Ben Sviri from Creative Home Remodeling Group came out to our condo with his plumber to assess it. Not only did they find the blockage (PVC pipe), they also removed it and patched it up the same day! We definitely recommend them with any home project you may have.

I hired Creative Home Remodeling Group for my kitchen redo. Ben Sviri was our contractor and he did an amazing job! He and his team of highly qualified people made the process seem easy and they were on top of every detail. They showed up on time and cleaned up everything before they left each day. My kitchen turned out beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with it!

Kris was so nice to work with during this two month kitchen remodel during the hottest time of year. The job consisted of demolition of the kitchen and tile flooring throughout the dining room kitchen and entryway. Replacement of flooring with porcelain floor tile was done, along with electrical update, including new sub panel, lights and hood. Countertops are Daltile quartz and included three slabs of 2 cm. Plumbing included a farmhouse appearance, including a new American Standard single compartment sink, semi-professional faucet and 1.25 HP garbage disposal. As for cabinetry, a third party installed RTA cabinets, which did not seem to be semi-custom, due to fitment and problems with farmhouse sink fit. This review would have been five stars if cabinets were made better and fitment accounted for farmhouse sink appearance.

I used Creative Remodeling Group for my kitchen remodel. Ben Sviri was the contractor in charge of my project. What I loved most was that when Ben said he was going to do something, he did it! He and his team arrived when they said they would. They were respectful of our family and our house and did everything they could to be as unobtrusive as possible. When they were done for the day they cleaned up everything and left it orderly. The project was done within the time frame that I was told. They demolished my old countertops without breaking one tile of my backsplash. They placed the joint between the countertop slabs appropriately and undetected. We hired Creative Home Remodeling to remodel our hall bathroom. The project included canceling a stand-up shower, re-tiling the tub area, adding a shower, new vanity, lighting, and adding built-in storage. From beginning to end, our project manager Ben was incredibly responsive. He listened to our requests and concerns and always handled them with care and understanding. This is the third contractor we've hired for this house and they were by far the best. Best in communication and quality. They handled the permit and inspection process like a breeze. Also, any GC is only as good as their subs and every trade showed up on time, was respectful and did nice work. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone.

They rebuilt my 2nd story balcony/deck to match the old look and they did a great job! I chose to go with Trex (wood-alternative composite) for the flooring so that it would last longer and be impervious to termites and water damage. The installation and subsequent painting look great. Very happy with the result and highly recommend this company.

CHR completely remodeled our old 1950's kitchen. Even though it is a small kitchen, it was a complex job, due to the layout change, sub-floor and window replacements, as well as extending one of the walls. Kris, the project manager, was very flexible and did an excellent job coordinating the work as well as helping out with design features. The job was completed timely (despite city inspection delays) and without issues. We're over the moon with our new kitchen and happy to have selected CHR for the job.

We were referred to Kris through a friend who also used Creative Home Remodeling for their beautiful home in Palos Verdes. We received 3 bids for our project and we're impressed with David and Kris from the start. We had some initial delays due to city permits, but Kris was great at setting expectations as this is our first home and first remodel project. Once we were approved to start work, Kris and his team did everything they could to make up for lost time and hit our move-in timeline. We did a full remodel of our new home. Removed walls, added beams, new kitchen, added a master suite addition off the back with master bathroom and walk-in closet, new floors throughout, new roof, new electrical, deck in the backyard, and interior and exterior paint. As mentioned before, this was our first rodeo when it comes to a home construction project and Kris was patient with us throughout the whole process. He was very helpful with design elements, and vendor and material suggestions to keep costs down. And like most older home purchases, we did run into some surprises...like a leaky roof, outdated electrical and uneven floors. The company completed pavers and hardscaping project for our driveway, backyard and walkway. David Eliyahu, who was our contact person was professional and always available when we have questions and concerns.

We needed to add a pitched roof to our atrium and convert it into a sunroom with two solar-powered skylights. Frankly, before we found Yaniv, we almost gave up on the project as two other contractors came either with an insanely pricy estimate or commit to it but disappeared all of a sudden. I was quite lucky to find Yaniv who did the project for me on time and within my budget. He gave me a good estimate the same day, followed up with me the second day for details and started working the day after. Yaniv was very patient, and accommodative to all the details that I wanted and even a couple of changes/extras I asked after the project had started, and never intended to raise price. All his workers (framers, roofers, installers) are friendly, professional and very detail oriented. It has been 8am-6pm working non-stop for three days. Work was beautifully done, even better than what I had imagined. We have done lots of home improvement projects in the last few years. I’d say Yaniv a top notch contractor with integrity, good communication skills, and work ethics. By fate or luck, I had the opportunity to find Creative Home Remodeling Group. A major leak from an upstairs unit caused a flood in my bathroom and closets. When I called Creative Home Remodeling, Candy took the time to explain the process of restoration and refurbishing. Because of the pandemic, it took me a couple of months more to get back to them. Kris came out and also took his time explaining what was to be done and also carefully listening to what I would like to be done. His advice was very helpful. This project was a new experience for me, and I appreciated his confidence and patience. Kris and his workers’ attention throughout the process made this remodel much less stressful. Despite a few minor flaws, Creative Home Remodeling did an impeccable job: replacing the whole laminated floor of the house, did the drywall and painting the hallway, replacing all the locks of the bedrooms and closets, fixing the bathrooms, and installing a new beautiful vanity and mirror in the first bathroom and pour Hot-mop on the shower floor side, and install new tile and glass door. My main contact was Mario who is very conscientious and fulfilled my requests very professionally. And best of all, the work was completed on time without dragging. I will be happy to refer David, the owner, to my friends and neighbors and definitely will hire Creative Home Remodeling again should any future need arises for my home.

