When we did a whole home remodel, I was so nervous about the regulatory aspect of it. Even looking for all the codes and zoning info was overwhelming. Finally I ended up calling SJZ. I was impressed by their licensing and background. When I told them about my project, they immediately explained what we would need to do to ensure everything would be up to code. I knew my project was in good hands. Since the renovations were extensive, I needed permits; SJZ handled the whole process. Having so much turned inside out in my home to remodel was intimidating, but I was surprised by how quickly they finished everything. Talk about a job well done! When my wife and I wanted to renovate our kitchen, we weren't sure who to contact. Then we found SJZ Construction & Remodeling. We met with Sammy and enjoyed speaking to him as he seemed to know what we were trying to accomplish. But WOW we had no clue that he knew exactly what we wanted. It's like he read our minds or something. Sammy and his team did our kitchen so beautifully in such a timely manner and at an expense that worked within our budget that we decided to redo our bathrooms with him and we are so happy with his work! I got 5 different quotes from several of the local remodeling companies and settled on working with Sammy. He met with me and went over multiple different options and got to know what I wanted along with what would fit my budget. He is incredibly knowledgeable and a true professional in the remodeling business. He helped me update my grossly outdated bathrooms and a light remodel of the kitchen to give it a fresh appearance. In doing so we were able to stay within a cost effective way to obtain the desired look we wanted and most important while staying within our budget. Sammy managed every aspect of the projects from supply ordering, inspection appointments, the construction, coordinating the plumbers and electricians so that everything was completed within a timely and efficient manner. His workers were also incredibly respectful and minimized any mess and made sure to not damage any of the hardwood floors in rooms leading to the construction. Working with Sammy was a genuinely pleasant experience and I most definitely will be a returning customer for the rest of my remodeling projects.

I hired SJZ to do work on a bathroom. They did great work. Showed up on time and dealt with the little things. Cause there’s always something. They also pointed out some other issues at my house. There was water and termite damage, and I asked about fixing things like old style doors. Anyway, they did a bunch of other projects for me. Oh—including fixing broken tiles in my kitchen and painting through out. Don’t have a lot of photos. Paining in process below.
