Bill and his team transformed the yard into a playground paradise for our kids, while still implementing features that allow adults to kick back and relax. Bill and his team installed a multi-tiered level yard, patio, hillside slide, obstacle course on the bottom part of the yard, and constructed a new deck. They landscaped and sourced all the plantings and beds. *Thorough - Provost Companies was one of 4 companies from which we received a bid. We worked with a separate landscape architect who has over 20 years of experience and the architect commented it was the most thorough, detailed bid he had ever seen. Bill listened to our goals during the first meeting and built a scope that met our needs. He followed up after the estimate to see if we had questions. *Professional - Provost Companies has a culture that is clearly led by Bill, who founded the company. Everyone who came to work here was polite, respectful, knowledgable about the project, and friendly. The crew cares about the work. Crew would follow up on work they had completely previously to make sure we were pleased. *Communicative - Bill set up weekly 1:1 calls with us to check in on the project. As necessary, these were in person. This allowed us to discuss project activities or adjustments proactively. We always felt 'in the know.' *Honest - This came up particularly when it came to construction of a new deck. The prior deck could have remained, but Bill provided us a 'pro' 'con' list objectively to guide our decision. We ultimately chose to have Bill's team build a new deck. We are thrilled with this decision. The deck construction was completed incredibly well and Bill scoped the deck materials to ensure we could later 'screen it in' if we so choose. *Trustworthy - We knew the project was being completed with fidelity and a high sense of craftsmanship. Provost Companies is fantastic to work with! William and his team remodeled the entire first floor of my older home. Transforming a layout with several small rooms into a modern open concept with an up-to-date kitchen. It was a large undertaking that included removing a chimney, creating support beams, relocating a staircase, and installing hardwood flooring. His staff is professional, experienced, and took great care in all stages of the project. I felt comfortable from the first visit to the final meeting.

We hired Provost Companies to transform an unfinished/attic like space into a master suite. With a substantial project like this, we prioritized communication and process when choosing a contractor and we felt Provost would give us the best experience and they delivered. Bill Provost was easy to access and did a great job communicating every step in the process. We would have weekly zoom calls to discuss the weeks scope of work and what to expect in the weeks to come. All of Provost’s employees that worked in our home were incredibly respectful, neat, and showed up when they said they would. There wasn’t a day that someone was not at the house working to keep the project on schedule. Thank you to Dana, Doug, Ryan, Andy and Dan. We are thrilled with the work and love our new space.

We used Provost to completely overhaul our front and back yard and to tear down and rebuild our deck in Pembroke. We couldn’t be happier with the results. From the get go you could tell working with this company was going to be different. They just cared more about us and the project than I have ever experienced from any other home improvement company. From weekly meetings responsiveness to emails and calls there wasn’t a single moment where we felt unsupported or out of the loop. The whole team is so kind and professional. From the top of the company to the newest worker on the team they not only get the job done but make you feel secure through the process. The end product is nothing short of stunning and we have signed up to stick with them for our yard maintenance as well and they have been so on point with that!! I cannot reccomend this company more. William and his team completed two big projects at our home. They worked with us from the design through renovation completion of a complete basement reno and main floor kitchen reno. William was responsive, creative, helped us stay within our budget (even when unexpected issues happened), and very detailed oriented. Phase 2 completion In 2020, we decided to rebuild our home of 45 years. The most important thing for us was to hire the best people for the project. Once the rebuild of the house and the construction of the garage was complete, we had an absolutely beautiful home but our yard was a complete disaster. Before the project started we knew, by reputation, Bill Provost's company was the one we wanted to design, build and maintain our landscaping. We began the first phase of the landscaping project in July 2022. I showed Bill some drawings I made in 2020 and told him I wanted cobblestones around the driveway, a stone patio with walkways, plantings around the yard that changed with the seasons and a really great lawn. I told him my yard was his blank canvas, have fun. Phase one was completed Nov 2022. This saw 95٪ of the stone work completed (the walkways, patio and cobblestones), a dry well and a trench to resolve water issues, front gardens and cherry trees, the driveway and our lawn with irrigation. Phase 2 ...March‐June 2023. Trees and stumps removed, overreach from the tree line cleared, 4 more trees planted and many plantings in additional garden areas. We had such a great experience with Provost!! We turned our outdated half bath into a updated sheek full bath. We worked closely with the crew in our home and were quick to be informed or responded by the owner himself. Dana and Dan did wonderful work and where there for any and all questions and support through the process. They were thorough but also quick which we appreciated having a toddler running around. I would suggest this company to anyone looking to upgrade their home big or small - you get the best customer service and product around!! attached some pictures because they show what a dramatic change/improvement they were able to make!

