Priyam and her team are the best of the best, and we'd happily recommend them to anyone and everyone. We have done 4 renovation projects over the last 2 years, and I wish we would have found Priyam sooner. Our project with Konstructo was a complete gut and remodel of our kitchen. The final results are stunning, and overall the project was on-time and on-budget, where everything was communicated openly and in a timely manner. She's diligent, has an excellent memory, documents everything, and beautifually orchestrated multiple specialists to come in in such a way where we lost little to no time between checkpoints. Beyond this, the team doing the physical work itself were charming and respectful of our space. They weren't shy about asking questions when needed, and proactively explained next steps. Our kitchen is a little more than 400 square feet, and had been as it was for around 20 years. We removed a wall, shifted the appliances around, and installed all new cabinets. We also hired her team to upgrade the electrical from knob and tube to modern technology, and changed out the flooring and hand rail for the stairs. Throughout the entirety of the original planning, change order process, or ad hoc decision making, it was very easy to collaborate with her and make the best decision for everyone. A+, 10/10, 5 stars - Priyam and the Konstructo team are the pinnacle of their industry.

Konstructo did a 1,300 sq ft remodel of our 1910 uninhabited basement and kitchen during COVID over 11 months. We added 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, other rooms and remodeled a kitchen and bathroom. It was a fantastic experience working with Priyam and her team. I’ve worked with 4 contractors during the past 10 years and Konstructo was so much better than them. We started our remodel with a sub-par contractor for 1.5 years who did everything wrong. We had to fire him and ended up negotiating a settlement with the state board. Priyam was willing to take over when several contractors we interviewed were unwilling. We got 3 quotes – all of which were about the same but I completely preferred the vibe I got from Priyam. It was actually reassuring to have the work done during COVID since I was working from home and could clearly hear that work was being done. I knew how many people were there and that they were working. Sometimes when I checked on the work at lunch or the end of the day I couldn’t see a single change without significant scrutiny. I took notes every day on who was there and what they did. It really helped me and I suggest that for everyone who’s up for it. The team (and I) discovered that I was very particular about what I wanted so they would check in with me sometimes several times a day (which I totally appreciated!) I also really appreciated how much Priyam was willing to talk to me about my thoughts about what was happening. I did a ton of research and Priyam didn’t mind when I wanted to discuss what I’d read online if it was different than the building methods I was seeing unfold. It felt like a partnership. It was so refreshing and contrary to what I’d experienced with other contractors. They rarely said no to one of my ideas – just “hmm… let’s figure out how we can do this…” Sometimes it did result in a no but it made sense when they explained. In summary, I think the best things about working with Priyam was the open, honest dialogue, the awesome, high-quality end product (I love my house so much now!) and that her workers really care about the work they’re doing. I watched one of her foremen make a few guys redo siding they had been working on all day because they had installed it at a slight slant. It’s so clear they enjoy what they’re doing and thrive in delivering excellent results. They were also so considerate of us in our home (again and again – for example, one of Priyam’s guys picked up the lunch trash that a subcontractor left.) My favorite part of the project was all the little custom add-ons we requested at the end. I suggest everyone try to budget for that because it cost us about 10% extra but made all the difference in a super fun house. Finally, it was so nice that once Priyam started, we had a team on the project every day until we finished except for only a few days (across 11 months!) that Priyam always discussed with us beforehand. Our prior contractor sometimes disappeared with no returned calls for weeks.

Priyam and her team are amazing! We used her to remodel our entire house. They do amazing work, we are beyond happy with the finish product. Her team was easy to communicate with and very timely. Her cost estimates were on point with final cost and her staff completed projects on time. Priyam was fabulous and steered us away from making unnecessary changes! We will use her on our next project and I will continue to refer her out!

Priyam and her crew were recommended to me by a friend, and I feel lucky that she was able to take on our projects. The first was a gut remodel of the main bathroom in our house; she was great at listening, communicating, and a pleasure to work with. The workers she sent were also professional, considerate of our space, and worked well together. While I chose much of the design and materials myself, she and her team provided great suggestions and corrections to improve my ideas. We liked them enough to trust our kitchen renovation to them as well. It was a big job with some challenges but Priyam stayed optimistic and I am so happy with the end result. She worked with my architect's drawings to make our illogical, small kitchen newly spacious even though we didn't add any square footage, and again her team members made suggestions that were much better than my own. I contracted with Priyam to remodel a primary bathroom. It entailed moving the shower to the opposite wall, closing off the entrance and creating a new doorway, moving a toilet, converting an antique dresser into a vanity, moving electrical and heating. Along the way I added a used brick wall in my entry and living room. I couldn't be happier. Priyam clearly saw my vision and coordinated all the details efficiently. She has a wonderful, hardworking crew who are friendly, respectful, clean and on time. I have done many remodels over the years and Priyam is one of the best contractors I have worked with. I am looking forward to working with her on another bathroom remodel and a few other projects around my house.

We knew there was amazing potential for our home, but we also knew it would be a big job that needed the right touch. Dealing with a home built in 1850 meant working with structure outside the spectrum of modern construction. Konstructo, with Priyam as the head, tackled a complete renovation helping us tie together the historic nature of the home with all the modern conveniences we wanted. She led the project, which created an open kitchen plan and modified our roof structure to increase the head height in our second story—neither a small feat of engineering. She also replaced our roof, completely renovated two bathrooms, installed new windows, new doors, and completely upgraded our electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Rounding out the project, she trimmed the home exactly how we wanted, and every time a question came up, she involved us and provided terrific insights and options. We are thrilled with the outcome, and, without hesitation, we highly recommend Priyam and Konstructo.

We highly recommend Konstructo, Inc. They recently completed a remodel of 2 ½ bathrooms and did a great job. Master bathroom and guest bathrooms were upstairs. The crew made an effort to keep the construction site clean and well protected. The crew was polite and checked with us on major intervals of job . Most outstanding was the project manager Priyam! She knows how to listen to the client. Her calm and personal touch made it a pleasure to work with her. Priyam communicated with us and made sure we were always happy with the progress. Konstructo is amazing. We hired Priyam and her crew to do about $50,000 worth of mostly interior remodeling. She was recommended by friends in Alameda and has made them very happy as well. She was on time and very easy to work with. Excellent prep and cleanup and particularly good interior painting and finishing detail (new doors and casings). My only regret is not having her painter do even more bedrooms. She is very responsive and will manage as much or as little as asked. She was also happy to give us advice regarding hardware. We also hired her to redo some shoddy exterior work that had been poorly done but another contractor. She made excellent irmprovements to siding and gutters that give us a lot more confidence our house will survive the weather. I would 100% hire her again and have already recommended her to several friends.

Priyam and her team were great. We renovated our main floor and swapped the location of our dining room with our kitchen and vice-versa. After meeting with other contractors, it was only Priyam that had the vision to make the suggestion of the swap to get us our dream kitchen. It was helpful to know that Priyam was managing all aspects from the schedule to the crew. Everyone was extremely respectful of our home and our neighbors. We highly recommend Konstructo.
