Falcon Alaska

Falcon made the building process stress free. Every phase was carefully laid out and they met their estimated completion dates on each phase. There were no huge overage charges other than one unforeseen cost but they sought our approval before proceeding. Aleks is an excellent project manager and is on the ball. Falcon changed my mind about having a home built. They keep their word and do excellent work. The craftsmanship is superb. I love my new home and my husband is happy with his hangar.

I often think of how well we did with this house. But, I fail to shoot my builder a note saying, “Thanks.” This house is doing really well. It’s got some signs of earthquake and time. A couple of the doors could use to be replaced and sealed up and maybe a couple windows. But overall, it’s been 7.5 years and it’s just solid. Even with record snow load, cold temps, and power outages, it’s snug. Everything is operating as designed. Our power went out last night and I rolled over and thought, “Meh, I’ll roll out the generator in the morning if it’s still out.” Who does that at -13? Wasn’t even worried. They are a pleasure to work with and provide a superior product. Very few people I know that have built a custom home still like their builder much less remain friends. Falcon Alaska is unique in their commitment to quality and to the customer. If I were to build again, there's only one builder that I would even approach, Falcon.

Falcon Alaska is a great business to work with in Alaska. All of their guys are very responsive, and easy to work with. They showed up to our jobsite and got the work knocked out on time, and the work they did was very good quality. I highly recommend them for any concrete work you have to do. I look forward to doing more business with them in the future

We recently discovered the paint was flaking off our front door, evidently due to an error when it was originally painted. We contacted Falcon Alaska to see if the door was still under warranty as it had been six years since the house had been built. Because the door had been painted on-site it was no longer under warranty. However, we were told “…we would like to make sure you’re left with a solid product that will last for years to come” and they immediately contacted a painter to redo the door at no charge to us. Falcon was under no obligation to repair a door that they had installed and painted six years ago but they treated it like it was installed yesterday. We bought an acre of land with spectacular views at the top of Maud and the Falcon team designed and built a house that was equally spectacular. This is the first house we have ever had built. We were apprehensive because you always hear how difficult the build process is. That was not our experience with Falcon. Adam and Grace worked with us to design the house we wanted. Aleks worked with everyone to get the house built ahead of schedule. Adam and Aleks responded to all my texts and were able to solve any problems that arose in a timely matter. Falcon Alaska designed and built our custom home during the 2021-2022 time frame that met and exceeded our expectations along every step of the process. The Falcon design build process was key to getting the dream house we wanted while managing our budget and schedule constraints. Working with Adam on the front-end loaded design and selection process was a pleasure. His key design insights and supplier knowledge were invaluable to our decision making process, and setting up a construction contract that was mutually agreeable. The handover to the construction team was seamless. Working with Josh and Aleks on a weekly basis, along with using their on-line project management software, enabled us to meet our move in schedule and minimize change orders. Falcon was highly responsive to all our needs and delivered a well-crafted and well-built beautiful home!

We have just completed a concrete project at our home in Chugiak, AK, and have nothing but the highest praise for the work that was done! Grant, Larry and Ross did an outstanding job in completing the exact concrete project we were looking for. Amidst a persistent rainy season, Grant and the team did a great job of watching the weather and completing a driveway project on schedule. Our goal was to have it completed by the end of fall. Falcon Alaska did what they said they'd do, and in a timely manor. When we went to frame on the foundation they poured, it was perfectly square. My company strives for quality and try our hardest to partner with like minded companies, which we did with Falcon.

When looking for a company to build our dream home Wirtanen Inc. understood our vision and very throughout in laying out the building process so it was easy for first time builders to understand. They were great at communicating throughout the whole process and the Buildtrend software made it extremely easy to understand the timeline and go through the selection process so everything was completed on time.

After a couple of different attempts at having a house built we choose Wirtanen. From the beginning I really appreciated talking to our home builder instead of playing the “telephone game” with a realtor who doesn’t really understand what we wanted. The process was not without a couple snags but in the end the way things were handled was so much better than experiences some of my friends had. We have built our “forever” home however if we were to build again Wirtanen would be our only phone call.