It seems no project is without one or two bumps in the road to completion, but Provost knows how to handle them. They are professionals with an eye for detail and the ability to execute to their own high standards. We loved working with them and look forward to future projects!

Highly recommend Provost Companies. They completely transformed our unusable backyard into a magazine worthy space that we could not have envisioned on our own (a beautiful bluestone patio with stone sitting wall, gas firepit, and deck with built in stone kitchen). They are extremely responsive, pay great attention to the details, are transparent about budget and costs, and the quality of their work is amazing. They literally do everything you could need for your home or landscape projects, which makes things so much easier to not have to manage multiple companies for different tasks. We hired them for landscape maintenance after our project was finished, and are already thinking about future projects!

Will and Dan have both been absolutely nothing but professional and fantastic to work with. They helped us transform our super old kitchen into a fresh, new, and (most importantly) functional space. From the start they were very easy to work with and made some great suggestions on the project. Renovating a kitchen while not only still living there, but working from home can be very stressful but Will and Dan made it a breeze. 5 stars, would 100% recommend.

There are few occasions ,as a homeowner, that you have people into your home that start as contractors and end as friends....the Provost team: Dan, Project Manager; Doug and Sean, carpenters are such people. From the minute we committed to William Provost, Principal, to do our addition to this afternoon, completion, it was a flawless, seamless operation. The planning for access, the positioning of materials, the unobtrusive presence, the daily communication and general compatibility between the team and ourselves was perfect....let me say that again...perfect!, Our crew would communicate each days’ objective, weekly timetable and progress. They showed up each day regardless of the cold weather and snow. When they could not, we knew by 08:00 but there were only three or four days that prohibited safe working conditions. They all had suggestions, born of experience, that fine tuned our project. They listened to our suggestions and told us their experiences and what to expect. As with any project, we had changes and modifications, all of which were communicated back to us in the form of cost, time and results...all of which were right on the money. Their sub - contractors: flooring: roofing; plastering; plumbing/heating and electrical were professional and timely...giving us a battery of sources for future needs. The materials, effort, care, attention to detail and concern for our money and time are entities that are invaluable! Everything worked, fitted and looked as we planned. This two story addition is built like a battleship...better than the house, it is insulated, heated and fitted with excellent Harvey windows and doors. I cannot recommend William, Dan, Doug and Sean enough! They have been terrific! They also kept an eye out for our three dogs, being very careful in keeping doors closed and aware of their presence. All in all, this was a a great experience!,,

I recently contracted Provost company for some home improvements. The first was the rebuilding of the deck. They were wonderful. Their eye for detail was amazing. I absolutely love it! The second project was to replace the laminate floors throughout the kitchen, dining room and living room. It only took 2 days and looks terrific. The crew was friendly and respectful. William kept me informed during the whole process. He was readily accessible and just a phone call away. I would definitely recommend them and will contract them for any further projects.

We had a wonderful experience with Provost Co. A recent purchase of a shed necessitated some work to make the project presentable. Provost Co. had great ideas and brought them to life expeditiously. We were thrilled with the professionalism of the crew as well as the quality of their work. Without a doubt we would not hesitate to use them again for anything.

