We have been doing business with AVX over the past 6 years during our remodeling project. Our only regret was not having them on board from the start of the project. During our remodel, we worked with countless subcontractors. Rich at AVX sets the standard in customer service. Typically he is able to correct issues remotely however, if a problem arises which requires in home service, he has always been very prompt and there has never been a situation that he could not fix. If you are looking to remodel or build, we cannot stress strongly enough how important it is to have AVX involved from day one. They can "pre-wire" your home so that you can add items as you go. For example, our daughter's room has been completed for several years but she is now old enough to where we decided to put a TV in her room. The pre-wiring was done at the time of her room remodel so it was as simple as pulling the wires out of the wall where they were hid, mounting the TV to the wall, and programming it into our Control 4 system. Again, we highly recommend AVX for any home audio, video/theater, lighting or automation work. By the way, they also have done a great job upgrading our boat, truck, and collector car with fun toys such as cell phone remote starter, power inverters (boat), and custom work!

AVX sold and installed our IP based Control4 home automation system back in 2006. It's currently a twelve zone system that provides audio to all twelve areas and HD video to seven areas. We have a centrally located equipment server rack that distributes the audio and video throughout our home to include areas from our home theatre to outdoor pool/patio areas. The system also controls our heating/cooling and video security systems. When AVX initially installed and configured our system it was about half the size it is now. What I've always liked about our system is that it is scalable and you're able to add on as your needs grow. Not only has AVX provided us with great products, they've also done a fantastic job with any of the installation services required. We have had AVX work several projects over the past 10 years and they've always been completed timely and professionally. I highly recommend them.

I have an extensive Control 4 powered entertainment system that was installed by AVX. Recently I updated my matrix switcher and some of my TVs began acting strangely and not responding to remote controller inputs. I called AVX to fix the problem. They were at my house the next day to fix the problem. The servicemen were very courteous and also hooked up my son's PS4 to the system while they were there, saving me a call and time.
