Putting a pool in our backyard proved to be a more complicated task than we first visualized, due to some issues that arose during the excavation process. The crew ran into hard rock where we didn’t expect it, as well as some groundwater. Even while I was panicking, Ray was already solving both issues and moving the project forward. The crew did well working around utility lines, and planned ahead to work around the weather. In the end, the pool was done on schedule and on budget. And yes, having our own pool is as awesome as I’d hoped.

DevArt Construction helped us completely remodel our kitchen. They removed the tiles and replaced them with a beautiful hardwood floor, and upgraded to all new cabinets and countertops. This is a project we could never have managed on our own. Weeks later, I still am amazed every time I walk into the kitchen at just what a huge transformation it’s been. We’re going to be contacting Ray again soon to talk about putting in a different backsplash and maybe updating our kitchen lighting. We hired DevArt 8 to remodel our outdated kitchen and main bathroom. Going into it we were nervous since we'd never done a renovation project before. However, the team allayed our concerns and made the process smooth for us newbies. Our lead designer Eve listened attentively during the planning stages. We chose styles and a color scheme we love. Once underway, the work crew kept disruption to a minimum even working around our schedule when needed. A couple minor hiccups occurred as expected - a tile backsplash edge that needed redone and a cabinet door installed slightly crooked. But Ben promptly fixed both issues. We appreciated how they partnered with us from demolition to the final walkthrough in about 6 weeks. The finished remodel exceeded our hopes. It’s evident skilled craftspeople did the job. Ben from DevArt8 was great at assessing our project and accurately quoting the job. We have tried to save time and hired an external architect firm for creating the city blueprints we needed; But we found out that this was long and tedious nightmare. Ben immediately took control with his planning team and succeed to expedite the process for getting our permits. The project took little longer then expected due engineering mistakes and some revisions we needed to do; But overall we are very grateful for Ben and Devart8 for helping us to build our dream home. Devart8 construction crew are very talented craftsmen. We had a vision of using our existing powder room location to build a new bathroom. We didn’t want to change too much framing work because we had our old water tank heater there. When I would send text messages and pictures they didn’t understand quite what I was talking about but when they came over and I could explain better in person they planned it out and executed all my ideas flawlessly. When my husband and I asked for a detail to be changed they did it without any hesitation or questions and it was perfect. Melissa was the coordinator but Johani and his crew are the creative masters. The best part was that they were able to stay on budget and finish in our agreed timeline. I work from home and appreciated that that they would be respectful of that and make sure to work around me being at home.
