All we can say is WOW! Having built 2 previous homes and renovated 2 more, the experience with Cleve and his team was truly exceptional. The level of communication was beyond our expectations. Cleve was personally involved every step of the way and entertained all of our requests. Our build was on acreage, so we had to start with developing the homesite and bringing in utilities. He and his team offered many practical suggestions along the way to help make our home the best we have built. The team was not only able to build a beautiful home, but they did it in a timely manner. While we never expect to have to build another home, if we did it would be with Cleve Adamson Custom Homes.

Our house turned out better than we could imagine! Cleve was more than accommodating to our changes and brought plenty of great ideas to the table to take some of the stress off us. The entire build process ended up feeling easy. I highly recommend a visit with CA Homes. I quoted this from a previous review and could not agree more. I would like to add to this in things to watch out for...Cleve or his foreman are out there almost everyday to review what the contractors have done and determine if the work is up to the CE build quality for sure.. I would say though that they are not perfect and can miss some things. Make sure you go through to look up and verify every piece of electronic/harware equipment in your new home. An example is the plumber put in a recirc pump for our hot water and they put in a cast iron model and now here we are 4 years out with a completely rusted recirc pump (they should have put in a bronze one but took the cheap way out). Had we looked this up and verified we would have corrected it before closing, Now here i am having to fix/purchase the correct putmp and install. I would also recommend make sure the electrician has done his job correctly; specifically your ethernet drops and cable tv drops. Our lazy electrician wired some of the ethernet drops incorrectly (thus they didn't work) and didn't even bother to connect the ends for the cable tv. Cleve Adamson did build the home of our dreams for sure however some of his contractors chose the simplest/cheapest way and I would say the BUYER must also go through to verify things are right. Cleve will most certainly back his product but he can't fix it if he isn't aware of it. So end story is yes I would build another home with him over any other but I would now have the knowledge to look for and correct substanderd work!

Our experience working with Cleve was everything we could have hoped for. He is a highly experienced, knowledgeable, and patient professional with a strong commitment to quality. Building a large custom home is something few homeowners have experience with. It is not a short process and there are many decisions to contemplate. Cleve remained dedicated to the customer experience throughout, gracefully balancing between trusted advisor and resource director when we wanted time to self educate. We were consistently impressed with his responsiveness and availability throughout the process. He gave us solid results from start to finish. We absolutely love our home.

We retained Cleve to build our home that will be our last. He and his subs and workers did a fantastic job and have built a home that we absolutely love. Cleve is very easy to work with and communicates well. He offered insight and suggestions that added functionality and value to the home. He was receptive to our ideas and understood what we wanted. This was shown in the floor plans produced after our conversations. Once construction began, I noticed how efficiently orchestrated the work of the various subcontractors was. We have worked with several contractors, in other cities in Texas in the past and found Cleve and his team to have been the easiest to communicate and work with during and after the building process.

When we decided to build our home, we had planned to talk to several builders before choosing one. We met with Cleve first, and felt so comfortable with him that we didn’t feel the need to meet with anyone else. We felt like he genuinely wanted to help us build the home we wanted, and he and his staff worked with us to draw up a floor plan. He was proactive in getting permits and soil tests, so when we were ready to build, so was he. He had us meet with his designer, who helped us choose flooring, paint colors, countertops, and hardware so there was no delay in building due to decisions not being made. The entire building process seemed very streamlined. If we did have a concern, he was prompt in addressing it, and we had complete confidence in him and his staff. They were all knowledgeable and helpful. We whole-heartedly recommend Cleve and his staff to anyone looking for a builder, and we would choose him again if we ever build another home.

Cleve Adamson is an exceptional custom home builder. This was our first time to build a home and Cleve quickly set our minds at ease. Cleve and his team patiently guided us through the process, gave frequent updates and recommendations and added their creative craftsmanship that resulted in a beautiful house we are lucky to call home. We built our dream home with Cleve this past year. Throughout the process, we enjoyed being able to work with Cleve directly, and found him to be accommodating and responsive. Everyone will tell you that building a custom home is stressful, particularly when you are living in a different state while the house is being built, but we were pleasantly surprised and our experience with the home design and build process was actually pretty good. It was collaborative, and we appreciated Cleve's attention to detail. He took the time to get to know what was important to us. I think the most stressful part was the amount of tile and lighting choices to pick from! With few exceptions, the quality in our home is superior to other homes that I have toured in our immediate area. If presented with the choice, we would build with Cleve again.

Cleve Adamson built our home, and we have been in it now since February 2016. To summarize our experience, it could not have gone any better. Cleve brought to our home a perfect balance of craftsmanship and artistry, and the final product is a beautiful home that, thanks to his tweaks throughout the process, is a joy to live in. Any changes we wanted to make (and there were many), he made always with a smile on his face and worked with us to get them accomplished always considering time and budget. He is honest and punctual. We never had a single issue, and we are so happy we found him to build our home. Finally his contractors and his foreman crew are as great as he is. Building a home can be a horror story with the wrong builder. You won't go wrong with Cleve Adamson Custom Homes!