We have had David and the crew from Creative Home Remodeling Group do three large projects for us. They first extended our garage. We received many compliments on that project because they took the time to make it match our existing home. Next we added two bedrooms and a bathroom to the back of our home. Again the design and final product match our home perfectly. Our recent project was an extension of our roofline on the back of the house to give us a nice covered patio. Our only regret was not thinking of it when the addition was done. At that time we we happy with the final look and decided to extend the roofline on our front porch too. It was getting full sun and was always too hot. We are very pleased with the work Creative Home does for us. We have a couple small jobs left and will be calling them for that too. Great works from plans to final!

Creative Home Remodeling Group came into our home to give us a quote on a job that had been abandoned by another contractor. They had the winning bid, we got the winning contractor! After accepting the bid we were given a written schedule, on the contract, of when the job should be completed. Construction contracts have a soft close because of unforeseen issues that could arise. This was a take over job that had left us without full bathroom facilities for too long. We needed truth in business and reliability in labor. We got that and more. I felt, from the day Roee came in to bid on the job, that he really was sincere about making us whole again. The job was done in the time frame laid out and the workmanship is of the greatest quality. We are so happy with the work that Creative Home Remodel Group did, that we have hired them to remodel our kitchen as well. The design shown to us is just what I had in mind (I do the cooking). I decided to convert my garage into a ADU building, to get extra space. I worked with Kris and his Architect from Creative Home Remodeling on the design and plans. After we got the plans approved back from the city Kris started to build my new space based on his design. We added a small kitchen with a living space and nice bathroom. We worked with Max and David on the design and details of our projects (New Kitchen and Two Bathrooms, Floor and more.We Recieved from them a 3D design how our Kitchen and our Master Bathroom will look like. I took several estimates in order to renovate my kitchen and i was very skeptical on who to hire as I heard a lot of story about jobs not being finished or done properly. Most of the contractors I met were somewhat pushy and I wasn't convinced or in a hurry to get it done. Until I met Max from the creative home remodeling group. He was friendly, professional and helpful throughout the whole project. He managed to transform my kitchen from the design to the demolition and finally the installation very smoothly. The workers came every day, work was done on time. Max has done the best remodeling in my house, hands-down! And i will surely contact him and Creative Home Remodeling in a few months to renovate my upstairs bathroom! Creative Home Remodeling Group has done two large projects for us including an addition of two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a dining room. We are pleased with the work and are planning our next project with them. They also have a great architect who does a nice layout of additions. Best thing I can say is we will work with them again.

We moved into an 80-year-old Spanish style house that had many challenges that were not picked up in the house inspection. Nevertheless we have been able to address all of these deficiencies with the terrific assistance of Creative Home Remodeling. They were initially supposed to just put into powder rooms and repurpose a rabbits' warren of closets. However, the project greatly expanded when we found – with Sebastian's help – that we had gas leaks in our master bathroom. That of course was dangerous and required completely renovating the master bath. We have since added other construction work including redoing our driveway because we been so delighted with the quality of the work that they are team provides. We are especially enthusiastic about Kris's work - who is a creative genius, incredibly responsive, and detail oriented. Our driveway in particular is spectacular even though it was challenging because it is a steep slope. The master bathroom is gorgeous and I hope they will post a picture to prove it. We have had a great deal of experience of contractors and I would rate them as one of the best – honest and attentive as well as fine workmanship.

Aside from having a stunning kitchen and bath in the end, here is what really struck me about this company and why I would go back in a heartbeat: 1. The team was there from morning until night every day. They did not miss a beat and worked extremely hard. 2. The contractor was onsite almost every single day. 3. David and I both set very clear expectations about timeline and we both adhered to that timeline. He communicated with me about what he needed from me in terms of selecting materials, and he also communicated about issues that came up that caused the timeline to be adjusted. 4. The communication was good all around. The office team was incredibly cordial and responsive. 5. They did a killer job of working with my insurance company. 6. Aside from minor cosmetic issues that they have very happily taken care of, I've had no issues and have now been in my house for 6 weeks. A friend of mine hired Creative Home Remodeling Group shortly after I did, and she also raves about how wonderful they are. Honestly, after all is said and done, it's so wonderful to be back in my house, but I kind of miss having them around. That assures me that it was a really great experience. Description of Work: We had an extensive leak in our kitchen and an unfavorable mold report that required us to move quickly. After to talking to a couple of contractors, we discovered that among mold remediation and some cabinet replacement, we really needed an entire kitchen remodel since everything was original 1949 work. We felt the most comfortable with David at Creative Home Remodeling. He was willing to work with our homeowners insurance provider and was very up front and honest about the what needed to be done and where we could save money. His costs seemed reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done, and so we decided to remodel both the kitchen and the master bath at the same time.