Bill and his team successfully removed and procured a large section of housing foundation that was in need of dire repair! The task was completed in a very timely manner, within our budget, and the worksite was kept in clean order for the entire duration of the project. Provost Companies, Inc., from the beginning of the project to the end, has been an absolute pleasure to work with. I'm someone who has lived in South Florida their entire lives, where sunshine and rainfall is plentiful. Having recently relocated to MA, I wasn't aware of all the maintenance (aside from regular mowing) involved in caring for a lawn. That being said, this past spring I was surprised when I saw my lawn was covered in everything but grass. I was embarrassed and ashamed at my lawns condition. In the end of summer, I reached out to Provost and they quickly installed an irrigation system, and renovated the lawn. They've kept me well informed and answered ALL of my questions (and I had a lot!). They worked quickly, and professionally. The grass is germinating now, and it already is a marked improvement over what it was in the spring. My wife and I are finally able to look at our yard and feel happy with what we see. We had a bathroom remodel project and researched some area contractors. Provost had good reviews and when we reached out they were courteous, timely, and safe especially when it came to COVID-19 measures. We are very pleased with the new bathroom and the Provost team worked hard to ensure that it was completed on time. They were knowledgeable and considerate throughout the project. The estimate was fair and there were not any surprises. Provost kept good records of the costs and even refunded us money once the project was complete. We’ve worked with other contractors in the past and Provost was the best experience from start to finish. I will work with Provost again would absolutely recommend them for home projects.

This is a class act firm with a multitude of experience and project oversight. They have done anything from small fix it issues to major renovation and remodels with incredible results. They are easy going, friendly and the owner will personally oversee items. Highly recommend this team and firm to anyone.

I've used Provost Companies as my landscaper for many years. They fully manage all my landscaping maintenance. I have also used Provost to do some major projects including brick walkways and stairs, in front and back of the house, and a full renovation with modifications to our deck using Trex decking. My wife and I are extremely happy with the results and we will hire his company again for future projects. When I hire a company I look for quality of work, knowledge, price, and most importantly a company I can trust. The fact that I'm still working with Provost, and owner Bill, speaks for itself.

Seeing that this project began right at the beginning of the quarantine, it did create some challenges but Bill was on top of all the regulations required to be able to keep the work moving. We use Provost Companies for our lawn care and landscape needs. Bill and his team are great. They are responsive, conscientious and dedicated to our satisfaction.

We had water damage in our kitchen and the entire kitchen needed to be rebuilt, so I was looking around for contractors. Provost Companies had good reviews, so I gave them a call. William was very responsive and made the proposal process easy. They removed everything from the kitchen, replaced the floor all the way down to the joists, and rebuilt the kitchen. The project was managed by Dan, who clearly understood the entire project and I was confident that he could correctly communicate the details to the subcontractors (who were also professional and did good work). The finish details were great, and Dan took the time to fix some issues that were the fault of our cabinet company. The crown molding didn't come ready to mount on the top of the frameless cabinets, so Dan came up with a custom method, which was more labor intensive for him, but he wanted to do it the right way. Bottom line, if I have another project and I need a contractor, I won't need to shop around - I'll just call Provost.

Bill Provost and team did an excellent job on my garage addition project. I'd definitely hire them again for any major structural additions. Bill kept me abreast of the work the entire time. In terms of opportunities to improve - the driveway sub-contractor messed up and my driveway is starting to fall apart, wish we had used a different driveway sub-contractor.

I’d like to take the time to provide feedback on a fairly recent job provided by Provost Companies, Inc. More specifically working with Billy. From the get go and up until the end of our project, what I had envisioned is what was what was created by the crew. The Provost Company completed the work at our home which included a driveway and retaining walls. Bill was always professional and helpful with the design and completion of the project. The work exceeded our expectations.

I contacted Bill and his team to fix our lawn and install a new sprinkler system. What we got was a complete transformation; a breathtaking lawn that our neighbors literally would stop and stare at as they passed by in envy. Our friends called it Augusta National! The team came in and assessed the project, quoted a very fair price, and delivered within the time frame they promised. And their follow-up and service plans were top notch. we didn’t have to worry about anything. Highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of service.

Provost Co took a 70 year old kitchen and transformed it to a more open, clean lined efficient kitchen. Though delayed with the initial start the project manager Dan was attentive and truly took ownership in the three room project to complete the transformation. I am deeply appreciative for the craftsmanship and attention to detail.

