Praise of Jed Hirsch General Building Contractor I have had the opportunity to work directly with Jed Hirsch twice after he was referred to me by another homeowner and two building contractors. I first met Jed when a homeowner I house-sit for was doing an expansion on their home. I was at the house during the deconstruction and construction of it. I can tell you that the site was clean, organized, and well designed from what I saw. As the family was living in the house during construction, steps were taken to keep the property as dust-free and secure as possible. Later, a house I worked at in Hope Ranch was in need of some major water abatement treatments due to poor construction ten years prior. To put it in perspective, most contractors shied away from this job. Others were just not qualified to complete the task. I then asked around to a couple of contractors that I know and Jed's name came up twice. Both said that homeowners love him as he is a sticker to details. Jed and his crew took on the tasks of removing and reinstalling large, two story windows, tearing out and reinstalling beautiful stone deck around half of the 12,000 square foot house, organizing and meeting with water abatement professionals, installing the suggested abatement materials, plastering walls to match the color of the existing walls, designing new sheet metal jambs... well, the list goes on, but I won't bore you with the details. To say the least, it was quite the undertaking, but the house was watertight once completed and it did not look like any reconstruction had been done. It should also be mentioned that Jed arranged the workload of the contractors so that they were not stepping over each other, thus causing making the project as cost efficient as possible and completed in a timely manner. Should I have other future construction needs, Jed will be on the top of my list of people to call.

Just finishing a major remodel with Jed - kitchen, bathrooms, new floors, moving walls, as well as all new landscaping including a pool, spa, decks, fire pit, etc. And honestly, I can't recommend Jed enough. Direct and honest. I won't say we never ran into a problem but when we did it was always immediately remedied. Jed was always very upfront about costs and very realistic about the timeline. His subs always seemed to be among the best in the business with people frequently commenting on the quality of the work. Obviously I'm a fan and would definitely hire him again. You really can't do better.

I have only good things to say about Jed. He did an amazing job. He's meticulous. He's on time with his sense of how long things will take. He's a perfectionist and creates only the highest quality work.

Jed Hirsch is a real professional. His results are perfect. They manage the construction extremely well, leaving the job site nice and clean at the end of every day. He also stands by his work and is immediately available to fix any problems you might encounter down the line. And on top of this, he is the most pleasant person to work with. I highly recommend him and his entire team!

In 2013 we started a complete remodel of a ranch house into a two story home. Jed was highly recommended to us by a neighbor who had done a similar project with him and was very satisfied. We feel very fortunate that we selected Jed. He is competent, reliable and absolutely trustworthy. Both he and his wife Kathy were a joy to work with, All the people that work for him were also highly competent, trustworthy and frankly just very nice people. I had first heard of Jed Hirsch through some people of a house I was watching. They loved working with him. Later, when the estate I work for needed repairs, I asked some contract labor friends whom they would trust for the work that needed to be completed. Jed Hirsch's name came up repeatedly and with good reason. He is just that good! Jed and his crew were wonderful to work with. I have highly recommended them to friends and plan to continue to do so whenever the moment arises. They showed up when they were expected, did the work required, thought about the process of making corrections to a house that was leaking prior to them being there and made suggestions for improves... which did improve the situation. Jed also has a great sense on how much time and money a project will take. The adage of "when working on a project for a house - double the time and money" does not apply to Jed. He is smart about how he approaches a project through completion. His experience has taught him how to consider obstacles that will come in the way and how to best get around, over, or through them. In a nutshell, I would not hesitate to hire Jed Hirsch again for any house construction or correction projects.

Jed and his team has remodeled two houses for me, completed a major remodel of an office, and built my home from the ground up (actually below ground considering the basement). I could not possibly speak highly enough about Jed and the team member that he surrounds himself with. Easy to work with, professional, and super high quality always.