We interviewed many companies for our kitchen remodel before going with Creative Home Remodeling but once meeting with Max we knew he was the way to go. His price was competitive and you could tell he wanted to do a great job for us. As with any home improvement project, some issues are expected but we were shocked at how smoothly everything went. We had a big job including knocking down a load bearing wall and putting up a beam. Our kitchen was very old and outdated so we had lots for the crew to get done. You hear horror stories of a project started and then the contractors disappear. We had workers here every single day getting our kitchen accomplished. And the biggest shocker of all: they completed the kitchen on time! Yep, I said it. On time. We absolutely love our new kitchen and would highly recommend Creative Home Remodeling.

We started with one bathroom remodel, and it went very well. Max helped us select the tile and fixtures and his workers finished the job on time. The job went so well that we had them do the 2nd bathroom. Max, Effie, and the rest of the crew did a professional job and we are very pleased with the results. After one estimate only I decided to remodel my kitchen and dining room with creative home remodeling group. They have a professional guys working for them and the have excellent system , from the day I approved for them the sketch and Cabint door design to demolish my kitchen all the way to finish job we had three intensive weeks and the all project was done completely.I was very impressed and I can tell the have experience . We just finished Remodeling our kitchen With Creative Home Remodeling Group and we are so Happy With This Company. Kris and David from Creative was the one we signed the Contract with and the one that supervised all of the project. He did an excellent job ,He gave us the perfect design and great supervision on the job. During the remodeling Kris was at our house almost every day to manage his guys. David the owner of the company was awesome . his company remodel almost my entire house it looks brand new now I'm very happy and satisfied; he even came back years later to fix some problem areas we started doing business with him in 2010 and still doing business now. We have used Creative Home Remodeling for 3 major projects, one of which is still in progress: 1) kitchen complete demo and remodel, 2) master bathroom complete demo and remodel, and 3) building a home theatre with a full bathroom inside from an unfinished basement. We are very impressed with them!!! From the initial process through the very end of every project, they were professional and made sure that we were happy customers. There were a few hiccups and miscommunications along the way - but I think this would happen with any contractor - the reason I still give them 5 stars is that at the end of the day, it was their priority to make us happy, and that we are! The name of their company could not be more perfect. They are indeed creative and that is why we chose them. In the beginning of the process for our kitchen, they came over to give us a quote and take measurements for a sketch. They were the only contractors out of the three that we interviewed that suggested we add drop lights, change the shape of the island, and make better use of our pantry space. Throughout the process, they were very responsive and got things done QUICK. There were very few work days that no one was working - almost every day was a work day and this was appreciated. Each project took no more than 2 months to complete. I also appreciated that during the demo-phase of our kitchen which is central in our house, they built a wooden barrier so that no dust would escape - this was especially nice since we had a newborn at the time. All of the contractors were very professional and they had a port-o-potty outside so they didn't have to use our bathroom. Overall, we are VERY happy. Thank you, Kris, David, Candy, and everyone else on the Creative Home Remodeling Group team! We can't wait to finish the home theatre and watch movies on the big screen!

I dream about this kitchen in my last 38 year, finally Creative Home Remodeling came to my life and made my dream came true. We love our ADU that was built by Creative Homes. David is wonderful to work with, always pleasant with helpful ideas and tips. He helped us to bring into existence the vision we had. It has a beautiful kitchen, vaulted ceilings with skylights and good storage. He helped us utilize the space we had to work with. His crew is also very conscientious. Starting with Jose the foreman, Effie who has an eye for great detail. Rudy, Alberto and his father and the rest of the gang. Creative Home Remodeling did an outstanding job in remodeling one of my bathrooms. The work included complete demolition, new tile, new custom vanity, new fixtures and plumbing for my shower, electrical, painting and every little detail to complete the project. My main contact person at Creative was Kris who was always responsive when I had any questions. The project was completed on time and the quality of the work was excellent. The cost of the project was significantly lower than other bids I received. I would highly recommend them.

We received multiple estimates and ended up going with Creative Home because: 1. Their cost estimate was really good; 2. We reached out to someone who used them and she gave a glowing review and 3. They were all just really nice and seemed like decent people. We are SO glad we went with them. They finished the project on time and within budget (what a concept). They are extremely responsive and would return a text or call very quickly. They were also really good about explaining what was happening (especially with the permitting process and engineer work). They also stand by their work-- I had an issue come up and they came by pretty quickly and fixed it. If I ever remodel anything else in my home, I will definitely use them again, no questions asked!
