I have known Peter for many years. He helps me with the maintenance of my rental apartments in Binghamton NY. Peter and his team do a great job. He finds cost effective solutions that work within my budget. If I call with an emergency he and his team show right up to fix the problem. I have had Peter and his team work on plumbing, furnaces, painting, repairing doors, refinishing floors and many other issues maintaining my apartments and my own home. I have been extremely pleased with his work and I highly recommend him and his team.

Peter and his crew did a wonderful job building a large freestanding garage next to my converted barn, and converting the old garage space within the barn into a beautiful bedroom. He was great to work with, and I love the result!

Peter comes ready to work with tools, an experienced crew and passionate skill. We decided to save an old dilapidated Victorian in Owego. One of the last mansions on Front Street. Peter agreed and proceeded to transform a neglected cut up multi-family with a water damaged structure into a one family Victorian masterpiece. He and his guys worked non stop for two 9 month stretches and we cannot be happier. They were on the job everyday. Everyone that has seen the result of their labor is amazed by the transformation of a structure that in reality could have easily been torn down. Comments range from “we have never seen anything like this” to “simply spectacular” . From careful demolition to custom mahogany inlay and plaster ceiling medallions to historical plaster renovation to custom trim and carved woodwork to copper roofs, three porches, an amazing paint job and three bathrooms and a cherry kitchen FLC pulled out all the stops for this project. As the construction manager Peter hired all the required trades, ordered all the materials and kept the workplace flowing smoothly, made sure everyone was paid and happy. Always positive and discerning and remarkably transparent with costs, mark ups and fees, Peter has renewed our faith in the contracting world. . It has truly been an amazing journey albeit an expensive one, but Peter made us aware of all cost increases. Anyone thinking of engaging a contractor to do this scale of work should be cautioned to really do their homework on who they hire. We recommend Finish Line Contractors highly. This was our third house restoration with FLC. Our trust in Peter and FLC proven to be well worth it.

We reached out to Peter at Finish Line Contractors, and he got right back to us. After a delightful conference call with my husband and I, we could tell right away Peter was experienced. Which is exactly what we were looking for to rebuild our masonry fireplace. Peter was able to give us a reasonable quote from measurements and pictures we provided. We decided to wait for an opening in his schedule and are thankful we did. I cant say enough about how professional Peter and his crew at Finish Line. They were positive, intentional and must importantly showed up on time each day till the project was finished! They were clean, Polite and keep to the task. We ended up hiring Finish Line to remodel our guest bathroom. A job deemed too small by another contractor. But for Peter it's not the size of the job, it's how materials and skill can be used to bring out the best results that honor the home it's in. His masonry and carpentry skills are truly a gift Another thing I like about working with Peter is he was always accessible. Returns calls emails and texts almost instantly. He kept us informed and explained a few project overruns in terms of cost. Everything was in writing which is what my husband insisted on. All talk, no skill. Replaced a fireplace and wall enclosure. Made wall/fireplace way out of scale for room. Installed cut stone hearth, used wrong stone that will stain if anything gets on it. Cut stone upside down so weather stains all show. Fireplace takes up so much room we cant fit a normal sofa in there anymore. Covered up only outlet on wall. Room is so ugly I literally cant spend time in there anymore. Skip this incompetent amateur wanna-be contractor and hire a true professional.

Finish Line Contractors are the BEST!!! FIVE STARS I hired Peter to do some extensive work on my Cabin in the Western Catskills (Near Walton NY) and from the our initial conversations it was crystal that this man was really smart, a problem solver, creative and really knowledgeable about all things contracting. He attentively listened to my vision for creating a cabin that fused simple minimalism with modern appeals and amenities. He asked many questions and then set out to execute that vision with elevation by elevation brainstorm sessions. Once I knew that we were on the same page with respect to the vision for the cabin then Peter brought in his crew to make it happen. They went through this place like a contracting tsunami, working diligently everyday to get the job done. The project began with prepping for the buildings power wash which meant removing many items from the building that the previous owner had installed like satellite dishes, decorative animals and planters. After that was done Peter did a beautiful job of power washing the exterior during a serious rainstorm. He was like a machine!!! I have never seen anything like it before. It was 58 degrees outside (chilly) and torrentially raining while he did the job which took all day but he did not stop until he was satisfied with the quality of his work. It is clear that he holds himself and the quality of his work to the highest standards possible. He also shared his ideas for various aspects and stages of the project development that made the original vision even better than originally planned. For example, we were looking to add a splash of color around that house and had settled on a red front door but with Peter’s input we changed course and painted parts of the porch red instead. That pivot mades the front of the house look fantastic and modern like Louboutin Shoes!!! Peter is a mastermind and I could go on and on about how great of a job that he did on our cabin but I’ll let the photos do all the talking. I would like to also say that Finish Line Contractors were extremely responsive to my calls, scheduling, and were incredibly reliable. They were also so trustworthy that we gave him access to the house even when we weren't onsite so that he could get the work done on time. In the end, I feel very fortunate to have Finish Line Contractors do my renovation. They made the final result better than the original vision. I plan to use them for another build in the spring because the initial experience was so great. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, honest, hardworking visionary contractor that gets the job done right.

My husband and I are amateurs who will try almost anything. We framed in a propane fireplace in our living room, installed the cement board and bluestone hearth. But when it came time to install the weathered barnwood look veneer stone we were seriously apprehensive. Each time we discussed doing it there were too many what-if and how-will-we questions. We realized we were in over our heads. Pete swooped in and rescued us. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and exceptionally creative. He finished our fireplace for us in one day, adding - after discussing them with us - finishing touches we would never have considered. These made the final look so much more beautiful than we even imagined. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pete for any project. His work is amazing and he is wonderful to work with.

Pete was tasked with building a custom frame for an outdoor fireplace on our covered patio. He was completely professional and maintained constant communication throughout the process. He was diligent in his task and showed up when he said he would. I was included in all of the decision making, from design to production. Phase 1 is complete. I look forward to the completion of phases 2 and 3 which is the stone work and chimney. Pete would have had this completed as well were it not for a 2 month delay in obtaining the stone product we desired.
