I hired Vector Mountain to build a garage addition that included a live-above apartment. The project not only included building an entire structure from the ground up, but also involved tying the new structure into my existing house. After working with Jeremy to nail down the scope, he provided a very thorough, complete and accurate estimate and schedule for the project that proved to be spot on. He was very communicative throughout the project, letting me know what I could expect each week and finished the project on schedule - despite losing a month to the wettest May on record in Asheville! There were a few change orders that came up, and Jeremy was very open and fair on laying out the changes and the impact to the cost of the project. Jeremy's years of construction experience proved to be an enormous asset. His attention to detail, knowledge of carpentry, engineering and construction management kept the product of the sub-contractors at a high level. Not only does the garage match up flawlessly on the outside, but Jeremy matched the trim and doors in the apartment with my 1936 house! Some of the work involved removing and replacing drywall and ceiling in my house. Jeremy sealed up the work area air-tight and kept my living room very clean. My project was completed on schedule, under budget and the quality is second to none. It is better than I had hoped for and I HIGHLY recommend Vector Mountain to anyone looking for a general contractor!

We hired Jeremy from Vector Mountain to remodel our kitchen. The project involved a complete gutting of the kitchen including removing half a wall to open up the space, replacing drywall and installing insulation, tiling, moving the appliances to new locations, installing new cabinets, and pouring concrete countertops. From the work he put into the initial quote to every detail we were impressed. He consistently communicated what was happening on a daily basis via text, phone calls, or in person. We always knew what was happening, which subcontractors were showing up, and where the project was in the timeline. The 7 week project finished on schedule and we are thrilled with the end product. Jeremy was flexible with us around a few things we wanted to do ourselves to save money, specifically building the cabinets and painting the walls and ceiling. He was clear about when we needed to do each of our parts to help him stay on schedule. We were a bit nervous about dust and debris getting into the rest of the house. I was amazed with how clean Jeremy kept the space. Before ripping out the drywall or doing other messy jobs, he sealed the space well and always cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. We work from home so we saw the entire process unfold. I highly recommend Jeremy for any home renovations or remodeling projects. I was impressed with his integrity, professionalism, work quality, and ability to stay on budget and meet the initial timeline. We have already recommended him to several friends!

I had Jeremy and Vector Mountain build a fairly complicated multi-level deck on and around an existing foundation wall. Like with any addition to an old structure, we ran into some surprises, but Jeremy quickly adapted our plans and kept the progress going. We ended up with a deck that we know we're going to enjoy for years to come. I would highly recommend Vector Mountain for their professionalism and engineering expertise.
