Omega Home Studio

I've been planning to build a deck on the back of my home in suburban Grand Rapids, MI for some time now, but early on I realized that the position of my home and the surrounding terrain made it more challenging than I expected. I landed on Home Studio by Omega for a number of reasons. Vic and his team have a stellar reputation. They've been in business here for years, so they're a part of the community. The process was smooth - I met with the project lead onsite where we walked the property and I shared my thoughts on a deck. Days later they presented a draft plan with cost estimate within my budget, a start to finish timetable, and maybe most impressive of all - they navigated the notorious permitting process red tape in our village. (The previous homeowner gave up trying to get approved.) I subsequently hired Omega for another unique challenge. I needed a custom mounting solution for a huge outdoor display in downtown GR measuring 60-feet across and 12-feet high. In addition, the display to stand flush against plate glass windows The Omega team designed a work of art and erected in a half day and it went on to withstand soaking rains, gusty winds, and the hot sun for three weeks. This was some seriously creative problem solving. Thanks, Omega! and team were absolutely fantastic to work with.

The finished job on my new garage was great. Nothing has been easy during this pandemic but I always got timely information and was kept well informed. I would recommend Omega to anyone looking for a contractor. The price was very fair and the workmanship was great. Thanks for a job well done guys.

Omega was the nearest supplier I could find to match some existing Koch cabinets. There were several “problems” that occurred but the Omega team worked hard to correct the issues. Thank you Mike!!! I cannot however recommend Koch cabinet makers as most, if not all, problems were created by them.

After initial delays due to supplier and subcontractor problems, and some communication issues, Omega came through with a wonderfully bright and useable new laundry room in what had been a dungeon of a basement. Dee Popovic (designer) and Jesse Oliver (project manager) figured out a way to adapt a layout we'd seen online into something that would work in our very tight basement space. Alan VanderMeer and Clay Sturgeon worked skillfully and tirelessly to manifest it. Although the project took longer than expected, we are very pleased with the final result. We got not only a new washer dryer, but a lovely room and - best of all - much needed storage space.