I hired Provost Companies to renovate my basement last spring. Both Bill and his crew were very professional and always answered all my questions. They even checked in with me a couple of times after the project was complete to ensure that the work was holding up and that I was happy with the results.

I hired Priovost Co when I moved into my home to remove a few trees. I also was interested in a stone patio, and some light repairs on the deck and three-season room. As they started assessing the work, we found structural issue after structural issue. Bill was great and worked with me through every problem that was uncovered (and there were many). He listened to my ideas and concerns and presented different options for me to choose from. He also came up with design ideas that made better use of the space, and made it more functional but gave it added charm at the same time. The crew had to redo the design several times, as we often found something else that needed to be factored in. While the whole project was completely overwhelming at times, Bill and his crew were always thoughtful and professional, and their creativity and attention to even the smallest of details ended up creating an absolutely stunning outdoor space that is just amazing and a beautiful deck, and converted the three to a four-season room (with a gas fireplace!!) that I enjoy all year. It was a heck of a long haul and I wouldn’t change a thing.

We recently put a deck on the back of our house, and hired Provost Companies to do it. Out of the three companies we contacted, Provost was the most prompt and responsive in their reply, and gave us a thorough and fair proposal almost immediately. Bill Provost was professional from the outset; responding to our multiple questions and working within our budget. Upon demolition, it became immediately clear that our house had some major structural issues. Although this meant a much longer and more involved job than anticipated, Provost and his team stuck with it, and did not overcharge for the additional work. While scary and overwhelming at times, Provost and his team walked us patiently through each step of the way. (And even put up with 5,000 questions from my son!) The end result is an amazing outdoor sanctuary which my family will enjoy for many, many years.

Bill Provost and his team were excellent. My wife and I did a major remodel to our 1950s ranch. The project included, removing a wall between the kitchen and living room, vaulting our ceiling in the new 'great room' (from 7.5Ft to ~10ft), moving our staircase to the basement to the other end of the house, adding a bathroom in the basement, and remodeling the fireplace. I should probably rate them for various items for everyone: - Quality - Great. Their attention to detail was and desire to get the end-product to our liking was exceptional - Attention to detail - Great... see above - Cleanliness - Very good. I never thought about this until they started demolition, but they did a very job making sure there wasn't debris everywhere when we got home from work. - Imagination - Great. Bill's lead on our job was Rich. Rich was very good at taking our base idea and giving us thoughts, feedback, and potential ideas/solutions. Rich was very creative when we ran into issues (and you will run into issues if you do a project this size). - Communication - Very good. Bill and Rich made sure we knew what was happening and when, and also told us about delays. Every homeowner hates delays to a project, but they happen, and Bill made sure to address them quickly and tell us the path forward - Cost - Very good. Most importantly, they delivered on the quote they gave us. Yes, we had some small change orders, but those were driven by us, not poor estimating by Bill. Favorite/Best parts of the project. 1. The fireplace - looks amazing 2. The bathroom - really cool My wife and I were most impressed with their quality of work and attention to detail. We will certainly hire Bill again. I hired Provost Companies to paint the stairwell, upstairs hall, and master bedroom of my townhouse, and to remove the popcorn ceiling in the bedroom. Bill, the owner, showed up right on time to give me a quote and then emailed it to me while he was still in my driveway. They were able to fit my work in during some down time on another job, so it was completed well before I expected it to be. The workers were right on time, and they did a great job. I have a few more projects to do in my house and will call Provost Companies again.

From conceptualization, to planning, to execution, the process could not have been easier. The entire team is attentive and detail oriented. When it came time to plan a renovation on our kitchen, we were overwhelmed to say the least. We knew the general idea of what we wanted, but did not know how to make it come together. Provost Landscaping has been taking care of our lawn, shrubs, sprinkler system since our previous company closed. They fixed our sprinkler system which had been a huge problem for many years and planted arborvitae against our back fence along with much beds and it’s own sprinkler system.
