Kitchen remodel with pretty good quality. Worked with us on design and budget (and stayed on budget). Personable workers and kept the house clean.

My husband and I are pleased to write a review on DreamCatcher Remodeling. We hired DreamCatcher (Johnathin Antis, owner) to do an extensive remodel of our 30 year old home. In his initial meeting with us, John listened to our goals for the remodel and was very open to answering our many questions about how he worked, his projected timeframe, payment schedules and qualifications, etc. Johnathin’s bid was clear and his transparent process was welcomed.
We found Johnathin to be honest, trustworthy, thorough, open to collaboration and knowledgeable in all areas of construction with a high sense of customer service; qualities that are reflected in a crew that meets his standards for excellence. As a bonus for us, Johnathin has a keen eye for color and design, which helped us out immensely with the many decisions we had to make during our remodel. John does not upsell. He listened to us, familiarized himself with our tastes and budget, offered suggestions when asked and even found time to accompany us to choose tile for the bathrooms and kitchen.
Our remodel started out as a kitchen, and three bathrooms, a utility room and hardwood flooring. As we saw the quality of his work, we entrusted him to expand our remodel to replace, stain and trim out all of our doors, replace our family room slider and window, oversee the hardwood floor contractor that we wanted to use, improve lighting and upgrade wiring in all rooms, create a bump out in our master bath that I liked on Houzz, and remove half of a wall in our kitchen to increase natural light and give a feeling of spaciousness to the house. His crew was reliable, courteous, thoughtful of the neighbors and of our private space (we were in house during the remodel), on time every day and staggered the work so that there was little to no down time. They cleaned up every day.
We couldn’t be happier with our ‘new home’ – and will call on DreamCatcher without hesitation when we rebuild our deck, or have other projects that come up.

A 4 to 5 week kitchen renovation, with a basic granite countertop with chiseled edges, sprayed cabinets, $6,500.00, small ceiling restructuring, "cerused floor," that was promised but never achieved and resulted in our wood floors being sanded 4 times with no wood left, we paid for our own applicances and signed a $27,000.00 contract which resulted in 9 months without a functioning kitchen and eating outside for almost all of 2014. The contractor turned invisible. His subcontractors painted our floors blue and shoved in our fridge without painting behind it, one of his subcontractors advised another subcontractor to paint in the white spots on the floor with a black sharpie pen, the granite people did uneven and unmatched counters and edges and spilt chemicals on the newly painted cabinets, which were not primed or sanded and are all different colors and chip at the slightest touch for $6500. Our contractor after we signed the contract told us he was leaving for a third world country for three weeks and put us in the hands of somebody we never met, who then managed to damage everything he touched. We spent 8 or 9 times at hotels while they were trying to repair our floors that we paid for. He did reluctantly pay for new wood floors but the tile that was unique to our floors had to be replaced due to all the chemical and paint spills his superior contractors did, which we paid for. He then stopped responding and left us floundering to try and finish and fix his messes. We still have to get our house key back. We had to find other businesses to fix his messes. Never again. We told him this was money that was left by my husbands' dead father as a gift. I could go on and on but this is just a bit of this trainwreck. No heart.
