Shawn Curran and his crew did a complete top to bottom renovation of our home in Prides Crossing during 2005 through 2006. They did a beautiful job. Since that time we have called upon Shawn’s expertise on numerous occasions and always received the best advice and assistance anyone could ask for. We would highly recommended Curran & Sons for any project large or small.

Curran & Sons came to my rescue when we were hit with a very snowy winter, causing huge piles of snow to pile up on the roof of my three story home. Shawn and his staff were very responsive and quickly took care of the issue. I was especially impressed by the level of safety steps taken ( the crew roped themselves off so that no one would fall) and there was no residual damage to my roof. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent work and workmanship. Shawn and his team did a fantastic job on the renovation project in my historic home. From structural repairs that were uncovered at demolition to the final finish work, the quality and attention to detail were amazing. Every company he sub-contracted with was also of the same high caliber. The woodworking shop was a great resource. They took an idea based on a glass door and a sketch on a scrap of paper to a beautiful built in china cabinet that looks like it was part of the original dining room. I highly recommend Curran and Sons and hope to work with Shawn again on future projects.

My wife and I were pleased with the high quality and details that Curran provided for the new addition. Mr. Curran worked well with our architect and attended weekly meeting for review of renovation project. Whenever there was a problem with emergency, he was always able to have someone come in to fix it.

After deciding to work with the custom cabinet company that we had hired due to communication problems and missed deadlines, we looked to our designer (Kristina Crestin Design) for a recommendation. Shawn Curran was the first person she recommended. While Shawn's primary business is custom homes, he also has a custom cabinetry and millwork business, Northshore Custom Woodworking. After having learned about Shawn's quality of work and customer service, I expected that his pricing would be substantially higher than the previous firm, and the three other bids we had received. In fact, he was exceedingly reasonable. More importantly, in the many meetings we had with Shawn and Peter, they were extraordinarily helpful and flexible in the design. Several times, they made changes or fixed issues that weren't theirs (a sub wrote on a cabinet and Peter sanded and refinished the drawer) and we decided last minute to do a wooden range hood cover rather than metal (and they produced it within days). I couldn't be happier with Shawn, Peter, Melanie and the team, and look forward to working with them on woodworking and more in the future.
