After a flood devestated our home and community Tom Ashley and Expand, Inc. came to our rescue. We love our “new” and updated home! Tom and his team worked tirelessly to make our dreams and visions come true.

I was very disappointed and heartbroken. What I was told was not what I received . They are smooth talkers that do not deliver what they promise.

This was my second experience with Expand. In late 2013 the company did a complete kitchen and master bath remodel. When our house flooded in August 2016, we went back to Expand knowing we could expect a quality restoration of our property. It was a huge job and they were stretched thin because of the massive flooding and rebuilding in our area which caused shortages in labor and materials. Still, we were back at home in 9 months, before most of our also flooded neighbors. Tom and his team were always promptly available to discuss concerns. Their employees and sub-contractors were experienced and proficient.. We are so pleased with the results.

We have worked along side the team at Expand, Inc multiple times over the years. There is no business more committed to the industry, their clients, and their professionalism. We truly value our relationship with Tom and his team. Baton Rouge is lucky to have such knowledgeable, hard working, and genuine contractors.

Tom Ashley and his team always do outstanding work. We have worked with him throughout the years on several projects and have always felt he was very professional, knowledgeable and diligent. We are currently working on a jobs with A LOT of our beams being installed and we know the work will turn out beautifully!

During 2016, we contacted Tom Ashley at Expand, Inc. for an estimate To renovate and remodel our residential Master-Bath. After meeting with Tom and his architect, we submitted a detailed plan for the re-model/renovation, and ultimately contracted with Expand, Inc. for the remodel. In retrospect, my wife and I made an extremely wiise decision for this project. Tom Ashley, his daughter (office manager), Jessie, the staff at Expand, as well as their devoted sub-contractors were all completely Professional and dedicated to doing the entire re-model to the highest standard. The master-bath is now a Masterpiece! At anytime before, during and after the project, we were always able to contact Tom and Jessie with our questions and concerns, and always received a timely and accurate response. Expand, Inc. can be compared to a well Seasoned Symphony, because they are able and willing to compose, perform and complete all of the many parts of the remodel to the endpoint of being Great success and a thing of beauty! I can only give the highest possible recommendations to EXPAND, Inc., for your remodeling needs. Also, his mill-works, named Taylor Made, Inc., owned by Roy Taylor, Who built the custom and large vanity assembly, tub surround, and towel storage cabinet, all made from Brazillian Cherry wood, are all things of extreme beauty and perfection, and are practical in use and wonderful to behold. Thanks again to Tom, his staff and subcontractors at EXPAND, Inc., for a seemlessly, well done remodel, that is also beautiful and practical. Expand, Inc. did 2 projects for us within the last couple years. One was somewhat lengthy & involved: renovating a kitchen, moving walls, adding a mother-in-law suite, renovating 2 bathrooms, etc. The Ashleys and all the subs did a great job of working with us, while we lived trhough the reno; as well as providing excellent, quality work throughout! The second project was totally re-doing and upgrading a guest bath. Even with the local trades being "flooded" literally and figuratively after our August deluge, Tommy III and crew finished the project in 4 weeks! Another top-notch job well done. We were very pleased with Expand's work, flexibility in working through issues and would not hesitate at all in recommending them to anyone!

I can't say enough good things about Expand and its great team of professionals. We've been fortunate to have them complete two jobs for us - an extensive renovation of most of our home and a year and a half later, renovation of our guest bathroom. The first renovation involved moving and knocking out walls, doors, and expanding the house. The project took nine months and, because we chose to continue living in the house during the project, involved enduring a lot of inconvenience and discomfort. Tom Ashley, his brother Randy Ashley, and their crew worked very hard to minimize the discomfort and inconvenience and they couldn't have been easier to work with. Once the job was finished, they continued to fix minor issues that came up, long after any punch list items were taken care of. Randy Ashley still drops by every now and then to say hello. We got him to build a fence for us and he and Bubba even installed a Little Free Library that an Eagle Scout had built for me! Our second renovation was just completed. Despite the recent flooding in Baton Rouge and the surrounding area, Tom assured me they could get the job done without having to put it off till a later time. He put his son Tommy Ashley (Tommy 3) in charge. We started demolition on a Tuesday morning and four weeks later we had a fully functional "new" bathroom! Each time we encountered an obstacle, Tommy worked through it with us to resolve the problem, enabling construction to continue unimpeded. We are so pleased with the result! Expand uses the same subs and crew on every project - a very good sign of stability and reliability. The JSP carpentry crew, which does all of Expand's framing, cabinet and hardware installation, etc., headed by Bubba Pourcy, does excellent work. He and his colleagues can build anything and install anything! We have recommended Expand to several people and everyone who followed through with their own projects has been equally satisfied and pleased. I don't know that we'll ever undertake another major construction project, but if we do, Expand will be the only company we would consider working with.

We here at M&M Glass are very lucky to have collaborated with Expand on many projects over the years. They are incredibly talented, practical, and professional. We have worked with Expand Contracting on several bathroom renovations. Tom Ashley and his team are very accommodating and easy to work with. Tom exhibits a great interest in making each renovation a great experience for the client, as he tries to go beyond the scope of the job to give the client a little "lagnaippe" that they are not expecting. The Expand team promotes education in Universal Design (Aging in Place - CAPS) and are always trying to find ways to improve bathroom design.
